Chapter 817:- Act like a Chameleon

”Princess, so the one that you have been seeing in the spiritual world is him,” Allen asked in a calm tone. Although he tried to appear calm, only he knew just how fast his heart was beating. ”Allen, today I will kill you.” After saying that, she slowly started floating.

Although her powers were suppressed to Peak 4th-order, it was still more than enough to fight Allen. ”Princess, I know what I did to you is indeed horrible. There is no room for any redemption.” ”But you have to understand my position.” ”As the bearer of Stardawnʼs Guardian class, I have to take steps that nobody will take to make sure that I protect Stardawn.” Hearing this, Aditya and Rin exchanged a look of shock. From the name of his class, itʼs easy to guess what kind of class Allen has. Allen himself has no choice. This was his biggest secret. Not even the closest and most loyal people around him know this.

ʼSometimes itʼs best to reveal all the trump cards.ʼ Allen thought to himself. Allen first hated his class. He did not like the fact that he was forced to be a guardian when he wanted to explore the world and stand at the top. But as time passed, Allen himself understood the importance of a guardian. His mindset changed, and he fully embraced his Stardawn Guardian class. ”What I am doing is merely continuing my fatherʼs dream of unifying Stardawn under a single Rule.” Allenʼs father also had the same dream. But unfortunately, his father stopped before he even started. But Allen was different. He was better. He was stronger. He had the will strong enough to make the necessary sacrifices to advance towards his dream. Allen spread his arms and looked at the sky. ”Just imagine just how powerful and threatening our pocket dimension would become once all 7 clans are united. Instead of trying to always kill each other, we started working as one unit.”

”Just imagine the progress that we as a Pocket Dimension would make.”

”Princess, you allowed me to make centuriesʼ worth of progress.” Allen looked at Rin with a smile. But she hated that sly smile on his face. It was like a snake smiling at her. A snake can never be trusted. If needed, it will even bite the very hand that fed him and raised him since birth. ”Now, I am very close to achieving my goal.” ”After coming this after with all the things that I have sacrificed, there is no way that I can step back. Otherwise, everything that I have done and sacrificed will lose its meaning.”

Hearing his words, Aditya frowned. ”Youʼre speaking as if you ended World Hunger or World Conflicts.” Allen struggled to keep his smile looking at Aditya. ”Your is indeed very noble but very ambitious. But the way you approached things is wrong.”

Aditya grabbed a normal sword and pointed at him. ”Even if you were right, I still would have killed you because of what you did to her.” He said in a cold tone. If Rin hadnʼt expressed her desire to fight him and kill him with her own hands, Aditya would have already attacked him.

There was no use in talking to him. ”Oh.....!!!”

”Is that love I see in your eyes?” Allen asked in a teasing tone. He was trying to change the subject. ”The last time I heard, you nearly killed every native of your world.” Rin stepped forward and spoke. Hearing this, Allenʼs expression darkened. He did not like anyone talking about his failure.

It was one of the biggest failures of his life. ”You did he do?” Aditya wanted this conversation to continue seeing his ugly expression. So curiously asked her. ”Basically, he released a virus and ended up killing a lot of people.”

”Not many people are aware of this incident. At the time, I was confused as to why it wasnʼt widely known, but now that Iʼve seen your true nature, I can guess that you deliberately suppressed everything. Later, you even spread the word to those you knew about your involvement in this, claiming that the whole thing was nothing but a big misunderstanding.” Allen quickly hides his ugly expression. He looked at the sky and decided to explain. ”Many years back, I tried to protect this world but ended up miserably failing.”

”You did not protect the world.” Allen frowned. ”In fact, it was your action that triggered everything and resulted in the loss of so many peopleʼs lives.”

”What happened?” Aditya asked.

”Many years back, a new virus started spreading all around the Stardawn. The new virus only affected the natives of this pocket dimension. Only those who were born in this pocket dimension were affected by the virus, and others who came from the outside world werenʼt affected by it.”

”Why did you even do this?” Seeing that there was no need for him to hide his intentions anymore, Allen decided to be honest. He even told them about his class, now there was no need to keep any secrets. ”It was nothing but an attempt to gain control of this world and unite everyone under one single rule.”

”For the bright future of Stardawn, the sacrifice which I call change was necessary.”

”You committed such a heinous crime and call that necessary sacrifice. Something is really wrong with your mind.” But he ignored Adityaʼs comment.

”The bright future that you are talking about took the lives of more than 50,000 natives of this world. You are not a savior.” Rin was getting angrier the more he was speaking. She hated this man. ”You are a tyrant.”

”You are a cold-blooded monster. You only care about your interests and nothing else.”

”In order to become the savior of this pocket dimension, I need to be cold, blooded, and merciless. My resolve cannot be shaken by the death of my people. If anything, they are deaths have only strengthened my resolve.” The virus was intentionally spread to affect the natives of these pocket dimensions. It was done by him.

