Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 843:- The Last Dance [i]

Everyone in the Dragon Palace cheered when they saw the black sword had pierced Robertʼs heart. ”This is the end!!!” ”Finally, the battle is over!!” ”This is the end of the war!!!” The girls looked very relieved.

Especially Alicia and Julia looked very relieved. The girls were very nervous the moment the ice spikes hit Aditya. Since then, they felt like someone was squeezing their hearts. For the first time, they felt this much fear. Robert wasnʼt like any other opponent that he had faced. He was different. He was more threatening.

He perfectly countered Adityaʼs attacks. He is the only opponent who makes them doubt if their husband is going to win. ”This is the end of Robert!!!” This attack completely erased their worries. But their happiness did not last long. It only lasted a few seconds before they saw something that instantly changed their expressions. Bang.....!!!

Aditya was on his knees in front of Robert. His entire body had holes of various shapes and sizes. But the largest of them was the hole in his chest. The hole took out his original heart, and if the hole was just a few inches bigger, then it would have damaged his Blackheart, which would have ended his life immediately. ”You were so strong that despite all the obstacles I placed in your path, you still managed to pierce my heart twice.” Robert admired Aditya. Aditya surpassed all of his previous opponents. ”But, Aditya, are you already done?” Robert asked him in a weak tone. ”Or do you still have some left within you?” Hearing his, Aditya did not respond. Rather, he could not respond.

He had bled too much. His mind wasnʼt responding to his senses. He felt his body was getting lighter and colder with every passing second.

His Blackheart also started to slow down. The whole battlefield was silent. Even the Crimson Lightning bolts in the dark clouds with Aditya seem to have lost their power. The lightning bolts slowly started losing their color and decreasing in number. With each second, Adityaʼs body was growing colder. His breathing was slowing down. ”Nooo....!!!” Laraʼs eyes rolled back. Seeing him in this condition, she fainted. ”This isnʼt real!!” ”My husband cannot be defeated.” ”This must be an illusion!!!” ”Julia.....!!” Sophia tried to calm her daughter. Even though, she too was very sad at this moment, but her first priority was to calm her daughter. ”How did Spencer do this?” ”When he returns, I have to teach him a lesson.” As she spoke, her hands were shaking. Even deep within herself, she knew the truth but her brain just refused to accept the reality before her. ”Julia...!!!”

This time, Sophia called her daughter loudly. Julia looked at her mom. She gently held her daughterʼs palm and tried her best to comfort her. Sophiaʼs eyes softened. There was a sadness in her eyes. ”This is the reality!!!” ”What happened before our eyes is real.” ”No....!!” ”No.....!!”

She stepped back and shook her head, tears filling her eyes. Meanwhile, No words came out of Aliciaʼs mouth.

She did not blink. She just blankly stared at the transparent screen showing Adityaʼs injured body. There was no reaction on her face. Her eyes looked completely blank. She sat completely still. Seeing her reaction, her moms felt very worried about her. They had never seen Aliciaʼs eyes looking this hallow. It was like a part of herself had died at that moment. Sob.....!!

”Big brother....!!!”

Tears kept flowing down her eyes non-stop. To Clara, she had two big brothers.

One was her first big brother, Aditya, and the second one was her brother, Leo.

As the youngest sibling, she received their love. Despite not being biological siblings, Aditya loved and çared for them as his own siblings. He treated them like they were his family. Clara loved this big brother who gave them so much without asking for anything in return. Now, seeing him on the verge of death, she felt like she was once again going to lose a very important person in her life. It was seeing her parents die all over again. Aditya wasnʼt just her big brother. To Leo and her, he was more like a parental figure.

When needed, he was like their parent. When needed, he was their friend. When needed, he was that strong big brother who did not let them worry about anything. Riyaʼs whole body began to tremble.

She felt her knees weaken, and she fell to the ground.

At the same time, the Goddess of Nature felt her chest tightening to the point where she found it difficult to breathe. Her face became pale. Due to the emotional turmoil of the Goddess of Nature, the entire Beast Continent was thrown into chaos. Dark clouds gathered swiftly and spread like a thick blanket across the sky blocking out the sun.

The wind became wild. The wind was howling from every direction with a ferocity that bent trees and ripped leaves from their branches.

The once-clear blue ocean surrounding the continent darkened. The ocean surface became restless, with angry waves as if a great storm were moments away from breaking loose.

Dormant volcanoes erupted, releasing lava and thick ash into the air.

The ground shook with deep rumbles, cracking roads and rattling buildings.

In dense forests, animals scattered in a panicked frenzy as towering trees split and fell with loud crashes.

Rivers suddenly overflowed, flooding villages and sweeping away everything in their path.

