Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

She was truly drained by him.

Joshua Hughes looked at her weary little face with satisfaction, bearing the glow of love and indulgence.

After yesterday, something within her was slowly transforming, from a pure and innocent girl, into a woman of captivating allure that could drive men crazy.

In awe of the beauty of her body, it seemed he wanted to hold her like this, unwilling to let go as if he had acquired a rare treasure.

This woman is a fool; she cared about the Yates Family, yet Arthur Yates, that old fox, sold her out thoroughly.

The seemingly solemn patriarch of the Yates Family collaborated with him to orchestrate a wife-swapping drama, forcing Avery Jane into a corner, allowing him to claim her effortlessly.

If this little woman knew all of this, she would be heartbroken.

Her powerless eyelashes fluttered gently; this kind of hot spring is the best for alleviating muscle soreness, yet after experiencing such intense affairs from last night until now, soaking in such a hot spring might be unbearable for her.

He pulled down the bath towel to cover their intertwined bodies, then with a wave of his hand, the elderly woman in the garden had already prepared various exquisite foods and brought them up on a large tray.

The Western spread included truffle foie gras with small rolls, evenly sliced roasted Wagyu beef, duck rolls, caviar worth more than gold, along with several Chinese snacks: golden pan-fried dumplings, fluffy and delicious steamed buns, and various fruits, all in small portions but with many varieties.

There was also a cup of coffee and a cup of hot tea.

”The young lady is physically weak now, can’t handle coffee, so I’ve prepared tea.”

The strange old servant said the strange remark and then vanished in the courtyard as if by magic.

”Avery Jane, get up and eat something first.”

Her dazed and sleepy appearance made him feel affection, truly a delightful little creature.

The aroma of the food stimulated Avery Jane’s nerves; her stomach was so hungry it felt nauseous, after such intense exercise, every calorie in her body had been burned away.

The fragrance of the tea made her unable to resist trying to lift her sore hands, Joshua Hughes laughed lowly, her back pressed against his chest, feeling the vibrations of his chest.

She did not manage to reach the tea, but someone had already brought it to her lips.

Avery Jane drank eagerly, like a parched traveler walking through a desert, the warm liquid entered her throat, flowing into her stomach, and she currently felt much more comfortable.

Joshua Hughes wrapped one arm around her waist, took the tray with the other hand, and had it stably floating on the water surface: ”Eat.”

He softly spoke against her ear.

When faced with hunger, talks of ambition or dignity are pure nonsense.

She had already sold herself, so she must watch him fulfill every promise he made.

Avery Jane reached for the silver fork and began to eat.

”Feed me.”

Joshua Hughes’s voice was deep and husky, casting a commanding gaze upon her.

”Or do you have a better suggestion, hmm?” He teased maliciously against her legs, scaring Avery Jane white.

She quickly took the tray, using the fork to feed him.

Her fingers, snowy white like orchid, were so beautiful that one couldn’t bear to look away.

”Use your hands.” His intent was unmistakably clear.

Avery Jane dared not provoke him at this moment, the morning’s lesson nearly cost her life.

Using her fingers, she took the remaining food from the tray and delivered it to his mouth.

His lips were stunningly beautiful, thin yet distinctly defined.

His lips parted, consuming the delicacy from her hand, but showed no intention of letting go, gently sucking on her soft fingers, using his tongue to clean off the remnants of food one by one.

His eyes stared unblinkingly at her flushed little face, observing her helplessness.

”From now on, you will live here, understand?”

Seeing her face full of reluctance, perhaps a different woman would’ve been overjoyed.

Yet she was just so unhappy, staying by his side for an extra second seemed to shorten her life.

”I have my job, and I...” Avery Jane’s words were cut off forcefully by Joshua Hughes.

”You can work if you want, I’ll give you M.C Headquarters. You don’t need to worry about the Yates Family, I have arranged everything; you won’t be returning for now.” He knew what she wanted to say, but had no patience to listen to her make excuses.
