Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 839:- Aditya vs Robert [IV]; Limitation

”So the third ability of this passive skill increases the magic attack powers by 300%.” Hearing this, Adityaʼs eyes widened. He was in clear shock and disbelief. The first thing that came to his mind after hearing this was Robert was lying. But then he realized there was truth in his words. Otherwise, how could he explain the huge damage that he received from that ice dagger attack? The attack instantly dropped his health by [- 390] points. ʼI strongly suspect that either the first or second ability of the Dragon Slayer skill reduces the power of my magic attacks by 80%.ʼ If this was really the case, then Aditya knew two of the three abilities of the Dragon Slayer skill. ʼMaybe the Dragon Slayer skill has 4th or even 5th ability.ʼ He really hoped that this wouldnʼt be the case. Robert was already too unpredictable and dangerous; if he had more abilities, then his chances of winning this battle would significantly decrease. ”Aditya, you have fought and defeated so many powerful figures in such a short span. But I am different.” Robert had a crazy smile on his face as he spread his arms. ”I am a force of nature that you can never control.”

”You can be the fastest cultivator and the best teleporter in the whole world, but facing me, your abilities mean nothing.” ”Youʼre playing on my territory. I rule everything!!!” ʼI can still stack one more attack. I should use this chance to at least seriously injure him.ʼ Although Robert sounded very arrogant, it did not mean that he was stupid. If given a single second of carelessness, Aditya had the power and ability to turn the tide of this entire battle in his favor. Hiss.....!!!

While Robert was thinking something, he was startled as he felt a heavy killing intent. When he looked at Aditya, his eyes widened for a second. ʼHow.... could someone have such a thick and heavy killing intent?ʼ A drop of sweat rolled down his forehead. When he looked at Aditya, he felt as if he was looking at a mountain of hundreds of millions of corpses. It was like the whole world had turned Crimson red from his killing intent. The wind had turned red, the sky above him looked red, the soil looked red, and even Aditya himself was surrounded by a heavy crimson-red bloodlust Aura. The heavy Killing intent coming from his body temporarily stopped all the artifacts that were allowing others to see this fight despite not being present anywhere near the battlefield.

『Ding! Bloodlust has triggered the fifth function of the Adamantite Doomblade.』

『Ding! Your sword has reacted to your Bloodlust.』

『Ding! Your physical strength has increased by [400+].』

ʼAlthough I did not have time to fix you, for now, even a damaged Blade is enough for me.ʼ Aditya thought while caressing his black sword. ”Using killing intent to intimidate me wonʼt work. I have fought in the Demon Invasion war. I have met people with more killing intent than you. What makes you think that I will be intimidated by your killing intent?”

ʼI refuse to believe your gravity manipulation doesnʼt have any limitation or weakness.ʼ Unbothered by the words that he was spouting, Aditya was thinking something else. Swoosh!!!!

Robert charged at Aditya. This time, Aditya did not charge at him but kept a very close eye on the change in the gravity around him. ʼThe gravity is changing.....!!ʼ Aditya felt the gravity of his surroundings was increasing. About a second later, he found that the gravity of his surroundings had increased by 3 times. Aditya did not wait to see how much the gravity was going to change the next second. Although it was a little hard for him he was able to manipulate the fabric of space to use Crimson Wrap Flash. Robert tried to attack him with his ice spear, but the attack completely missed as Aditya teleported the next second. Aditya teleported just outside of the area where Robert didnʼt manipulate gravity. ”With that thick killing intent, there is no hiding from me.” For someone like him, finding the source of the bloodlust was very easy. Even before he turned around, Aditya felt the gravity around him changing. Just like before, in one second, the gravity increased by 3 times. ”Found you!!!” His face was expressionless as he stared at Robertʼs eyes. The Void Walker class holder could feel the gravity around him rapidly increasing; the gravity on the caster himself had returned to normal. Robert decreased the weight of his body to make himself faster. But the moment he increased the gravity around his surroundings, Robertʼs body had returned to its normal weight. ”Not so fast!!” Seeing the smile on his face, Robert felt something was wrong. Booooom...!!!

A wave of Crimson flame engulfed him into it.

