Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 844:- The Last Dance [ii]

Everything around him changed to completely dark for a second. ”What is this place?” A second later, he found himself back. He saw Adityaʼs body was pulled towards the Goddess of Nature. ”Trying to save your lover, huh.....? I wonʼt let you!!!” He created an ice spear and threw it towards Riya. The ice spear flew towards Riya, but then it changed its direction midway and pierced his own stomach. ”What....!!!”

Robert looked at his own stomach before he realized something. ”This feels like an illusion but itʼs not....!!” As he understood where he was, everything around him cracked. The whole around around him began to crack. Following the larges, countless small cracks appeared all around him. Shatter....!!!

Everything shattered completely. When he opened his eyes, he was back from the spiritual world.

Robert had known about the Spiritual world as a Hero from his clan could bring people to the Spiritual world. Having knowledge about what he was facing helped him escape the Spiritual world. ”I thought you could hold him for 8 to 10 seconds,” Lilith asked, seeing Robert opening his eyes. ”That was before he went through this crazy transformation.” His power has skyrocketed. Robert would have opened his eyes two seconds earlier if he realized where he was. Rin cleverly made it appear like he was back in the real world. Unfortunately, that only brought her an extra two seconds. ”It looks like we will have to do this the old way.” Opening his eyes, he found the Goddess of Nature healing Aditya. A deep green Aura surrounded both of them. ”Like I said, I wonʼt let you!!!” Robert was about to rush towards Riya when he felt a powerful force firmly holding him in one space.

It was like an invisible hand holding him. But that only held him for a second before he regained control using Gravity Manipulation. Just as he prepared to charge, a giant crimson flame meteorite suddenly descended from the sky. Its glow illuminated the entire area, casting an eerie light around him. The meteorite was approximately the size of a 10-meter boulder.

It took him one glance to know that this was nothing but an illusion. ”Pathetic!!!” He waved his hand. A wave of blue mist came out of his body and spread out. The blue mist instantly cleared the Crimson flame meteorite. Just as he was done with this, hundreds of green energy spheres hit him from behind.

Bang...!!!!

Amelia was about to fire another powerful green sphere when, out of nowhere, an ice spike rose from the ground and pierced her stomach. ”Mom....!!” Riya did not leave Aditya. She looked at his wound, especially the large hole in his chest. Her healing speed wasnʼt fast enough. She had already fed him a 5-star healing pill. She put the Dragon Grass extract in her mouth and then fed him using her own mouth. ”Finally done!!!” At that moment, Luna came out of hiding with a dagger. Robert sensed her presence and stopped her with Gravity Manipulation. He increased her gravity.

This caused her to fall to her knees. Swoosh!!!!

But using this chance, a bunch of green roots came out of the ground and wrapped around Robert. The roots began to drain his Mana. ”Damn woman!!!” Robert glared at Amelia. Amelia returned the glare with a smirk. Blood was rolling from the corner of her mouth. ”I will Kill you!!!” Sasha came out of the shadows and charged towards Robert. ”Dammit, this wasnʼt how things were supposed to go!!!” Lilith also had to follow Sasha and come out of the shadow. Sasha seems to have lost her sense of reasoning; her only thought was to kill Robert.

Robert threw his ice spear aiming for Sashaʼs stomach. The spear moved too fast for Lilith and Sasha to dodge or stop the attack.

Just as the spear was about to pierce her stomach, an invisible force stopped the spear. The spear stopped right before her stomach. The spear flipped and fired towards Robert. ”Damn you!!!!!” Robert was panicking because he was running out of time. Once the Dragon Monarch healed, he would have to fight him. This would mean he would fail to do any serious damage to the Istarin Empire. Robert was about to grab his own spear when suddenly something pulled him. His eyes rolled back. This time, he felt himself being pulled into the Spiritual world. But he resisted the pull and managed to regain control. But that split second was enough. ”This is for Aditya...!!!” Gritting her teeth, she drove her poison-coated dagger into his chest. Lilith was about to do the same when Robert snapped his eyes open and increased the gravity of his surroundings. Boooooooom...!!!

Luna, Sasha, Rin, Lilith, and Amelia all fell to their knees due to the increased gravity. At first, Rin tried to resist her powers, but as he kept increasing the gravity, she was unable to do anything. Crack....!!!

The ground beneath Robert cracked. A hand came out of the ground. But he stepped his foot on the hand and pinned it to the ground. ”Now....!!” Rinʼs yell attracted his attention. He felt something coming from the top. It was Amber. Like a ray of light, she was descending from the sky. Rin was also using her Telekinesis to increase her descending speed. Rin is the only one among the girls who can still manipulate her Mana, even under gravity suppression. Before he could understand the whole situation, the arm that he crushed with his foot exploded. Bang....!!!

The current Robert took zero damage from this explosion. But it achieved its purpose by managing to distract him. The gravity suppression in the surrounding area disappeared. This further accelerated Amberʼs descending speed. Just when Amber was a meter away from Robert, Victoria came out of the ground and managed to stab him from behind.

But Robert did not react to the stab. He instead grabbed Amberʼs 4-star dagger with his left palm.

He closed his fist and broke the dagger-like it was a fragile piece of glass.

