Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 829:- Hope

Sasha stared at the tip of the spear. The spear was moving faster than her own body. She could only helplessly watch as the spear approached her stomach. ʼIn the end, I wasnʼt able to avoid this outcome!!ʼ Every time in her dream, she died from his spear piercing her stomach. Now, this was about to happen in real life as well. Seeing this, Lilithʼs heart tightened. She wanted to rush towards Sasha and save her. But she was just too far away. ”No.....!!”

Just as the tip of the spear was an inch away from her stomach, the space in front of her distorted. Bang...!!!

Cough.....!!!!

The one who was impaled by the spear wasnʼt Sasha. It was Victoria. At the very last second, she used Crimson Wrap Flash to teleport right in front of Sasha and take the spear for her. Sasha opened her eyes and stared at Victoriaʼs back in a mix of shock and horror. She never expected this woman to jump in front of her and save her life suddenly. Other than saying a few words to each other, they have never really spoken. At most, they can be considered acquaintances, but she still put her body on her life to save her life. Victoria coughed out a large mouthful of blood. Even Robert was slightly surprised by this but this outcome was still acceptable to him. But he did not stop there. He continued to push the spear towards Victoria, hoping to pierce Sashaʼs stomach as well. Victoria grabbed the cold spear with her trembling hands and stopped it from moving. ”Do it now!!” She said in a choked tone. Sasha snapped out of her daze and acted. Her poisonous dagger stabbed him in his chest. Or at least, thatʼs what she thought. Clang...!!!

Instead of piercing his body, what her dagger met was a thick layer of ice covering his chest. Even when she tried to break through the ice using all of her strength, it did not work. Other than leaving a few scratches on the surface of the ice, nothing else happened. Her dagger started to freeze. Smash!!

Instead, her dagger shattered like fragile glass. ”Let me deal with you first!!” Letting go of the spear, he tried to grab Sasha. But at that moment, roots wrapped around his arms and body again. This time, the rate at which these roots absorbed his mana had tripled.

Victoria saw this as a chance and grabbed his throat. ”Take this!!!”

 Counterstrike!!!!!!

Suddenly, Victoriaʼs wounds began to heal at a rapid speed. It was almost as if time was reversing itself. Dark energy traveled to Robertʼs body through her hands. Ah....!!!

He tried to break free, but more and more stronger roots that were created after absorbing his Mana kept wrapping around his body. Sasha also used this chance to throw rainbow powder on his face. The moment the rainbow color powder touched his face, Robert felt his senses had changed. It was more like his senses were heavily distorted.

He began to see things blur. His sense of smell was diluted. His sense of hearing was very distorted, making it nearly impossible for him to pinpoint which direction a sound was coming from. Lastly, he was able to sense the positions of everyone on the battlefield, but now, he couldnʼt even sense anyone. It was like he was suddenly trapped in a void where his senses had been heavily limited. Cough...!!!

Robert coughed out a large mouthful of blood. A hole appeared in his stomach. The hole in his stomach looked very much like the hole that was in Victoriaʼs stomach. ”This is our chance.” ”For the next 30 seconds, his senses have been distorted. If we donʼt take him down within that short time frame, then this powder wonʼt work against him.” His body will adapt and adjust to this powder. So, basically, this was a one-time thing. Sashaʼs words also reached his ears. Knowing that he was at a huge disadvantage, his only intention was now to escape. Suddenly, a wave of frost air came out of his body. Everything around him started freezing. All the roots that held him instantly froze and then shattered like fragile glass.

Robert was about to escape. As long as he stayed out of their reach for the next 30 seconds, he could resume this battle. But just as he was about to escape, hundreds of black tentacles shot out of the ground and wrapped around his ankles. It was Lilith. ”Riya, help me!!” There is no way that a beast like him can be restrained. This was the best shot at taking down this monster. Victoria, who was closest to Robert, tried to attack him with his own spear. But the spear suddenly released a wave of frost energy into her arms. The frost energy traveled to her forearms. The energy instantly froze her hands. Suddenly, she lost all strength in her arms. The spear slipped from her grasp and attacked Sasha, who was attempting to strike with her second dagger using the other end.

With a little bit of strength, Robert broke the shadow tentacles and was about to fly higher when a seemingly harmless sunflower seed was fired at him. Due to his senses being heavily distorted, he did not see the seed coming. The seed entered the hole in his stomach. Booooooooom...!!!!

The seed exploded in the hole in his stomach. However, Robert wasnʼt injured. Rather, the explosion was contained within an ice cube. At the very last second, he made the ice cube to prevent his stomach from blowing into pieces. Finding an opportunity, he was about to fly high to escape when someone came from above and punched his face. Bang....!!!

The punch sent him flying to the ground. ”Sylvie!!” Alicia was overjoyed to see her best friend helping her sisters. Due to a lack of strength, Lara, Alicia, and Julia had to sit at home and watch everything. ”I hope I am not late!!” Sylvie just arrived. When she noticed him flying, she did not waste time and ambushed him from above. ”Youʼre on time!!” Having another Peak 5th-order joining their battle was always a good thing. ”We have about 12 seconds. We have to finish him within that timeframe.” All the girls charged at Robert from all directions. Meanwhile, Robert came out of the small crater with the support of his spear. ”I guess, itʼs time to go all out!!” The girls were less than 5 meters away from him. Just when everyoneʼs attacks were about to hit him, suddenly, something changed. Booooooooooom...!!!!

A mysterious energy spread all over the area. Everyone found themselves slowing them. ”Whatʼs happening?” The gravity of the area started to increase. It reached a point where all the girls had to stop. ”Thatʼs gravity, Manipulation.” Lilith and Amelia looked shocked. They had never met a gravity user in their lives, which proved just how rare cultivators with the ability to manipulate gravity were. Robert opened his eyes and looked at the girls. His senses were starting to return back to normal.

”Oh.....!! Thatʼs not all!!”

Suddenly, the pressure on their bodies became stronger. The pressure continued becoming stronger and stronger until all the girls went to their knees and began to suffocate. They truly felt like the entire weight of a mountain was on their bodies. ”I call this Gravity Compression,” Robert asked while grinning. Meanwhile, his bodyʼs wounds started healing. The hole was closing at a visible rate. Two minutes would be enough for him to heal completely. ”Among everyone, it looked like Riya had the worst.” After all, she hadnʼt even reached Peak 5th-order yet. She was the weakest one in this group. For this reason, she stayed back and provided support from the back all of the time. Her face had turned red like a tomato. She couldnʼt breathe. Her blood pressure was rapidly rising. Seeing this, Amelia wanted to do something. But under this intense pressure, it was nearly impossible for her to use manipulate the Mana inside her body to use any of her skills. The same was the story with everyone else. Lilith and Amelia exchanged helpless looks. Neither of them believed a day would come when they would feel this helpless. But that day was here. Instead of being the Saints, they couldnʼt even protect their daughters. ”Dammit!!!”

”Yes!! Thatʼs right!!” ”I will make your bodies explode into a bloody mess.” Robert had a crazy grin on his face. He never thought that he would be brought to this extent by a bunch of girls who werenʼt even stronger than the Dragon Monarch. This made him feel very humiliated. Suddenly, the sky changed. The dark clouds covered the sky. Seeing this, he looked at the sky. ”So, you finally decided to come out.” Robert grinned like a mad man. The girls also looked at the sky.
