Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

Joshua Hughes looked at her nervous demeanor, his heart like a surface of water caressed by the wind, slowly rippling with wave after wave of emotion.

To be able to correct one’s mistakes is a virtue, but a small punishment as a big warning is necessary.

”It’s okay.”

In the room, the man’s low voice was as heavy as a rock pressing on her heart. Her hand remained frozen there, the smile lines at the man’s lips reflected in her crystal black eyes, causing an unprovoked tingling sensation across her scalp.

Joshua watched her patiently, as if he were a discerning audience witnessing an actor’s clumsy performance.

Under the light, she looked at him helplessly, like a small pet that had done something wrong, her crystal black eyes dazed as if they could almost shed tears.

Joshua reached out to embrace her slender waist, his handsome face exuding immense wickedness: ”Such fine wine, we should enjoy it together...”

If that pill were poison, he would accept it, for at this moment he wanted nothing more than to kiss her until the arrival of death.

Her face was like the delicate white pear flowers gently trembling on a spring branch, and the man downed his glass of red wine, his long fingers hooking her delicate chin, his curved, sharp, and sensual thin lips pressing against her full cherry lips, the unique aroma and intoxicating taste of the red wine flooding into both their mouths...

She could not resist, as the ruby-like liquid slowly poured into Avery Jane’s throat.

Joshua pushed the wine into her mouth, savoring her sweet fragrance, her taste more alluring than any expensive wine in the world.

Perhaps due to nervousness, perhaps due to fear, the lashes of the woman in his arms quivered like a feather fan, her soft body in his embrace making his arms tighten even more.

A glass of red wine, completely consumed by the two of them.

”Second Young Master, the Eldest Young Master fell asleep in the private room, and Miss Jane who came along returned to her room to sleep by herself. Should we still expect the surprise tonight?”

The manager, following Joshua Hughes’ instructions, reported solemnly.

But why say so?

The Eldest Young Master was clearly in the private room, having instructed not to be disturbed. The world of the wealthy was something they truly did not understand.

But following orders was essential.

There were still many things to deal with tonight, so no room for a sleep.

”Got it.” Luis Hughes’ eyes carried a smile, not expecting it to be so simple. He originally thought once Joshua finished the bottle of wine and fell asleep, he would play with his new pet, his woman, right in front of him, to avenge this grudge. How exciting it would be.

But since he fell asleep, he might as well consider himself lucky.

Now was the time to savor the delicacies properly.

In the room without lights, his hand couldn’t see through the darkness. Thick velvet curtains blocked the faint moonlight as the man quietly approached the bed, reaching out to find the warmth of the woman’s body under the covers, igniting a surge of heat in him.

Evelyn held her breath, her heart pounding rapidly, the man by the bed discarded his clothes onto the carpet, and thinking of Joshua Hughes’ robust figure made her heart flutter uncontrollably. The covers were pulled back, and the man’s body pressed down upon hers...

What a wanton woman, Luis sneered. He wondered how delicious Joshua’s woman would be, but she was just like any other woman, only because she was Joshua’s woman did he want to play her hard to vent this anger.

He wanted to see what expression Eldest Young Master Hughes would wear on his face the following morning?

Avery would never have thought she could have shared that glass of wine with Joshua Hughes, not knowing what would happen. Boundless fear engulfed her, the most terrifying thing was the heat slowly rising deep within her body, like a moist tide overwhelming her, wave after wave, impossible to resist.

Joshua held Avery Jane on his lap, gently trailing over her glowing skin, sending shivers through her.

”Avery, what are you thinking about? Thinking of me?”

His low words pierced through her eardrums, her heart seemingly reversing its blood flow, even breathing felt slightly difficult. She wanted him to caress her as he used to, but couldn’t voice it, her watery eyes looking at him, silently biting her lips.

Poor little thing, that kind of drug had little effect on him, becoming the Hughes family head was not nearly as easy as outsiders thought. He had undergone professional training, already resistant to those types of psychoactive drugs, and he had only drunk a small amount. Most of it went into this little woman’s stomach, tonight he wanted to see how she’d fare.

Although she tried to stop him in the end, which made him slightly pleased, she needed a proper punishment. Otherwise, wouldn’t her courage only grow larger in the future?

Sitting on his lap, her body uncontrollably rubbed lightly against him.

She felt so uncomfortable, why was it like this, with the fire inside her blazing even hotter...

In different rooms, with different people and things...

Before dawn, Luis put on his clothes and left without hesitation. This woman seemed okay, satisfying enough, not as delicious as he imagined.

Truly cheap, it seemed his elder brother wasn’t that impressive either, otherwise why would his woman be so eager?

Watching the woman under the covers, who seemed unable to move again like a dead dog, yet obedient. No matter how he wanted to play her, she dared not resist, an insidious smile curled at the corner of his mouth as he left without a trace of reluctance.

Morning light slowly seeped through the curtains, Joshua’s deep eyes watching the little beauty on the bed who had already fallen into a deep slumber.

Avery Jane was a surprise, every time he made love to her, she always left him with endless aftertaste, yesterday made him utterly insane, her shy yet proactive responses driving him almost to the point of losing control.

Arthur Yates, the old fox of the Yates Family, the drug even had hypnotic components, he found the pill bottle in her pocket and had the doctor examine it carefully. The drug was indeed potent and could cause people to forget what had happened, or just leave them with vague, dream-like memories.

Arthur knew the consequences of setting a trap for him and didn’t want him to realize it either.

A laughable matter, but a stroke of luck for him to thoroughly enjoy such a delight last night.

His slender fingers slowly traced over her beautiful back, gradually moving downward, until they reached the dimples on her waist, gently massaging them. This spot was her most sensitive, a mere touch prompting a reaction. As expected, the person in slumber murmured faintly, instinctively turning around to snuggle into his embrace, eagerly pressing closer, searching for warmth.

He hadn’t turned on the heat because she feared the cold; only this way would she always cling closely to him for warmth, giving him the sense that she needed him very much.

Arms tender like pink lotus roots wrapped around his waist, her cherry lips almost pressed against his chest.

Joshua inhaled sharply, nearly wanting to pin her down once more, but he knew she was utterly exhausted, likely unable to wake up before afternoon.

Although he expended his effort and felt satisfied yesterday, he couldn’t sleep, only wanting to watch her sweet and alluring demeanor until dawn broke.

Each time more than the last, he was increasingly reluctant to let go of Avery Jane...
