Chapter 835:- Crimson Sphere

After a while, the screaming from Charlesʼs bedroom stopped coming. Perphaps, Charles forgot to turn on the sound barrier around his bedroom, so whatever he was saying in his bedroom was heard by the servants. ”In times like this, I start to doubt myself. I ask myself whether I am doing the right thing.” Soraya looked bitter. She may never have received even 1% of the affection that Charles gave to Garrick, but that man was still her father. And seeing him like this was very hard. It made her doubt her own decision. ”My Lady, I believe you made the right choice.” The one who said it was her longest-serving maid, Liora. Soraya still looked conflicted. ”Please do not forget what you went through all these centuries. Since Madam Flameheart died, your life become extremely tough. There was even a point where you nearly chose to flee because you were so fed up with your current life.” The Princess slowly closed her eyes while leaning against the back of the couch. She didnʼt need her loyal maid to remind her what she had gone through. Soraya would never forget or forgive all the things that her father and brother put her through.

”Besides, itʼs not like youʼre doing anything wrong.” ”This whole war thing was His Majestyʼs doing. The original plan was never supposed to go this way.” These two sentences seem to have brought some relief to her heart. The guilt in her heart and the voices in her mind that created conflict and doubt started to disappear.

Sigh...!!!

”Youʼre right!!” Soraya sighed out loud. ”To be honest, I donʼt understand why my father just canʼt be satisfied with what he had.” ”The Dune Sovereignty wasnʼt smaller than the Istarin Empire. Our power, wealth, and status were just as high as the Istarin Empireʼs. Yet, still, my father wasnʼt satisfied. He wanted to more.” ”His ambition corrupted his character and ruined my brotherʼs life. Perphaps, if my father wasnʼt so greedy, then that foolish brother of mine wouldnʼt be rotting in prison right now.” ”Greed is a perilous thing. Greediness always leads to downfall.” Liora replied in a low tone. Soraya stayed silent for a few seconds.

Given how the Istarin Empire was acting, she could see that the Istarin Empire had no intention of crushing the Dune Sovereignty. Otherwise, the Empire wouldnʼt just give their soldiers the option to surrender. It was clear that the Empire had no intention of annexing their territories. It made sense. After all, the Empireʼs territory was already huge. It covered more than just one continent. Now, taking over their entire territory would burden them a lot. This meant that Soraya would end up becoming the next Ruler. She did not mind becoming the Ruler of Dune Sovereignty if she could make this Empire a better place for everyone. ”Given how amazing His Majestyʼs luck is with the Goddesses, I wouldnʼt be surprised if this woman turned out to be the Goddess of Music, who was rumored to be traveling around the world,” Soraya said with a smile. Liora looked at the red-haired woman. She was equally beautiful as the other Goddesses. Her Lady would not be outdone by this or any other Goddess when it comes to beauty.

”My Lady, I think for the future of the Dune Sovereignty, you should get engaged to His Majesty.”

”WHAT....!!!”

Sorayaʼs cheeks flushed red. ”That way, we would have a strong tie with the Istarin Empire.” This way, no one will challenge Sorayaʼs rule. After a few seconds, she calmed down and replied. ”If His Majesty had fewer women then I might have considered this possibility.”

”Besides, I have no interest in sharing my husband with anybody.”

Scene Change____

Rin landed on the ground while looking at Aditya and Robert. She silently stared at them for a few seconds; she was mainly observing Robert. Meanwhile, the girls approached her. Hearing the footsteps, she looked down. There were some familiar and unfamiliar faces in the coward. She has met some of them in the spiritual world. But before leaving, she made them forget her. Although the girls can remember meeting someone in a strange world, they do not remember what that dream was about or the face of the person.

