Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 825:- Beginning of Crimson Dunes Conflict

A massive army in black outfits appeared in front of the Istarin Empire.

The army was huge. When they appeared, the entire desert was covered in black. This was the army of the Dune Sovereignty Empire. For the first time in history, the Dune Sovereignty Empire deployed its entire army to a battlefield. The size of their army is 17 million. The Empire left barely one million troops to protect itself and brought the rest to the battlefield. And all of them were in black armor.

They held a black flag, and at the center of the flag, there was an inverted triangle within a circle. The inverted triangle and circle was in the color of red. This was the famous war flag that the Dune Soveregnity used in war.

Countless troops flew using magic mounts, and the number of troops flying in the air was very close to a million. Close to 5 million of their troops were riding Magic Mounts. There were various types of Magic mounts. Some were riding Wind Horses, Shadow Dire Wolves, Silver Wolves, Iron Bulls, Thunder Rams, and Storm Raptors. Raising magic mounts was a costly process. Magic mounts were basically magic animals that were captured out in the wild or hatched. Magic Mounts arenʼt just mounts but they are also a source of strength to the soldier. Magic mounts can provide various kinds of advantages on a battlefield using their powers. After a thousand years of breeding and careful selection, the Dune Sovereignty now had many kinds of Magic Mounts. However, only soldiers with special ranks or accomplishments can have Magic Mounts. Countless figures across the Main Continent, the Stardawn, and the Main Continent eagerly watched everything. This kind of conflict only occurs once in each era. The winner of this war will ultimately become the Next Big Thing. This kind of event cannot be missed. ”It seems the Dune Sovereignty has decided to go all out on us,” Spencer said with a wry smile. ”But it doesnʼt matter! ” Spencer said, raising his voice so that everyone on their side could hear him. ”We are the Istarin Empire.” ”Compared to them, our nation is like an infant. So what?” Spencer asked while glancing around. ”Remember all this nation has accomplishments within its short existence.” ”We have always faced opponents bigger than us. But every time, we overcame our fears and beat them all.” ”I want to ask you all a question. Are the soldiers of the Dragon Monarch cowardly?” ”No.....!!” As millions of troops answered in a loud tone, it generated a thunderous roar that reached the ears of the Dune Sovereignty troops. The loud thunderous sound made them feel a little bit intimidated. ”Thatʼs right!! We, the eternal soldiers of the Dragon Monarch, are not cowards.”

”It doesnʼt matter if one of you is against ten of them or 100 of them. It doesnʼt matter. Why? Because the army of the Dragon Monarch is not cowardly. Regardless of what happens, we will fight to the very end.”

Spencer slowly flew in the air as everyone raised their heads to look at him. ”This battle is personal to each and every one of you. IF WE LOSE TODAY, WE LOSE OUR BEAUTIFUL HOMES. WE WILL LOSE OUR FAMILY. WE WILL LOSE EVERYTHING THAT WE CARE ABOUT.” ”THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN HIGHER.” ”EVERYONE WILL EXPERIENCE DEATH ONE DAY. IT DOESNʼT MATTER WEATHER YOU LIVE ONE HUNDRED MILLION OR ONE BILLION YEARS. WHAT MATTERS IS HOW YOU LIVED YOUR LIFE.” ”IN MY EYES, LIVING ONE DAY AS A BRAVE MAN WITHOUT REGRETS IS MUCH BETTER THAN LIVING ONE HUNDRED MILLION YEARS AS A FREAKING COWARD.”

”NOW, I WANT TO ASK, WHO WANTS TO BECOME IMMORTAL WITH ME? WHO WANTS TO WRITE THEIR NAMES IN THE BOOKS OF HISTORY?” Spencerʼs words were increasing the morals of the soldiers. It definitely worked since every soldier felt their blood boiling from excitement and anticipation. ”If you all promise to shed blood in this war, then I will promise you victory.”

”One Day of Courage is Worth an Eternity of Glory!”

No one knows who said this sentence but within a few breaths, this sentence spread among everyone. All troops raised their weapons and started repeating this sentence in unison. [One Day of Courage is Worth an Eternity of Glory!]

Meanwhile, Robert heard what the troops on the other side were repeating. ”Hmph!!” He let out a cold and arrogant snort. ”This tactic might have worked against other opponents but it wonʼt work against us.”

