Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

[Please Collect] _1 31: Chapter 31: Act Tomorrow!

[Please Collect] _1 The male Anopheles mosquito struggled desperately, but its entire body ended up submerged in the potion, thrashing directly on the surface of the liquid.

Jia Yan carefully made sure not to get splashed with the potion, then stood by the bottle to meticulously observe the scene.

After ten minutes…

“Excellent, at least this mosquito hasn’t shown any reaction until now.

I can preliminarily infer that the danger to me is minimal.

Even if there is a slight harm, if it didn’t directly kill this mosquito, then given my mutated physique, there will assuredly be no threat at all…”

The gleam in Jia Yan’s compound eyes intensified!

Yu Yuan, your death is coming!!

As the sun set and evening arrived.

Fan Haofei, a young worker who had been busy all day, trudged back to his rented home with weariness.

He was an installer of aluminum windows.

He had been fighting alone in this metropolis, Shanghu, for over half a year.

Just like every youngster who dreams of a city life, Fan Haofei always hoped to rely on his own strength to stand firm in the bustling city.

But reality was like a sharp knife, ruthlessly tearing apart the fragile dreams of the young man, leaving him too devastated to even think about it!

Although the wages in Shanghai City were relatively high, the cost of living was extremely extravagant.

Fan Haofei even had a thought of giving up his dreams to return to his remote hometown.

“Last night, I got disconnected while idling in the game, so frustrating!

Otherwise, I would have reached level sixty!”

Aside from his work, Fan Haofei’s main hobby was gaming.

He was playing a popular online game even while at work.

His ranking was surprisingly within the top hundred, which was quite an accomplishment.

Once back at his rented room, he couldn’t wait to check his always-on computer.

“Great, there was no disconnect during the day, and I leveled up!” Fan Haofei was visibly delighted.

Without having the time to take a shower, he sat barefoot and played the game.

“What’s this smell?

It’s suffocating!”

With his eyes glued to the screen, Fan Haofei didn’t notice a mosquito flying dizzily in through the window from outside, only to be overwhelmed by his smelly feet!

“I got here and immediately smelled this.

This guy goes straight to his game before even washing his feet.

The stench is unbearable!” Jia Yan felt like he was back at the smelly pond.

The entire room was filled with the smell.

Some mosquitoes love people with smelly feet.

It’s unclear why.

Naturally, Jia Yan wouldn’t like this smell.

“Looking at him, I have no idea how long he’s planning to play on the computer.

I’ll help him wash early.

After a bath, his body will relax, and he might feel tired…”

Jia Yan harboured some mischievous thoughts.

Then, in the darkness, he carefully flew to the back of the house’s tenant…

Fan Haofei was shirtless.

He thought lighting a mosquito coil would ward off mosquitoes, but little did he know, Jia Yan had a strong resistance to mosquito coils.

Perched on the smooth back, Jia Yan got the scent of blood.

“I haven’t sucked blood in two days, quite hungry actually.”

Jia Yan, without hesitation, slipped his proboscis into Fan Haofei’s back.

Anyway, I’m a mosquito now, and isn’t a mosquito’s blood-sucking as natural as nature itself?

Although apologetic, Jia Yan made sure that he wouldn’t infect people with viruses before he started sucking blood.

A few moments passed.

“Ugh, so itchy!

What kind of shitty mosquito coil is this?

I still got bitten!

I’ll take a bath, should help with the itching.”

Fan Haofei scratched his back and went to take a bath.

“What, still playing the game, totally hooked!

I’ll shut it off for you later on.

Think of it as rehab, haha!” Jia Yan chuckled to himself and hid in the shadows to wait.

Tomorrow was the day Yu Tao would return from abroad, and Jia Yan planned to confirm Yu Tao’s exact itinerary with the two assassins tonight.

If possible, he wanted to make his move tomorrow!

Jia Yan wanted Yu Yuan to die as quickly as possible; otherwise, his little sister might end up foolishly repeating her actions of yesterday.

After his bath, Fan Haofei returned, his body smelling much fresher.

He sat barefoot in front of the computer and resumed his game.

“Still playing!

If you were browsing the news or watching a video, I could watch it with you.

But a game?

What’s the fun in that?” After waiting for nearly an hour, Jia Yan, who was hiding under the bed, grew impatient.

He took off again.

Fan Haofei was in the middle of controlling his game character to attack other players.

His eyes gleamed as he stared at the screen consumed with it.

Jia Yan quietly crawled onto his back…

“Holy crap!

It’s so itchy!

Damn mosquito coil!” In no time, Fan Haofei yelled out, one hand clutching the mouse while the other desperately scratched his back.

Jia Yan hid under the bed, giggling inside with joy!