”I am fed up!!!” Finally, all the annoying flies were in one place. The girls tried to attack him. Rin tried to distract him by forcefully pulling him into the spiritual world, but this time, her attempt did not even work. Her telekinesis was also useless against his gravity. Dodging Lilithʼs attack, he sent her flying with a punch. Before he could react, hundreds of roots wrapped around his entire body and completely covered him. The roots began rapidly draining his Mana. Robert did not try to escape. Bang...!!!!

The weapon from Victoriaʼs hand fell to the ground. She touched the thick ice spike that just pierced her stomach. Cough...!!!

It wasnʼt just her. Sasha, Lilith, Amelia, Rin, Luna, and Amber were all here, pierced by a thick ice spike. The ice spikes were wide enough to leave an open palm-sized hole in their stomachs. ”Everyone...!!” Riya wanted to rush there and help them, but she did not leave Aditya. Thanks to the combined effort from her healing, 5-star Healing pill, and the liquid of Dragon grass, all the holes, including the large hole in his chest, had closed. Adityaʼs Aura had become stable. His Aura no longer flickered like a weak candle flame in a storm. ”Aditya, only you can stop this monster. Please wake up!!” Her eyes were filled with tears seeing everyone whom she cared for in such a condition. ”If you do not open your eyes now, then everyone is going to die.” •••

Scene Change______

”Where am I?” Aditya found himself floating in a dark void. He was completely naked. ”Isaac, I believe this is the first time we are meeting each other.” Isaac was Adityaʼs name in his previous life. But he had long abandoned that name since he came to this world. Right now, he was Aditya. So a voice that sounded like his called his previous lifeʼs name; Aditya was shocked and also startled. Aditya saw someone who looked exactly like him appear in the void. He was also naked. But that wasnʼt important at this moment. What was important was the fact that this young man looked exactly like Aditya. He sounded like him as well. ”Who are you?” Aditya, rather, Isaac became very cautious. ”I am Aditya!!” The Second Aditya said with a smile. ”Right now, you can say that I am a representation of the original Aditya.” Hearing this, Aditya (Isaac) opened his mouth, but the Second Aditya stopped him by shaking his head and continued.

”Itʼs not important who you are or who I am.” With a gentle smile, the Second Aditya continued. ”To put it simply, I am you, and youʼre me!!” Once he confirmed that this Aditya meant no harm, he lowered his guard. ”How is this even possible?” Aditya (Isaac) was confused. ”And where am I?” He asked while looking around. ”Right now, we are in a place in our soul. We were able to have this much-needed meeting only because you came this close to death. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for us to meet.” The Second Aditya replied. Aditya (Isaac) finally calmed down. ”What do you want?” His tone was neither friendly nor hostile. He just sounded curious. What did this Aditya want?

”I want nothing, but it seems you have some doubts in your mind.” Hearing this, Aditya (Isaac) ʼs expression slightly changed. He panicked and averted his eyes. ”I donʼt know what youʼre talking about?” He said while looking away. Seeing this, the original Aditya chuckled. ”There is no need to be shy. Just be honest with me. After all, I am you, and youʼre me.” ”Like I said, I donʼt know what youʼre talking about.” This time, Aditya (Isaac) sounded angry.

”Trying to dodge the conversation....!!” ”Why lie to yourself?” The original Aditya asked with a soft smile. ”I never lied to myself.” Aditya (Isaac) protested, but he knew that there was some truth in his words. ”Alright, let me help. Or rather, let me help myself.” ”When you came to this world, our memories merged.” ”But this isnʼt as simple as it looked.” This caused Aditya to frown. ”With our memories, other things also merged. The emotions that we both had in our memories also got merged.”

”You may not realize it, but if you reflect back, this is indeed the case.” ”You did not just take over this body, Aditya!!” This was Adityaʼs biggest fear. When the original talked about this topic, Aditya (Isaac) felt very scared. ”Youʼre not a parasite who is inhabiting this body.” The original came close to Aditya and then hugged him. Aditya (Isaac) felt a warm sensation wrapping around him. ”That day, the system merged us together. We became one entity. This means the two lives of two worlds were merged.” Aditya felt deeply touched hearing this. He has been wanting to get an answer on this topic for a long time now. These words brought a strange sense of calmness and peace within his heart. It was like he could finally embrace this second life without any worries and doubts. ”What are you?” Aditya (Isaac) couldnʼt help but ask. ”As I said, I am you, and youʼre me.” ”I was born from the memories of the original Aditya.” So it was like he was talking to the original Aditya. Aditya noticed the originalʼs body was becoming more and more transparent. It was like he was going to fade at any given second now. ”Whatʼs happening?” He asked in a concerned tone. ”Nothing much!! I am out of time.” ”I have fulfilled my purpose.” The original Aditya said with a smile. ”Aditya, only you can stop this monster. Please wake up!!” ”If you do not open your eyes now, then everyone is going to die.” Aditya paused as he and the original heard Riyaʼs pleading words. The originalʼs smile brightened, hearing their voices. ”It looks like they need you.” ”Go, Aditya!!” ”Save them!!” ”They are your future.”

”No, they are our future!!” He corrected himself. Because they are one entity, not two separate entities.

”Those girls are our source of happiness.” Both of them smiled at each other and nodded their heads.
