The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

80: Chapter 80 Reinforcements?

No, I Came Over for a Drink_1 80: Chapter 80 Reinforcements?

No, I Came Over for a Drink_1 Jose Rich’s footsteps suddenly halted, his face’s arrogance instantly solidifying, replaced by a deathly pallor.

“Mr.

Flores…Mr.

Flores!”

Carson Flores gave a slight smile, “Isn’t it me?

It seems we are quite fated, not seeing each other for a few days and running into each other here again.”

Sweat instantly poured down Jose Rich’s forehead.

That damn Sergio Combs!

If you want to die, go die far away, why the hell are you dragging me into this!

Of all the people you could mess with, you had to provoke this God of Killing!

Are you an old man courting death, unhappy with a long life?

On that day, Jose Rich took action and was met with Carson Flores breaking his right hand, then knocking him out with a club and sending him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with a mild concussion.

Jose Rich stayed in the hospital for one day, then went home with his arm in a sling to recover.

Two days later, he received a call from Tucker Tyler.

Iron Fist is dead.

Evil Ghost is dead.

And so is Mr.

Lee.

All three of them were directly taken out by Carson Flores who came knocking at their door.

After listening to Tucker Tyler’s description of the scene, Jose Rich’s back was soaked in sweat, full of relief and fear.

Fortunately, it was he who had gone to trouble Carson Flores that day because, being the first time, Carson showed some mercy: only breaking his arm and knocking him out.

Had it been Evil Ghost or Iron Fist who went, he would have been the one taken out by Carson Flores in a single blow at the headquarters!

After spending two days in panic, Tucker Tyler told him to recover well and that the grudge with Mr.

Flores was settled, and only then did Jose Rich finally relax.

Over the past several days, being desperately afraid, now with peace of mind, Jose Rich joined some of his men for a drink, covertly celebrating his narrow escape from death, only to receive a call from Sergio Combs.

Sergio Combs’ uncle was a member of the Baker Family, and behind the Baker Family was Supreme Sky Corporation, just as Black Bamboo Corporation also had connections with Supreme Sky Corporation, so naturally, the Baker Family and Black Bamboo Corporation were closer.

He had dealt with Damien Baker a few times before; that guy was very decent and showed great respect to him, so Jose enjoyed drinking with him.

When Damien Baker’s nephew was bullied on his own turf, it was only right and proper for Jose to support Sergio Combs, otherwise, when Damien Baker inquired about it later, he would have trouble explaining himself.

But what Jose Rich never expected was that Sergio Combs had provoked none other than Carson Flores, the God of Killing!

He had just been celebrating surviving an encounter with the God of Killing, but that bastard Sergio Combs dragged him right in front of Carson Flores with a single phone call!

“What a coincidence…

ah, yes, a real coincidence.

I was just about to change venues and head to the bar with some friends for a drink…”

Sergio Combs was momentarily baffled.

What’s the situation?

I called you here to help me chop someone up, and you’re starting a chat?

Drinking?

It’s about chopping someone up!

“Knife Bro, it’s this kid!

You gotta help me get back at him, oh, and those two chicks by his side are pretty, let them keep us company for the night…”

Jose Rich’s brain exploded, and with a backhand, he slapped Sergio Combs hard across the face.

Sergio Combs was stunned by the sudden slap.

Why is Knife Bro hitting me?

The tattooed youth was also perplexed: “Knife Bro, isn’t Rat one of our own?”

Jose Rich felt as if he was standing on the brink of death.

He turned around, seizing the broadsword held by his underling behind him, and with a forceful swing, even with the sheath on, he lashed out fiercely.

The tattooed youth’s knees buckled under the heavy blow, and he instinctively thudded down to his knees.

Jose Rich then walked over to Sergio Combs, sweeping the sword over, striking Sergio’s back and sending him stumbling, while with his other hand he thrust the broadsword into the ground and, with a whoosh, drew the gleaming blade across Sergio’s throat, snarling, “Kneel down!

Mr.

Flores is not someone you can afford to provoke.

Are you blind?

Apologize to Mr.

Flores at once!”

After dealing with the tattooed youth and Sergio Combs, Jose Rich finally turned around, his face wearing an awkward and anxious smile, bowing as he apologized, “Mr.

Flores, these two were blind and offended you.

I’ll handle them for you, Mr.

Flores.”

This scene shocked everyone.

The tattooed youth and Sergio Combs, who had bragged about Knife Bro for so long, were this frightened upon seeing Carson Flores?

Mr.

Flores?

Who is this guy, to be so fierce?

Raelynn Howell and Rebecca Ward’s eyes were wide with disbelief as they looked from the kneeling pair to the calm Carson Flores, their eyes filled with admiring stars!

Big Brother Carson is so awesome!

Bro Carson is so MANLY!

Carson Flores casually asked, “Aren’t you the reinforcements they called for?

Aren’t you going to help them?”

Without a second thought, Jose Rich shook his head, “I just came to have some drinks, ran into this by chance.

What reinforcements?

In front of Mr.

Flores, I’m nothing, nothing at all.”

Carson Flores didn’t bother with Jose’s nonsense, asking directly, “You’re good friends with Damien Baker?”

Jose didn’t dare to lie, and seeing that Carson didn’t seem intent on harming him, he steadied himself and replied, “Mr.

Lee has business ties with the Baker family, so I occasionally drink with Damien Baker; we’re quite familiar, but you understand, Mr.

Flores, the relationship isn’t that serious…”

Carson Flores smiled, “Mr.

Lee’s business is quite extensive, seems like he can find deals anywhere.”

Anxiously, Jose responded, “All thanks to the connection with Supreme’s Director Zhao, we’re somewhat of a family, so naturally, business goes to our own people if it fits.”

Carson’s eyes narrowed slightly, “The Baker family also has ties with Supreme Sky Corporation?”
