The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 89: Chapter 89 Boys Outdoors, Be Careful to Protect Yourself_1

Carson Flores was a bit confused. What exactly had Samantha Tate told Adan Gilliam?

Talented?

Ambition higher than the sky?

That sounded like she was praising him to the skies.

One thing was certainly true, if Carson Flores really wanted to make money, with his ability to snatch people from the king of hell’s clutches, he could easily amass a great fortune.

The wealthy fear death the most; they would give anything to buy their lives, clamoring for the chance.

”I’m apologizing to you because Uncle Gilliam previously judged you through a narrow lens and underestimated you. Through this incident, Uncle Gilliam has come to see clearly, no matter what kind of life you choose, with Samantha by your side, you’ll definitely not suffer hardships and will be happy. Moreover, you’re strong enough to ensure her safety.”

Carson’s expression was one of shock. What kind of twist was this?

He thought they were about to kick him out, forcing him to leave Samantha. But suddenly, there was this twist of love?

”Uncle Gilliam is also stating his position today. As for your romantic relationship with Samantha, I won’t interfere in the future. I hope you two get along well, and I look forward to you eventually walking down the aisle.”

Carson was stunned.

With you saying all that, what can I say?

If at this moment I say that my romantic relationship with your daughter is fake, that we’ve been deceiving you all this time, wouldn’t that be asking for a beating?

As he was feeling awkward, Samantha walked in. Seeing Carson and Adan chatting on the couch, she became nervous: ”What are you two talking about?”

Adan glanced at his slightly nervous daughter: ”You keep Carson company, I’m going to make a phone call.”

Samantha sat down next to Carson and asked softly, ”What were you discussing?”

Carson turned to look at Samantha, the corners of his mouth lifting: ”Someone with talent, who has ambition higher than the sky...”

Samantha blinked, looked at Carson’s expression, and then laughed softly: ”That’s a compliment for you.”

Carson huffed: ”You sure know how to spin things. Today’s the last acupuncture session for the old man, so I won’t need to come here after this.”

Samantha nodded: ”Right, where are you living now?”

Carson looked at Samantha warily: ”Why are you asking that?”

Samantha, annoyed, slapped Carson’s arm: ”What’s with that look? You’re a grown man, are you afraid of people knowing where you live?”

You guessed right!

I really am afraid!

If you knew that your sister and I sleep in separate rooms every night, wouldn’t that be something?

Carson answered earnestly: ”It’s all over the internet, boys should be careful to protect themselves when out and about, women these days can be ferocious!”

Samantha laughed: ”Stop teasing me. Next week we have a class reunion, you should come with me.”

Carson shook his head: ”You’re so pretty, surely many guys in the class like you. If I accompany you, won’t I become a target for everyone? I’d just be asking for trouble.”

Samantha pouted: ”What are you afraid of? You’re not even scared of a pack of wolves, why would you be scared of a few people?”

”Not going.”

Samantha had no way to deal with Carson. She had long realized that her beauty might work on other men, but it was completely ineffective on Carson.

The guy had incredible self-control!

Samantha blinked, her mind already made up.

Not going?

Hmph, I’ll just go directly to your company and wait for you!

After lunch, Carson left the Gilliam Family home and on the way back, he pulled his car over to the side of the road, took out his phone, and dialed Blake Simmons’s number.

”Mr. Flores!”

Carson got straight to the point: ”Mr. Simmons, I need a favor from you.”

Blake was overjoyed; he had been looking for an opportunity to repay Carson, but Carson, having no desires or needs, gave Blake no way to show his gratitude.

Furthermore, what Carson did for the Simmons Family was a life-saving act of enormous grace, not something a sum of money or a house could repay. Now that Carson was asking, how could Blake not be happy?

”Mr. Flores, please command me.”

Carson replied frankly: ”I need a loan, 250 million, not for me but for the Miller Group.”

Without hesitation, Blake agreed: ”No problem, Mr. Flores, when do you need it?”

Carson smiled: ”Hold on, Mr. Simmons, don’t be hasty. I have a couple of things to discuss with you before you decide whether to help.”

Blake laughed: ”If Mr. Flores needs it, then under any circumstances, it’s a done deal!”

Carson explained: ”I have a sort of relationship with Shirley Miller, the CEO of the Miller Group. Another major shareholder, Martin Baker, is trying to force Shirley out...”

Carson gave an overview of Shirley Miller, Martin Baker, and the Supreme Sky Corporation’s Brian James: ”If Mr. Simmons is going to help, it will certainly offend Brian James, since he’s made his intentions clear to the banks, who are unwilling to give out loans...”

Blake laughed: ”I’m not afraid of offending Brian James. Plus, we don’t need banks for this. The money can come directly from my Supreme Elephant Corporation.”

Carson asked: ”Won’t this affect the development of Supreme Elephant Corporation itself?”

Blake laughed: ”250 million is nothing, it won’t be an issue.”

Wealth speaks volumes!

Carson gave his thanks: ”Then thank you, Mr. Simmons. I have one small request, though. I’d rather Shirley Miller didn’t know the loan is connected to me...”

Blake was taken aback for a moment: ”If she asks, we need a reason, right?”

Carson thought for a moment: ”I have an idea...”
