Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 840:- Aditya vs Robert [V]; Reversal

”What...!!!” Seeing this, Robert was both stunned and shocked. Although he felt the black sword heading towards him, he even tried to use gravity suppression, but unfortunately, it was already too late. Even with a 1.5 times gravity increase on Adityaʼs body, it wasnʼt enough to stop him. Bang...!!!

In that less than one-second frame, the black sword managed to pierce his heart. Cough...!!!

Robert saw the tip of the black sword coming out of his chest. At the same time, he violently coughed out lots of blood. ”Yes...!!” Julia stood up and raised her hands in the air in excitement. She has never been this tense. ”Finally....!!!” Aliciaʼs reaction wasnʼt as strong as Juliaʼs, but she, too, was very relieved. This whole fight has been like a rollercoaster for everyone. This was the first time where they saw Aditya getting overwhelmed. Whatever he was trying didnʼt seem to work on Robert. At one point, it even looked like he was going to lose. When the dagger stabbed him, the girls felt their hearts nearly stopping. ”That should be enough to end the battle!!” ”But how did he even do it?” Olivia couldnʼt help but ask. ”Donʼt know!! None of us could follow their movement. For us, everything is instantaneous.” ”I believe Aditya tricked him using the Crimson flame.” The last thing that Julia saw was Crimson flame pillars around Robert. •••

Meanwhile, Riya, Sasha, and others were very happy seeing Robert cough out a lot of blood. ”He finally landed a clean hit!!” Lilith had been really worried about her man this whole fight. Unfortunately, she couldnʼt help him in any way. If she or anyone among them got too close, they would only become a burden to him. ”Is this the end?” There was a smile on the Goddess of Natureʼs face. ”I guess so...!!” But Rin did not sound too sure. Rather, she looked worried. She felt that something was wrong here. It was a gut feeling. She was the only one who still looked worried, as she could feel that something bad was about to happen. ”It is just as I suspected.” Robert heard Adityaʼs cold voice. ”You are not that sensitive to the space fabric around you. In fact, your sensitivity to the surrounding space fabric is so poor that you couldnʼt even sense when I used teleportation to switch my real self with one Crimson flame clone.” Hearing this, Robertʼs eyes widened in fear. ”From the beginning, you relied on your natural senses as a cultivator to know where I have teleported. But you never really predicted where I was going to teleport. This implies you are not that sensitive to the change in space fabric.” But Aditya was really sensitive. And this fight made him understand that. This fight helped him understand the concept behind his teleportation at a much deeper level. Robert realized that while he was distracted by crimson flames transforming into clones of Aditya, he had unknowingly teleported with one of them. The process happened so quickly that he didnʼt notice, and the pillars of flames obscured his view of Adityaʼs location. Also, since he couldnʼt sense the fabric of space, he couldnʼt tell when Aditya switched places with one of the flame clones.

He simply teleported to one of the Crimson clonesʼs places and, in his place, created another Crimson Flame clone. Previously, Aditya would be harmed by his own flames, but after reaching the fourth order, he mastered crimson lightning and flames, allowing him to immerse himself in them without injury.

Cough...!!!

Robert coughed out another mouthful of blood. His face looked pale. But instead of his Aura getting weaker, it remained the same. If anything, ever so slowly, his Aura was getting sharper and stronger. ”That was really good!!!” He looked at Aditya from the corner of his eyes. ”I expected nothing less from the Dragon Monarch.” Robert has heard of all the achievements that this has made in such a short time. He would have been deeply disappointed if a man like that had lost without injuring Robert. ”But I am not done yet!!” Aditya saw his grin and instantly felt alerted. He was about to get away when...!!

Bang.....!!!

In the next instant, several large ice spikes pierced his body. Gh....!!!

Before the ice spikes could do more damage, he disappeared along with his black sword. Everyone at the Dragon Palace and on the battlefield was celebrating their victory when they noticed that their Emperor had disappeared. He teleported a few hundred meters away from Robert. When he appeared, he wasnʼt standing. Rather, he stumbled and rolled on the ground a few times. He weakly held a big one-meter boulder next to him to stand up, but he struggled miserably. The smiles on the girlsʼ faces instantly froze.

Their eyes widened. They had looks of horror and disbelief on their faces. Some of their smiling faces completely froze.

Everyone was frozen like statues.

Their eyes couldnʼt believe what they were seeing.

They had never seen him in such a miserable condition.

It was horrible.

Just seeing him in this way made their hearts ache in pain.

It was very hard and painful to watch.

Drip!!!

Slowly, a tear rolled down Juliaʼs right cheek, and they fell to the ground.

At the same time, a drop of his blood fell on the soil.

It wasnʼt just a single drop of blood.

The boulder that he was weakly holding onto was immediately stained with his blood.

Haaah… haaah....!!!

Robert also fell to his knees.

”Ha...ha….!!”

Cough...!!!

While looking at Adityaʼs miserable condition, he began to laugh weakly. But while trying to laugh, more blood came out of his mouth.

”Surprise!!!”

