Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 826:- Powerful Illusion Artist

”I want to fight this woman!!” ”You all stay back!!” Robert was already walking forward. He had a massive grin on his face. ”But, sir!!” Kael looked very helpless.

”Stay back!!” This time, Robert said it in a stern tone. Not wanting to offend Robert, none of the five Generals or anyone else said anything. They just exchanged helpless gazes. If their Emperor Charles had been here, then perhaps they could have stopped him. What made them feel frustrated was the fact that a stranger who wasnʼt even in their military was leading them to the biggest war in their Empireʼs history. And now, he was taking all the spotlights for himself. ʼWhat was His Majesty thinking?ʼ Kael wondered in his mind. When he was informed that Robert would be the Commander leading them in this war, Kael nearly protested, but he stayed silent out of respect and fear towards the Emperor. ”Victoria, was it? Come at me!! Show me what you got.” Stepping forward, Robert openly challenged Victoria. Victoria was about to respond, but Lilith stopped her. ”Remember, this isnʼt a solo fight.” ”Donʼt try to fight a battle that you know you will lose.” Lilith had to remind her. After all, Victoria was also a battle maniac. Aditya wasnʼt here right now. They cannot afford to be reckless. Maybe just one mistake could cost them a lot. Victoria stopped and looked at Lilith. As their gazes met, both of them understood what the plan was. She just nodded her head and accepted Robertʼs challenge. ”I am Victoria!! I am the Knight of the Dragon Monarch.” ”And I accept your challenge!!!” Robertʼs grin widened as he looked at the tall woman walking towards him. ”Everyone move back!!” Knowing that the shockwave of two powerful Peak 5th-order cultivators would harm their lower-order soldiers, Spencer wanted everyone to retreat to a safe distance. Kael noticed this and also issued the same order. This wasnʼt the real war. But this was a very important battle. From the looks of it, this Victoria woman was their strongest cultivator. If Robert manages to kill or capture her, then their chances of winning this battle would increase. But if Sir Robert was to fall, then their chances of winning this battle would significantly drop. Compared to the Istarin Empire, the Dune Sovereignty was taking the bigger risk. This whole war was waged because Charles believed in Robertʼs strength. If he died, then it was the end. ”What is he doing?” Charles, who was watching everything in his Palace, wondered out loud. ”Besides, where is the Dragon Monarch?” Charles was sure that this whole invasion would be enough to bring Aditay out of the Dragon Palace. In every important war that the Istarin Empire has fought, Aditya always has led his troops. It can also be said that because of him, his troops never even needed to fight or die. He would usually end the war by himself. Before this invasion, Charles tried to find out what the Dragon Monarch was doing these days. However, getting information about the top forces in the Six Continents was easier than getting any private information about the Dragon Monarchʼs life. It wasnʼt just him, but also the lives of the people who are very close to him are shrouded in a thick fog of mystery. Until now, Charles had no idea who the two women under the veil were.

”Donʼt screw this up, Robert!!” Charles has never felt this stressed in his life. Charles took the gold glass cup filled with red wine from one of his maids. The maid was standing behind him. Today, her only job was to continue pouring wine. She did her job so efficiently that other than the sound of red wine pouring into the gold glass, no other sound came from her. It was like she did not even exist.

After drinking a few gulps, he wiped his mouth with his forearm. ”Bastard, because of you, I have gambled everything that I have. If you lose, then I will have nothing left.”

”I will lose whatever I earned after more than 15000+ years of hard work.” Just the thought of losing everything made his chest tighten. •••

Victoria walked towards Robert. Riya stood with others and silently watched everything.

”Riya, can you help her?” Lilith appeared behind her and asked in a very low tone. ”We cannot abide by the rules to win this fight.” Riya instantly understood and nodded. 『Blessing of Speed!!!』

Victoria paused as she suddenly felt her body getting lighter. There was no change in her Aura, nor there werenʼt any strange lights surrounding her. But she felt lighter than usual. ”I have increased her agility as much as I can!!” Riya murmured in a low tone. ”That would be enough!! Also, be ready to contribute in any way possible.” At that moment, Amelia, Sasha, and Amber also walked over. ”The very moment they notice that we are intervening in this fight, their generals and 5th-order cultivators will act and will try to stop us,” Lilith said while glancing at Kael and the other generals. Fortunately, the Dune Sovereignty had five Generals. The generals were the strongest among other Peak 5th-order cultivators. ”Whatʼs worrying is their overwhelming 5th-order cultivators,” Amelia added. Even if Cosmic Tide Alliance brought its every 5th-order cultivators, the number of 5th-order cultivators in the Dune Sovereignty would still be double.