Taunting this little guy is really interesting.

Because of the harsh mosquito bites, Fan Haofei didn’t insist on continuing to play the game this time, instead, he activated the auto-play function, allowing the computer to automatically fight the monsters.

He hid under the mosquito net, started calling his family.

“Mom, I’m doing well, the salary here is 5000 per month, um…

I will pay attention to safety.

It’s okay, I’ll go home for the New Year.”

“The county town also has 4000?

But I still feel better here.

Dad, don’t say anymore, the boss is so good to me, for the matter you mentioned, let me consider it when I go home for the New Year, okay?”

Jia Yan hid under the bed, listening to Fan Haofei chatting with his family and couldn’t help but think of his own.

A sense of melancholy filled his heart.

Young men like Fan Haofei are alright, although they are alone in a foreign land trying to make ends meet, they can still go home from time to time.

Even if they fail, they still have a family that would accept them.

But what about Jia Yan?

After his rebirth, he’s just a small mosquito.

Alive, he’s alone, dead, he’s still alone.

Loneliness in pain, sadness in joy, all these were felt by him alone.

He had no home.

Jia Yan shrank in the corner, listening to Fan Haofei’s phone call, imagining it to be his own call to his parents.

If he were still that young man who, although his grades weren’t great, was a second-tier university student.

He could also call his parents often now, couldn’t he?

Why didn’t he call daily before…

‘Mom, have you eaten yet?’ Even if it was just this sentence, it would have been good.

The dark mosquito, hiding under the bed, seemed to slightly curl up, seeming so lonely.

Not long after, deep breathing sounds came from the bed.

Fan Haofei was asleep, and Jia Yan also recovered from his mood!

No matter how oppressive life is, we always need to carry on.

Fight!

Even if it’s a mosquito, we should strive to survive!

Jia Yan flew up, only to find that Fan Haofei was not only asleep but had started snoring.

From his observation yesterday, he knew that this young man was a heavy sleeper.

Jia Yan picked up the ballpoint pen cap placed under the bed and flew to the computer with great assurance.

In comparison to yesterday, Jia Yan was much more adept today!

He immediately closed the game without any hesitation, and then opened QQ!

Poor Fan Haofei, his plan to auto-play the game tonight was a failure.

If it happens a few more times, this guy might give up on the game.

If he is disheartened, he may actually overcome his internet addiction!

Jia Yan considered this as a good deed…

The handsome Korean Oppa avatar of ‘For Niang’s Heart’ was still lit!

Regardless of how many times he looked, Jia Yan couldn’t help but curse at this bearded guy.

He looked like that in real life, yet he used this avatar to deceive others.

Even if he successfully deceived someone, when the girl met him in person and saw his ugly face, a slap or two would be the least of his worries.

“Tell me Yu Tao’s schedule for tomorrow.” Jia Yan quickly typed out this sentence, directly hitting the point.

“He will take the 23:25 flight tonight from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport, arriving at Shanghai Puxi Airport, China around tomorrow afternoon 16:35.

His entourage will include four security personnel; these guys are ex-military, and one even ranked quite high in an international military competition.”

“Once in China, they will ride in an extended version of a bullet-proof Range Rover arranged by the reception team, arriving at the corporate headquarters of the Yu Family, the Mingxia Building, for office meetings and discussions.

I estimate that they will return home, to the Yu Family Courtyard, around 23:00 at night.”

After reading this message, Jia Yan had to admire the professional capabilities of the assassins; Yu Tao hadn’t even boarded the plane and they already had his entire itinerary figured out.

He gave it some thought.

Then solemnly typed another sentence…

“Tomorrow, I will seize the opportunity to take action, using the CHr-379 you provided.

But, remember not to forget that you’re helping me kill Yu Yuan.

If you dare to run…

Well, you can try.

See if you can escape for a day in my hands!”

Jia Yan’s language was full of threatening flavor!

He believed that these two assassins were already scared by him.

Without any clue, their matters were thoroughly understood by Jia Yan.

Now, Jia Yan mysteriously claims to have the ability to hunt and kill them within a day, and there was a fair chance they would believe him!

Of course, Jia Yan had a contingency plan!

Before embarking on the mission to kill Yu Tao tomorrow…

He would visit the residences of these two assassins!

He will monitor them and if they try to flee, they will regret it!

If they want to hinder Jia Yan’s biggest wish after his rebirth, then one of them must first taste the ‘CHr-379’.

Whether they die or not doesn’t matter, at least he has another one left, which can continue to help him under threat and bribes.

Anyway, these two were assassins and surely had killed people before.

Killing them won’t place too much of a psychological burden on Jia Yan!

To be continued.
