[Please collect]_1 35: Chapter 35: Yu Yuan, Captured!

[Please collect]_1 “Yu Tao is dead.

I suppose with your intelligence network, you should have already received this news.”

Jia Yan returned to the rented room of the wage worker.

After he fell asleep, Jia Yan quietly shut down the game as usual.

He then opened QQ and got in contact with two assassins.

“Yes, we’ve received the news.

The symptoms of his death align with the effects of CHr-379.”

The other party replied promptly without making Jia Yan wait too long.

Fortunately, they didn’t choose to leave.

Otherwise, it would be impossible for Jia Yan to find them within a day amidst the vast sea of people.

“Since you’ve received the news, then my promise to help you kill Yu Tao is fulfilled.

Now it’s your turn to keep your promise…”

“Alright, we understand.

The one you want to deal with is Yu Yuan, right?

What should we do?”

Jia Yan recalled their first meeting in the van, they’d mentioned that if the target was changed to Yu Yuan, there would be numerous ways to handle it.

Then, to kidnap Yu Yuan and do certain things to him, should be also quite simple!

Yu Tao had so many security guards, Yu Yuan definitely didn’t have any and nobody would guess that, the day right after Yu Tao’s death, someone would target his son, Yu Yuan.

“You guys should do this…”

Jia Yan sent his messages one by one.

On the other side of the internet connection, the two men stared slack-jawed at the instructions popping up one after another on their screen.

As assassins, they had seen cruel people.

Cruel, crueler, and even the cruelest.

But they had never seen such cruelty against an ordinary person before.

Did Jia Yan personally have a grudge against Yu Yuan, or was it Jia Yan’s client who harbored hatred for Yu Yuan to justify such treatment?

“Alright, just proceed as I’ve instructed.

Also… I have another question.”

After typing, Jia Yan continued to ask his question.

“You should know where the girl who tried to assassinate Yu Yuan lives, right?

Tell me.”

…

The Yu Family was in turmoil!

Yu Tao, the contemporary patriarch of the Yu family, had died of an acute infection, causing not only upheaval in the Yu Enterprises but also a minor shock in the city of Shanghu!

Although many ordinary people were not familiar with this patriarch of the Yu family or even knew about the Yu family, the stock prices began to fall the day after Yu Tao’s death, causing a certain amount of slump in the stock market.

Some big shots started frequenting the hospital, some even being very well-known figures.

But all of this had nothing to do with Yu Yuan anymore.

When he woke up, he found himself lying in his own room.

“Why am I here and why does it hurt so much!”

Yu Yuan could feel the intense pain in his fist.

When he lifted it for a closer look, he saw a lot of split skin over the knuckles and clear traces of blood.

The wounds were obviously caused by punching people or hard objects.

Yu Yuan’s pupils dilated and he started slowly recalling yesterday’s events.

“Dad!” He jumped down from the bed.

He opened the door, but two security men in black were standing guard at the entrance.

“Mr.

Yu, where are you going?” The one in charge asked as they saw Yu Yuan.

“I want to see my dad.

How is he now!” Yu Yuan grabbed the collar of the man’s uniform and questioned urgently.

“I’m sorry, Mr.

Yu, your father was announced dead by the hospital at twenty past eight last night,” the man in black said.

“That’s impossible!

I want to see him!” Yu Yuan rushed forward in a panic.

But his shoulder was held back by the two men.

“Mr.

Yu, your mother and uncle have forbidden you from seeing your father.

They said you need to calm down for a few days.

You haven’t completely forgotten what happened last night, have you?” the security chief said coldly.

Last night?!

Yu Yuan’s face suddenly changed.

He seemed to have had a drink, and he and his uncle had a minor disagreement at the hospital.

And then…

Regret appeared on Yu Yuan’s face when he remembered.

He had actually shocked everyone by throwing a tantrum next to Yu Tao’s body!

Did he really overturn the surgery table along with his dead father?!

“Ah!” Yu Yuan held his head and squatted on the ground.

“Mr.

Yu, are you okay?” asked the man in black.

But inwardly, he sneered.

This disloyal and unfaithful young man, if not for his duty, he wouldn’t waste so many words talking to him.

Not beating him up was already considerate!

“I want to go out for a walk, is that okay?” Yu Yuan looked as though he was grieving deeply.

“Well… alright, but we must accompany you.” The two men looked at each other and reluctantly agreed.

Half an hour later, a slightly weary Yu Yuan, following two men in black, drove out of the Geshan Community.

Just after their extended Land Rover left the community gate, a silver minivan slowly emerged from a road not far away…

It then settled at a comfortable distance behind their vehicle.