His plan was to use the virus to artificially, improve the cultivation talent of the natives of this pocket dimension. Another function of the virus is that the natives will become one hundred percent loyal to this land and its king. He knew the risks that was involved with this virus, but he still went with it. He felt that it was worth the risk. Through this method, he hoped to raise an army that was so powerful that even the main continent trembled before it.

”You know, Former Clan Leader Allen, I find it funny that you try so hard to portray yourself as a tragic fallen Hero.” ”This whole time, you have been trying to paint yourself as the guy who has no other choice but to go with this.” ”Like a Magic chameleon, you kept changing your colors.” ”I have met plenty of evil trash like you in the past. But none were pathetic, pitiful, and dishonorable as you.” His expression once again changed.

He looked like he had eaten shit. ”I have met countless evil, despicable degenerates in my life, but none tried to be a snake with chameleonʼs powers. You should feel proud, given how much shit comes out of your wrong hole.”

”I am sure half of what you said isnʼt even true.” ”Thatʼs enough!!” It was Kotetsu, one of Allenʼs most trusted guards.

Kotetsu wasnʼt going to let his master be insulted like this. ”As long as I am alive, I will not allow Sir Allen to be insulted like that.” Aditya was unfazed. He glanced at Allen and said. ”Youʼre so lucky that you have found someone like him to be your guard.” But Kotetsu was already charging at Aditya. Instead of preparing to defend against him, he continued. ”I am starting to feel that you have deceived this poor guyʼs mind with your chameleon words.” Hearing this, Allen flinched. Aditya casually dodged the diagonal spear swing from Kotetsu. He took a step back and then grabbed the spearʼs rod near the blade. Even a Peak 5th-order cultivator like Kotetsu could not resist when Aditya pulled the spear towards him. This caused him to stumble forward. He took a few uncoordinated steps but did not fall down. When he looked at his opponent, a punch landed on his right cheek. Crack!!!

A sound cracking sound reached his ears. But he did not stop. He grabbed the spear. Aditya suddenly turned around and threw it into the sky. The spear was enveloped in Crimson Flames. The spear moved like a bright flash of light and pierced the stomach of another bodyguard who was trying to attack Aditya with a long-ranged spell. Cough....!!

The other three bodyguards came at him from three different directions. Meanwhile, Rin and Allen started fighting. Allen was trying to delay this fight so that he could use one of his special moves. He wanted to avoid this confrontation, but it wasnʼt possible. Countless tiny fragments of earth started joining together. Two fragments of earth became one, and then it merged with another fragment, and the process continued countless times. Within a few seconds, thousands of long, sharp Earth spears were floating around Rin. ʼDamn, telekinesis!!!ʼ ”Donʼt underestimate me, princess!!” Allenʼs body started dividing. One became two, and two became four. This continued until there was 512 Allen on the sky. ”Just creating more of you wonʼt save you today.” She sent all the earth spears to Allenʼs avatars. ”I am behind you!!” One of the Allen appeared behind Rin and was about to attack him. However, before the avatar can touch her, a strong wind blade cuts his whole body in half. Just as she did that, his body disappeared. Meanwhile, the real Allen was escaping. He had already traveled more than 1000 meters away from Rin. He clearly did not fly into the sky; rather, he flew just one meter above the ground. That way, he was able to use the cover of the forest to hide himself. With her sensing abilities limited to not more than 100 meters, this was the best possible option. He was about to travel further, but then an invisible wind blade was shot at him. Although he could not see the attack, as a Peak 5th-order, he felt it coming. At the very last second, he managed to move to the right. Bang....!!!

Unfortunately, his left arm wasnʼt so lucky. His left arm was severed from his body.

From the impact and the pain, Allen hit a few trees and fell to the ground. ʼShe compressed wind to make invisible wind blades.ʼ Since his senses were also limited, he almost did not sense that coming at him. A second later, Rin landed on his severed left arm. She intentionally landed on his arm. Seeing his dark and painful expression, she felt very satisfied. Allen felt that the Auras of his five bodyguards were getting weaker. This means that they were going to die. ʼItʼs now or never!!ʼ Suddenly, a golden light enveloped his entire body. Rin felt his Aura rapidly increasing. ʼWhat is he doing?ʼ She can feel him getting stronger with each passing second. •••

A greyish light surrounded all five bodyguards of Allen, who were lying on the ground. All of them were on the verge of death from Adityaʼs beating. He used their weapons against themselves to seriously injure them.

This greyish light around them felt very hideous and cold. Kotetsu was the first one to sit up as this happened. After wiping the blood from the corner of his lips, he looked in the direction where Allen was. They all could feel their Masterʼs location through their connection. ”The time has come!!”

”Sir Allen, we are more than happy to sacrifice ourselves for you.”
