Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 828:- Victoria vs Robert [II]; Desperation

Just as the two spears from two sides were about to collide, Victoria suddenly disappeared. She appeared behind Robert. While closing her right fist, as five rune circles glowed and spun around her wrist and forearm, she punched his spine with all of her powers. In their fight, she used the solar blessing of strength, which was a skill that kept increasing her strength. After a certain point, this skill gave her an additional [400+] increase in her strength. She also used the power of her black gauntlet, which further increased her strength by [250+].

She received a 50% boost from dragon transformation and Adityaʼs 25% stats.

Bang...!!!

Crack.....!!!

Robert did not even have time to react as he was teleported with Victoria. She did not give him any chance. She teleported him to the point where the two spears were about to collide. The spears had come so close that it was literally impossible for him to avoid the collision of two attacks. ”Enjoy that!!!”

Just as the spears were about to hit them, Victoria managed to escape using Crimson Wrap Flash. Just as she teleported to a different location, she heard a thunderous explosion sound. Booooooooooooooom.....!!!!

Suddenly, she felt very exhausted. Victoria fell to one knee and stared at the bright explosion that was happening in the sky. It was like seeing a big ball of fire explode in the sky. The explosion shook everything in the surroundings. The sound of the explosion was faintly heard by people who were at the very end of parts of the central region. ”Every 4th-order or higher-order cultivator uses Mana Shield to protect everyone.” Seeing the explosion, Spencer did not waste time and instructed everyone. Just the shockwave of this attack would result in the end of hundreds of thousands of their troops if they werenʼt careful. Kael from the Dune Sovereignty Empireʼs side also did the same. Fortunately, before their fight began, the armies from both sides had retreated to a safe distance. The explosion took place about 500 meters above the ground. By the time the shockwave spread to the armies, it had significantly weakened. ”Dammit!!! I shouldnʼt have trusted this bastard!!!” Seeing Robert being cornered by just one woman, Charles smashed the golden cup on the ground. His face and eyes turned red from anger.

”This bastard is nothing but a fraud!!!” If he had known that he was this weak, then he never would have agreed to wage war against the Istarin Empire. –

Meanwhile, on the battlefield,

”Are you alright?” Lilith appeared behind Victoria. ”I have used nearly 90% of my mana in that attack. It will take a while for me to recover my mana, even with the help of a 5-star Mana recovery pill.” ”What about your wound?” Lilith looked at her left shoulder. By now, the hole on her left shoulder had closed. ”I am fine now!!” ”At first, I wanted to accumulate and then return everything to him, but at the last second, I changed my mind. It turns out His Majestyʼs teleportation skill is more useful than I initially thought.” The more she used this skill, the more uses she found for this skill. ”Is he dead?” Amelia asked while walking towards them. Lilith rolled her eyes upon hearing this. It is as if the Elven Empress cannot sense Robertʼs aura. ”Are you seriously asking this silly question?” ”I thought my attack would at least injure him. But contrary to our expectations, it seems it has done the opposite.” Victoria looked at the man who slowly flew out of the smoke. ”Yeah!!” Lilith took out two daggers. ”Given how powerful his current Aura has become, we have no choice but to face him together.” Riya and Sasha appeared next to Victoria. The current Aura of Robert matched the Aura of the headed Hydra that Aditya faced around a month and a half back. ”No wonder King Charles launched a full-out invasion. He had this guy all along.” Amber was the last one to arrive.

”I will admit it. I am no match against his current form.” Even though she felt very bitter about admitting this. ”He has the power to single-handedly defeat our entire army if we donʼt hold him back until Aditya comes.” This is the reason why Lilith and others came together. There was no use in holding back anymore. ”What about their other 5th orders?” Amber asked in a concerned tone. ”Well, reinforcements from our allies are here. I can sense them. And with her, I am sure we can hold on.” Riya replied.

She could sense a group of powerful 5th-order cultivators flying in this direction. Not to mention, the Istarin Empire also had powerful 5th-order cultivators. Various Dragon warriors and Dragonians of the Istarin Empire have reached 5th-order. Many of the Peak 4th orders also had the ability to fight Beginner 5th orders. ”That hurt!!” Robert said while cracking his neck. His expression had become very cold. His eyes seem so cold that they could freeze an entire continent.