“Mr.

Yu, where do you plan to go?” asked the man in black casually from the driver’s seat.

The men in black were rather unenthusiastic about their assignment.

This time, their security team was tasked with protecting Yu Tao’s safety, but unexpectedly, Yu Tao was not assassinated, but died inexplicably to the so-called ‘insect-mediated virus’ on the first day he returned from abroad!

This was nothing short of a joke.

Although they were not really accountable for Yu Tao’s death, they knew some would question their competence!

Moreover, they were still under contract, tasked with protecting the future leader of the Yu Family — Yu Yuan.

But they didn’t have a good impression of this young man.

After all, he had caused trouble in the hospital and even did something as outrageous as knocking over his dead father’s body!

Even if that was a drunken rampage, who knew if he had been hiding such inhuman attitudes all along.

Who would want to protect such a person!

“To the seaside.

Find a place with fewer people.

I want to feel the sea breeze.” Yu Yuan said.

“Alright.”

Usually, the security would be suspicious of such a request, afraid their employer might have plans to jump into the sea.

But they found it didn’t matter whether this brat jumped or not.

He was trash anyway, so they agreed readily.

After another half hour of driving, the luxurious vehicle arrived at a sparsely populated coastal road.

The silver minivan followed loosely behind, keeping a consistent distance.

They pulled over next to a cliff, and Yu Yuan got out of the car.

The two security guards in black didn’t care about the young man.

They just got out of the car and started chatting while smoking cigarettes on a stone.

Yu Yuan gave both men a piercing look.

“You all look down on me, don’t you?

My mother, my uncle…everyone is wishing for my death, right?!”

“But I absolutely will not die!” With the sea breeze in his face, Yu Yuan’s expression went wild.

“I’m going to take over the Yu Family and crush all of you who look down on me!

My uncle’s small businesses?

I’ll start working on a plan to annihilate them all!

And my mother’s house?

I’ll kick her out immediately!

The Ding Family!

Little bitch Ding Li Meng, once I take over the Yu Family, I’ll collaborate with the best kidnapping expert, tie you up in my secret residence, then you’ll be at my mercy!

Hahaha!”

“So what if I’ve gone mad!

That damn Yu Tao deserved to die!

How did I not realize before that taking over the Yu Family would be the greatest joy of my life!

My parents, my uncle, Ding Li Meng…once I take over the Yu Family, I’ll teach them all a lesson!”

“And that bastard Jia Yan!

If it wasn’t for you meddling with Ding Li Meng, I wouldn’t have endured the humiliation of a broken engagement!

Once I’m in charge of the Yu Family, I’ll send people to destroy your family!”

Amid his crazed thoughts, something suddenly occurred to Yu Yuan: “Hey!

That girl from the party the day before yesterday, her name was Jia Lin, wasn’t it?

I remember now.

She’s Jia Yan’s sister!

So, she infiltrated my party…what’s she up to?

Good, she seems to be in Shanghai City.

Once I get home, I’ll call my buddies to kidnap her!

Everyone who is against me shall die!”

With the sea breeze in his face, Yu Yuan’s expression was devilishly ruthless, as if a demon had awakened inside him!

Just as the dark thoughts in his mind were escalating,

A minivan suddenly sped toward him the moment it noticed Yu Yuan’s distance from the two security guards, and bolted forward!

Screech!

The roar of the vehicle’s emergency brakes was intense!

“Don’t move!” Just as the two security guards were jolted out of their conversation, about to reach for something,

A man with a cloth bag over his head jumped out of the vehicle, a menacing black pistol in his hand pointed right at them!

Freeze!

The two security guards dared not move.

“Come with me!

Now!”

The hooded man forcefully grabbed a petrified Yu Yuan and shoved him into the minivan!.

Yu Yuan had no chance to resist the man’s strength!

‘Boom boom!’

The minivan instantly roared away at top speed.

The entire process, from the minivan’s appearance to Yu Yuan’s abduction, took less than twenty seconds.

“Let’s follow them quickly.” One of the security guards stood up, ready to jump into their vehicle and chase the minivan.

“There’s no rush…” The other guard, who was the leader, seemed rather lackadaisical.

Catching that young man was not a priority.

If they did catch him, their reputation in the industry would only be slightly tarnished.

And really, why should they risk their lives in a potential gun fight for this unfilial and disloyal brat?

So they decided to take their time.

The security guards nonchalantly got back in their vehicle and started the chase.

They also dialed some numbers to report the situation and notify the family.

By the time they picked up speed and hit 80 miles per hour, the minivan, not known for its high speeds, had long disappeared without a trace…