”My name is Rin Tatsuki. Itʼs nice to meet you all.” Holding the sides of her dress, she politely bowed to the girls. ”So youʼre Rin. Itʼs nice to meet you, too. My name is Riya Tombrook. This is my mom, Amelia Tombrook.” She and her mom also politely bowed to Rin. Although they had never seen Rin, they knew her background. Others also followed and quickly introduced themselves. ”So, what did you do to them?” Sylvie asked, even though she could guess what she did. ”I can use my voice to control the minds of people. Only people with strong minds and wills can resist my voice.” This was one of her powers. ”My powers are somewhat like yours.” She said while looking at Sasha. From the way she spoke, it felt as if she knew Sasha. ”Excuse me, have we met before?” ”I have met you in the spiritual world.” Hearing this, Lilithʼs eyes lit up. Among everyone, she knew what the spiritual world was. ”But I donʼt remember meeting you.”

”Thatʼs because I did something which made you forget our meeting. Recently, you all must have had a dream where you met someone in a strange world but you cannot remember what you did in that dream or the face of the person whom you met.”

Hearing this, Sasha, Lilith, Amelia, and Riya looked like they realized something. But Sylvie couldnʼt recall anything. ”I donʼt recall having such a dream.” ”Thatʼs because I only met Adityaʼs women.” Hearing this, Sylvie pouted. She somehow felt offended. Meanwhile, Amberʼs gaze became complicated. Although Rin meant no harm, her words damaged her emotionally.

ʼNow, His Majesty has one more woman!!!ʼ Amber bit her lips and thought to herself. ”By the way, where are others?” She was asking about Lara, Julia, and Alicia. Those three were absent from the battlefield. Realizing who she was referring to, Lilith responded. ”Others stayed behind.” While everyone was talking to Rin, they heard a loud sound. They were fighting right above their heads. Both of them were about 300 to 400 meters above the sky. Bang...!!!

They noticed a 3-meter-long ice spear coming in their direction. This attack wasnʼt directed at the girls, rather, Aditya deflected the attack which caused the ice spear to change its direction. ”Watch out!!!” Others were about to attack when the Ice spear suddenly stopped in their path. It was as if some invisible hand grabbed the ice spear and stopped it in mid-air. The ice spear began to rotate at an extreme speed. The spear changed its direction. She saw an opening and fired the ice spear towards Robert. Meanwhile, Aditya dodged a vertical swing from the ice spear before charging towards Robert while creating a Crimson flame sphere on his palm. The Crimson Flame Sphere was spinning rapidly in multiple directions.

Robert swiftly pulled the spear and then targeted his legs. The sudden and precise strike aimed at his left knee forced him to change his direction. For a micro-second, Robert felt the space distorting. Within this time, Aditya disappeared and appeared from his side which was fully open. He wonʼt have any time to react if he is attacked from this side. Robert panicked, seeing the attack approaching him. But he grinned. The space was disrupted just as the attack was about to hit Robert. Aditya, who was a teleportation user, felt the disruption in the space around him. Suddenly, he found himself slowing down. The attack that already should have hit Robert took away more time. Robert used this chance to retreat. ʼSo this is Gravity....!!ʼ But he wasnʼt about to give up either. Suddenly, the crimson flame sphere that was spinning from all directions started to shrink in size. The space was once again distorted for a micro-second. Aditya was gone from Robertʼs vision. He sensed Aditya had teleported behind him. He once again tried to slow Aditya down. And it worked. The intense gravity on Aditya significantly slowed him down. ”Now, you cannot run anymore.” Adityaʼs expression did not change. Bang......!!!!

The Crimson Flame sphere that Aditya had shrunk hit Robert from behind. The attack managed to pierce his skin and managed to 2 inches deep hole in his back.

The attack returned gravity to normal, which was enough for Aditya to teleport directly in front of him with another Crimson flame sphere similar to the previous one. This time, he did not miss. There was no place for Robert to escape. The Crimson Flame sphere hit Robertʼs chest. This was a technique that Aditya developed. This special Crimson sphere ground against his chest. Ahh........!!!!