His appearance, along with his Aura, had changed. His hair had turned white. His skin became even paler than before. It was paler than the skin of some vampires. His outfit also changed. Previously, he was wearing a black outfit matching the color of the rest of the Dune Sovereignty. Now, his outfit was totally white. He was wearing a white kimono with a dark blue belt. On the left side of his chest, there were three golden stars. Each star was the same size and shape, perfectly aligned in a row.

On his left palm, he held his dark blue spear, the tip of which was light blue. The spear was pulsing with energy.

A white-blue energy seemed to originate from his palm, flowing steadily into the spear, enveloping it in a glowing aura. With each pulse, the energy surged through the spearʼs length in rhythmic waves, repeatedly expanding from his palm to the tip as if the weapon itself was alive, continuously breathing in this radiant power.

”So he has been holding back his powers!!!” Charles felt relieved and happy. At least, there was still some hope of their win. When he saw Robert in the center of that massive explosion, he had already given orders to his maids to pack everything. Once they lost, Charles knew that his days as the Emperor were over. It was just a matter of time before the Istarin Empire took over. Despite living 15000+ years, he wasnʼt ready to die. So, from the beginning, he plans to flee if Robert is defeated. In front of Aditya, nothing was going to work. All those fruits of advanced magic and research wonʼt be able to stop Aditya. He was ready to escape to the Main Continent. Currently, the Main Continent is the only place where the Dragon Monarch has less influence. Robert could settle in some remote corners of the Main Continent and slowly plan for his second rise. •••

”From the beginning, this was never going to be a solo, was it?” Robert asked in a cold tone. ”Who are you?” Lilith asked. ”If the Dune Sovereignty had you from the beginning, then King Charles would have declared war against us instead of playing games.”

”I do not work for Charles.” ”We are just joining hands to take down the Dragon Monarch.” Everyoneʼs expression changed when they heard this. No wonder Charles suddenly decided to wage war.

Everyone felt that the Dune Sovereignty Empireʼs sudden decision to wage war against the Istarin Empire was strange. This became even more strange given the fact that Aditya was the strongest cultivator in the six continents. He had defeated every single entity that stood in his path. Yet, they decided to fight against the undefeatable calamity.

But now it all made sense. ”My personal goal is to kill the Dragon Monarch.” Robert looked at Riya, Lilith, and others. ”Since he isnʼt here, then I will just have to force him to come.” Riya, who was quick to sense Auras, immediately noticed his Aura growing even stronger. ”Everyone, do not hold back!!!” ʼThis is bad!! This guy might be even stronger than that 9-headed Hydra.ʼ Riya still remembered the horror of facing the nine-headed Hydra. The 9-headed Hydra came very close to killing Aditya. If this guy was stronger than that monster, then she feared the worst might happen. The worst was a scenario that she did not dare to think or imagine. ”We will need to go all out!!!” Swoosh!!!

Everyone disappeared, leaving Victoria alone. Robert did not react seeing a large 10 meters big green energy sphere heading towards him. The energy sphere was constantly spinning inward and outward in a continuous, violent, circular motion. His expression did not change even when the sphere was about to hit him.

Suddenly, from the ground, thousands of thick tree roots came out and wrapped around his entire body, preventing him from moving. Also, from his right and left sides, he noticed two other attacks. From his right, a violent flame in the shape of a snake-like dragon was fired at him. And from his left, a black 10-meter big energy sphere was heading towards him. The black energy sphere was also constantly spinning inward and outward in a continuous, violent, circular motion. Despite all this, Robertʼs expression did not change at all. But suddenly, his expression slightly changed as he felt his Mana being absorbed by these tree roots. The moment he became distracted, all the attacks from three sides hit him. Boooooooom.......!!!

Robert would have sent flying if not for the thousands of roots holding him. ”Now....!!” Sasha mysteriously appeared behind him. ʼWhen did she...?ʼ He was startled to see her. ʼSo this was their plan?ʼ He ignored everything and swung his spear towards her. Sasha stared at the tip of the spear. The spear was moving faster than her own body. She could only helplessly watch as the spear approached her stomach. ʼIn the end, I wasnʼt able to avoid this outcome!!ʼ Every time in her dream, she died from his spear piercing her stomach. Now, this was about to happen in real life as well. Seeing this, Lilithʼs heart tightened. She wanted to rush towards Sasha and save her. ”No........!!”