Ameliaʼs words brought Lilith back to reality. She also understood the gravity of this whole situation. ”Thatʼs true!!” She said as a bitter smile appeared on her face. ”Once all the 5th-order cultivators are unleashed, then I donʼt think we would be able to hold on for much longer.” Even two of the greatest Assassins of the whole world would be able to stand in front of this many 5th-order cultivators. The number would be too overwhelming for them. Amelia glanced at Lilith before looking at the enemy. ”Our primary goal is to delay as much time as possible. So that other reinforcement can come.” ”I am sure Aditya will arrive on this battlefield. We just need to hold on.” Hearing this, every girl, even Lilith, nodded her head. There wasnʼt even a hint of doubt in their hearts and minds. He was going to come. As soon as the news reaches his ears, he will come. ”So, for now, letʼs wait and observe!!” ”If we see that Victoria is losing, we will intervene. When we step forward, have someone instruct our soldiers at the back to be prepared to fire the Solar cannons.”

Spencer was commanding others on what to do once the war began. He believed that at some point in their fight, troops from both sides would start to engage.

He left Robert to the girls. ”Once the full-blown war begins, our first priority should be to take down all the flying magic mounts. This would be the role of the flying ships.” Flying ships was one of the biggest advantages of the Istarin Empire. The appearance of the flying ships has made the Istarin Empire more dangerous in the air. ”I want the Dragonians and Dragon Warriors to focus on taking down the soldiers with magic mounts first.”

”And most importantly, cover each otherʼs backs all the time.”

••••

Victoria has never been more prouder in her life than this moment. For the first time, she was going to get the chance to show the world what the Knight of the Dragon Monarch was capable of. What the Strongest Dragonian can actually do. She was proud of the fact that she got the chance to represent the Istarin Empire in its most important war to this date. ʼYour Majesty, please watch over me!!ʼ

ʼIn this match, I may bleed, I may shed sweat, but I will never stain the flag of your Domain with shame.ʼ

ʼAs long as I am alive, I will never allow the name of your Empire to be stained with shame.ʼ

Swoosh!!!

The 6-foot-tall Dragonian appeared in front of Robert in a matter of seconds.

The black gauntlets that she wore glowed with 5 golden rune circles as she aimed to punch his face. Robert was surprised by how fast her attack had become. It was like the speed of her punch was increased by 70 to 80%. But he was still able to narrowly dodge the punch. As he dodged, another punch came in his path. This time, he grinned as he intended to grab her fist and punch her stomach. But as he was about to grab her wrist, her gauntlet was covered in spiky earth. Robert was again surprised. He changed his plan midway, shifted the weight on his body to the right, and dodged her attack entirely. Victoria followed with a few more punches and kicks which Robert comfortably dodged. ”Damn, he is fast!!” Riya said out loud. Even she could barely follow his movement. ”This is what makes him so dangerous.”

”Despite being a Peak 5th-order, he is way above normal 5th-order cultivators,” Sasha commented. ”These types of cultivators are called Calamity Class Cultivators,” Amelia explained. As for Lilith, she already knew of this special class. ”Victoria isnʼt your normal everyday Peak 5th-order cultivator, is she?” Amber fought her. She knew just how dangerous this woman was. While she had to give her all, Victoria did not even break a sweat in their spar. While Amber was really struggling, Victoria wasnʼt even giving her all. Fortunately, Victoria ended the spar with a draw and allowed Amber to save her face. ʼNow she is in the same situation, but in this case, her position is reversed.ʼ Although Amber couldnʼt follow their movements clearly, just like Riya, from what she had seen so far, it was clear that Robert was going easy on her, at least for now. ”She is a Calamity Class Cultivator, but even in the Calamity Class, there are huge gaps since the boundaries are not that defined well. There are some monsters that are capable of taking down even Peak 6th-order cultivators while being Peak 5th-order.” ”Letʼs just hope nothing happens to her!!” Riya said in a worried tone. She did not want Victoria to die. ”She wonʼt lose this easily!!”

”She still hasnʼt used the ability to borrow 25% of Adit....cough!! I mean His Majestyʼs stats and one of his innate skills.”

”Once this uses this, for 10 minutes, she will become even more powerful.” Other than, Victoria, Amber could also borrow this power. She was the second person whom Aditya selected. ”So you can also do this?” Amber just nodded. Amelia and Lilith were a little bit relieved. ”But who is the 3rd-person?” Riya asked. ”Itʼs my master!!” ”Oh!! That woman!!” Liilthʼs eyes instantly brightened. She wanted to bully her, but the situation did not allow her to leave the front line. ”Where is she?” Amelia asked while looking around. ”Sir Spencer is using her illusion abilities to inflict as much damage as possible on the enemies.” She was following Spencerʼs orders. ”But wait? I thought using this ability required one to have a drop of his Divine Blood?” Sasha asked. ”Before His Majesty left, he transformed her into a Dragonian.” Everyone was relieved to know that there was another powerful 5th-order cultivator on their side. ----------------