”Raising their morale wonʼt help them today.” It was Robert who led the Dune Sovereignty Empireʼs troops on the battlefield Instead of Charles. Normally, it was either the Crown Prince Garrick or the Emperor who would lead the army.

But this time, it was neither Garrick nor Charles. This left many with questions. They wanted to know where their Crown Prince was in such an important event. ”Sir, we cannot spot the Dragon Monarch.” One of the archers came behind Robert and said in a low tone. ”Yeah!! I noticed as well.” Robert wasnʼt so worried. ”If the Dragon Monarch does not show up, then I will force him to come out of that bubble Palace of his.” Robert assumed that Aditya did not show up on the battlefield because he believed his troops could handle the Dune Sovereignty Empire.

”Once I start killing his precious generals and that Prime Minister, he will definitely show up in time.” Just the thought of fighting the Dragon Monarch to death excited him more than anything else. He couldnʼt stop grinning. Soon, the armies from both sides stopped about 2000 meters away. Between the armies of both sides, the barren ground stretched endlessly. The soil was dry and compact, scattered with small rocks and sparse, thorny bushes. The ground was a mix of hard, gritty earth and coarse gravel, cracked from years of sun exposure.

Robert silently observed the enemy side. Spencer and the other generals also did the same. ”Who is this tall woman?” Robert was looking at Victoria. He had never seen anyone like this in his life. Even during the demon invasion, he never saw anyone like Victoria. General Kael Durin happened to be behind Robert. ”Her name is Victoria. It is rumored that she is the strongest Dragonian. She might be even stronger than the generals.” ”Oh!! Now thatʼs interesting.” Robertʼs grin grew wider. ”Judging from her Aura, she might be able to put up a decent fight.” ”I guess, I wonʼt be bored until the real target shows up.”

As for Kael, he said nothing but continued to watch the enemy. Kael was specifically instructed to be by Robertʼs side and aid him with anything that he needed. Charles ultimately decided to remain at the capital of the Dune Sovereignty and watch everything using an artifact that Kael and a few other men were carrying with them. Charles can hear what they are saying. ”Sir, should we capture this woman?” Kael mistakenly assumed that Robert might have taken a romantic interest in Victoria. Robert shook his head. ”No need!! I only want to fight her. If the Dragon Monarch doesnʼt arrive in time, then she will lose her life.” As for having any romantic interest, the thought didnʼt even pass his mind. When a man becomes focused on an objective, nothing can distract him. And Robert saw women as nothing but a distraction. If he really needed to satisfy his urges, then once in a while, he could just sleep with a prostitute. ”Victoria, he is looking at you!!” Amber frowned, seeing Robert looking at Victoria. Unlike Aditya, who suppressed his Aura, this guy did not suppress his Aura. Anyone 5th-order cultivator can tell just how strong this guy was. ”Yeah!! This guy is the real trouble.” Victoria wasnʼt scared. In fact, she wanted to step forward and fight this man as well. ”Ladies, I hate to break it to you, but I donʼt think one of you could take him down.” Lilith, mysterious, appeared behind them and said in a low tone. Lilith even looked very serious. Robertʼs eyes fell on Lilith. This mysterious woman had hidden her face under a veil. He had a feeling that even the face under that veil was a disguise. ”Who is she?” ”She is one of the three women that fought by the Emperorʼs side to get the Dragon Grass,” Kael informed in a low tone. ”This Robert person is definitely on Adityaʼs level.” Lilith continued in a serious tone. ”Taking him alone is suicide.” ”We will need to cooperate and coordinate our attacks to take him down or to keep him busy until Aditya arrives.” ʼLittle Emperor, where are you? We really need you now.ʼ Lilith was hoping that Aditya would arrive. As the news of the war spread in every direction, Lilith and others were sure that the news would eventually reach his ears and he would immediately return. They were sure that he would return at any given second. ʼItʼs him!!ʼ Sasha looked at Robert and thought. These days, she kept having this nightmare where she was forced to fight this spear Hero. No matter what she does, every single time, she dies in his hand. ”Is something wrong?” Riya, who stood next to Sasha, asked. ”I saw this man in my dreams. I am always fighting him. But regardless of what I do, I can never defeat this man.” Sasha sounded conflicted. ”Well, he is clearly out of our league,” Riya said in a bitter tone. Even though she has been training for almost six months now, she is still way behind the others. ”I want to fight this woman!!”