At the same time, a rainbow-colored lighting bolt hit him while he was still engulfed in Crimson flame. Booooom....!!!

While all of this was happening, Aditya withdrew his killing intent, which meant that the Bloodlust function had been deactivated for now. Robert was hit with two powerful attacks; despite the fact that the 80% power of his attacks was reduced due to the effect of his passive skill, the attacks were still enough to distract him. In this state, he couldnʼt maintain his gravity manipulation. ”Hahaha!! As if that was enough to kill me.” When he emerged out of the Crimson flame, nothing much had happened to him.

Just like before, there were a few second and first-degree burns and scratches around his body, but those wounds were already slowly healing. Just as he stepped out, several roaring pillars of crimson flame erupted from the ground around him, each one as wide as a raging river and soaring up to 10 meters high.

At the same time, Aditya teleported right behind him. His body was also engulfed in a pillar of Crimson flame. ”I can easily sense your Aura!!” Robert did not know why the Crimson Flame pillars were created in the first place. After all, 80% of magic damage was reduced thanks to his passive skill, the Dragon Slayer.

But then the pillars of flames were reduced to 7 bodies made of Crimson flame. Each of the bodies looked 99.999% identical to the current shape of the Dragon Monarchʼs body. He also looked back and then looked at the other identical bodies made up of Crimson flame. ʼWhich one is Aditya?ʼ This technique was very similar to his Ice Clone, but one key and major difference was that each of the 7 Flame clones had perfectly suppressed their Auras. Without any Auras, it was impossible to tell which one was the real Aditya. ʼI felt Adityaʼs Aura from behind. This means....!!ʼ Without any hesitation, he increased the gravity of the Aditya behind him and attacked him with his ice spear. The ice spear was glowing with cold frost energy. The energy was strong enough to freeze anything that it touched. Robert would have used his Ice Manipulation if his opponent wasnʼt Aditya. The Crimson Flame was extremely terrifying. Despite reducing its power by 80%, Robert still felt very uncomfortable whenever his body was engulfed in Crimson flame. It was a very painful experience. However, unfortunately for Robert, the ice spear successfully passed through the Crimson Flameʼs body. ”What...!!!” Seeing this, Robert was both stunned and shocked. Although he felt the black sword heading towards him, he even tried to use gravity suppression, but unfortunately, it was already too late. Even with a 1.5 times gravity increase on Adityaʼs body, it wasnʼt enough to stop him. Bang...!!!

In that less than one-second frame, the black sword managed to pierce his heart. Cough...!!!

Robert saw the tip of the black sword coming out of his chest. At the same time, he violently coughed out lots of blood. ”But how...?” Aditya did not stop there. The Black sword began to heat up. Hiss.....!!!

The sword was burning his insides due to its high temperature. This time, there was no 80% damage reduction. It was a non-magic attack. Even though magic was used to heat the black sword, it was indirectly involved. The direct attack was the sword attack. Robert felt as if he was getting burned alive. He felt like his insides were set on fire. ”It is just as I suspected.” Robert heard Adityaʼs cold voice. ”You are not that sensitive to the space fabric around you. In fact, your sensitivity to the surrounding space fabric is so poor that you couldnʼt even sense when I used teleportation to switch my real self with one Crimson flame clone.” Hearing this, Robertʼs eyes widened in fear. ”From the beginning, you relied on your natural senses as a cultivator to know where I have teleported. But you never really predicted where I was going to teleport. This implies you are not that sensitive to the change in space fabric.” But Aditya was really sensitive. And this fight made him understand that. This fight helped him understand the concept of behind his teleportation at a much deeper level. Robert understood that while he was distracted by the Crimson flame pillars transforming into Crimson clones of Aditya, he had teleported with one of the clones. The entire process was done so swiftly that Robert never realized what had happened. And the crimson pillars around him perfectly prevented him from seeing where Aditya had teleported. Before, Aditya himself used to be burned by his Crimson flames. But when he advanced to 4th-order, his understanding of Crimson lightning and Crimson flames increased so much that he could bathe himself in Crimson flame and Crimson lightning without taking any damage. ----------------