At this moment, the girls never hated anyone more than Robert. They hated that arrogant smirk on that bastardʼs face. Their sadness slowly turned to anger.

Meanwhile, Adityaʼs vision had become really blurry. He could barely see anything, much less see Robert, who was a few hundred meters away.

His senses were distorted. His body was in so much pain that his mind barely registered any information from his senses. To him, Robertʼs words were another annoying and messy sound that his mind wasnʼt paying any attention to.

Just before the ice spikes hit him, he momentarily felt the fabric of space changing. But the attack came too fast, even for Aditya.

Robert manipulated the gravity to increase their force and speed as they erupted. These spikes shoot upward and pierce Aditya from below with added weight behind each one.

By the he reacted, he was already pierced by the Ice spikes. Unfortunately, before the ice spikes could leave too much damage or fill his body with hundreds of holes, he teleported.

The end result of this attack was there were three large holes in his body.

One of the holes was on his left thigh. The hole was so big that his thigh was barely connected to his lower left leg.

The second hole was on the left side of his lower stomach. There was a large open-fist-sized hole on his lower stomach.

And the third hole was on the right side of his rib; just below the place where the Black Heart was located. The hole was a few inches smaller than the two others but did the most damage.

The pain and the damage were so great that he felt his vision becoming blurred.

After teleporting, he immediately tried to stand up but failed miserably. His left leg simply did not have enough strength.

『Ding! Your Health point is dangerously dropping.』

『Ding! Your Health point is below 20% now and still dropping.』

『Ding! Your Health point is below 10% now and still dropping...』

『Ding! The system has identified that the Hostʼs life is at risk.』

『Ding! Your Health point is less than 5%.』

”Hahahaha!!!!” Robert somehow stood up and began laughing like a madman.

”I have won, Aditya!!”

”I have conquered the unbeatable Dragon Monarch.” He said it loudly as if he was announcing to the world that he was the victor. He had ended the reign of the Dragon Monarch.

The world had a new King, and it wasnʼt the Dragon Monarch.

Meanwhile, Riya and Amelia looked at him full of hatred. There was nothing gentle in their eyes. They hated this arrogant man more than anything in this world.

”I kill you…..!!” Riya kept murmuring the same sentence as her Aura became chaotic. Her emotions also affected the weather as the weather of their surrounding also changed.

Strong gusts of winds began blowing. In some parts of the central region, volcanos began erupting. Even the dormant volcanoes were erupting.

Strong waves began hitting the coast. Each wave seems to be bigger than the previous one.

Amelia, the normally very calm and collected woman, found herself unable to control her killing intent.

Just like her daughter, her aura also fluctuated. Her Aura was becoming more violent.

”I…..!!” He stopped as he once again coughed out a mouthful of blood.

Cough...!!

”You really came close!!” Robert wiped the blood from his lips while looking at Aditya. There was admiration and respect for his opponent.

”Given your current state, I know that you cannot hear me, but let me still reveal a few things about my abilities.”

”I used two passive abilities in this battle.”

”One is Snowball Momentum, and the other is Frost Terrain.” At the same time, hundreds of frost arrows began forming above his head. Ice in the shape of arrows was condensing right above his head.

”Snowball Momentum is a move that boosts the userʼs Attack and Speed each time they take damage from an opponent while hail (the skill) is active. The boost of Hail depends on how much damage the user takes from the opponentʼs attack. Once the hail ends, the boosts will disappear after a hundred and ten seconds. The Hail is active for five attacks after that; after that, the Hail will enter into a cooldown of 60 minutes.”

”You can probably realize by now that I let you hit me a few times so that I could boost my power and agility. The stronger the attack I receive, the greater my boost from Snowball Momentum.” Hearing this, everyone was once again shocked. This meant that every time Aditya landed a powerful attack on Robert, although he lost his health, his speed and agility also increased. ”No wonder Aditya failed to dodge the ice spikes.” It was so much clearer now. This explained everything. ”As for Frost Terrain, this skill is also similar to Snowball Momentum.” ”The Frost Terrain creates an icy terrain for five moves. This passive skill increases the power of Ice-type moves by 30% and also heals my body by a small amount each turn.” ”You must have felt your agility was decreased. It was because the Frost Terrain also decreases the Speed of non-Ice type cultivator.”

Hearing his words, everyone felt a chill running down their spine. Robert was the worst type of opponent that one could face. He didnʼt have to do anything in a fight. The stronger the opponent was, the stronger he became against them. Hearing this, some of the girls also realized that from the beginning, they never had any chance of defeating him. He was just toying with them so that Aditya would come out. Once Victoria and Amber realized this, they suddenly felt incredibly bitter. Both of them were already feeling useless as they couldnʼt help their King, but now, this feeling had only grown stronger. ”And finally, let me reveal the last and final ability of the Dragon Slayer skill.” While spreading his arms, he slowly flew up to the ground. At the same time, Adityaʼs eyes seem to have regained some focus. His eyes followed Robert. ”Itʼs called Instantaneous Healing!”

”Let me demonstrate!!”