The temperature shifted unpredictably—one moment, an icy chill spread through the land, and the next, an intense, dry heat made the air nearly unbearable.

All these chaotic changes made the people of the Beast Continent wonder if this was the day of the judgment. If the world was coming to an end. ”I will kill you!!” ”I will kill you..!!” ”I will kill you.....!!” ”Kill you....!!”

”KILL YOU....!!”

The Goddess of Lust angrily roared as her killing intent surged out of her body like an uncontrollable wave. The calm and silent Goddess was roaring in anger because of what happened to her man. ”Sasha, calm down!!!” Lilith was also very sad, but she prevented her daughter from recklessly charging towards Robert. She did not want to lose her daughter, either. Victoria felt as if her entire being had gone cold.

Numbness seeped into her bones, stealing her breath. It robbed her of any sense of time or place.

She couldnʼt move; she couldnʼt scream.

Her eyes were wide, locked on the horror, but her mind refused to accept what they saw.

Everything around her faded into silence and a void where nothing existed but that image of Aditya getting impaled by many ice spikes.

Amber, on the other hand, seemed frozen in time.

Her body stood still as if carved from stone. She was unable to take a step forward or even reach out in shock.

Her lips parted as if to speak, but no sound came.

”Why are you girls wasting time?” Hearing the voice, everyone looked at Rin. ”We still have some time. We can save him.” Her eyes were red, indicating that she had shed a few tears. ”He is not dead!!” As a Divine Dragon, she could sense his Aura better than anyone else. ”Exactly!! We cannot give up like this!!” Amelia supported Rin. She hides her pain. Seeing him like this made her feel like she had lost something very precious to her. Amelia knew that if Aditya died, then she would lose her daughter as well. Due to the contract, if Aditya were to die, then all 7 Goddesses would die with him. ”Riya, we will need your powers to heal him.” Riya wiped her left eye while standing up.

”Here is the plan!!”

”I will pull Robertʼs mind into my Spiritual world. Since I am doing this forcefully, I can only keep him inside the spiritual world for about 8 to 10 seconds.” Hearing this, everyoneʼs eyes lit up. ”So you all have 8 to 10 seconds.” ”Riya, you should be able to feel his life force better than anyone here.” Riya nodded her head. This is why her reaction was so intense because she could feel him dying with each passing second. Aditya was dangerously close to passing away. ”Use his heart with everything you have. Also, feed him all the 5-star Healing pills you have.” They had less than 10 seconds. If they were too late, then he would die. ”As for the rest of us, we will focus on making sure that we stop Robert.”

•••

Sigh....!!!

Robert felt Adityaʼs Aura. It had become 10 times weaker than the flame of a candle. The flame that represented his life would flicker out at any given second now. ”Dragon King, in the end, you lost!!” ”But this is the end for me as well.” Robert looked at his chest. He was beyond saving now. ”But before I pass away, I am going to use whatever seconds I have left to destroy the Istarin Empire.”

”This is a heartfelt favor I am granting to my partner as I cherish our time together before my journey concludes. Also, I feel guilty for dragging his Empire into this mess. If I die, then your Empire will destroy the Dune Sovereignty, so to prevent that, I will go all out.” Since he was going to die anyway, it was better to use his last skill. It was a skill that would cost him his life. ”Even I did know that I had this soft side in me.” Robert chuckled at himself. ”This is another skill that I obtained from a doctorʼs experiment.” 『Eternal Anti-Dragon!!!』

Boooooooooom.....!!!

Aditya was blown away by the shockwave that was generated by the sudden rise in his Aura. Adityaʼs body rolled for a few meters before coming to a stop. His body was glowing with a bright blue light. Robertʼs appearance once again changed. This time, a black mask that was inverted triangle-shaped covered his face. The mask wasnʼt something that could be covered. The mask was attached to his face. The ice spear on his hand shorted half in size. But the spear now looked more violent than before. His white outfit disappeared. It was replaced with a black Kimono with a red belt tied around his waist. As he transformed, everything within a radius of 10,000 meters was covered in ice. A wave of ice energy spread, covering everything in a thick layer. At the same time, snow started falling from the sky. For the first time in its history, the Beast Continent saw snow. Meanwhile, a black came out of the ground and gently wrapped around his body.

The root pulled Aditya towards Riya. ”Annoying!!!”

Robert notices this and is about to stop the girls when he is pulled into a strange world. Everything around him changed to completely dark for a second. ”What is this place?” A second later, he found himself back. He saw Adityaʼs body was pulled towards the Goddess of Nature. ”Trying to save your lover, huh.....? I wonʼt let you!!!” He created an ice spear and threw it towards Riya. The ice spear flew towards Riya, but then it changed its direction midway and pierced his own stomach. ”What....!!!”
