Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Hearing the surname ‘Jia’, Jia Yan, hiding behind the door, couldn’t help but feel his heart palpitate!

Is the ‘Jia’ they were referring to me?

Or could it be another Jia with the same pronunciation!?

However, the following conversation between the two people had Jia Yan feeling as if he had been plunged into an ice cave, his entire body seizing up in an instant.

“Oh?

What’s the story with this Jia girl?” the bearded man asked curiously.

“I heard that her brother was beaten to death by Yu Yuan’s men a month ago, but the official report says it was a car accident, and there was already a scapegoat arranged by the Yu family,” the other man replied.

“But this young girl is quite capable.

Despite her relatives all returning home, she stayed alone, sensing that there were many suspicious points in the accident.

She even took a job in a restaurant to gather more information.

Quite admirable indeed.

In the end, she discovered the truth.”

“Just think, what could a young girl like that do, unable to find a way forward in seeking justice?

Anyway, my informant told me that this young girl bought a dagger at noon.

She probably plans to take vengeance on Yu Yuan during the Yu family’s party.”

It’s my sister!

Jia Yan, hidden behind the door, felt as if his mind had been struck by lightning.

His head was roaring!

The brother they mentioned being beaten to death must have been me.

And the girl with the surname Jia, it has to be my sister, Jia Lin!

“Little sister!

How can you be so foolish!

How can you be so foolish!”

What time is it now?

Almost four!

Jia Yan couldn’t bear to listen to the conversation between the two assassins any longer.

From behind the door where he was hiding, he shot forth like a bullet, flying through the open window with the fastest speed he could muster!

“Oh, you scared me.

What a big mosquito!” said the bearded man, his voice echoing in Jia Yan’s ears.

“Huh?

Is it normal for such a large mosquito to occur in the city?” said the bespectacled young man, surprisingly calm.

But their voices were quickly receding.

Jia Yan’s wings were beating rapidly, and he was flying down the path with the greatest speed he could manage!

Although he couldn’t think of a way to stop her, he had to be there!

To stop his sister!

Because whether his sister’s actions would succeed or not, she would surely put herself in danger!

Jia Yan’s heart was trembling.

His younger sister had always been closest to him since childhood.

Due to the three year age difference, Jia Yan was the perfect brother-dividing his time between being mature and playing with his sister.

Because Jia Yan was generally meticulous and well-behaved, his sister had been dependent on him since she was young.

Jia Yan could imagine the pain his sister would feel when she found out about his death.

Anyone would be distraught if they lost a beloved older brother in this way.

But Jia Yan never thought that his sister would have the courage to do such a thing.

Staying alone in a big city like Shanghu, even secretly investigating her brother’s death, Jia Yan could imagine how many difficulties and obstacles she would have to face.

Yet, she managed to investigate till now, even finding out who the real culprit was!

For her deceased older brother, his sister had worked tremendously hard.

Is this still the same little sister who used to bawl and complain to him about everything?

This strong sister of his was causing Jia Yan an immense heartache.

“Linlin!

Don’t do anything foolish, your brother is coming!” Jia Yan, with all the speed he could muster, darted towards the vehicles on the road!

Even if he had lost his power to protect his sister, he would still go!

Because he is her brother!

Vehicles were streaming down the street.

The cars passing by at high speed were like galloping horses, constantly sweeping him aside with raging winds each time he gritted his teeth and tried to fly across.

“Damn it!

Would one of these cars please stop for me!” Jia Yan screamed in desperation.

However, this was not a busy street, and not many cars would stop here.

Jia Yan even tried to steer his mosquito body towards the cars with the window down!

But this sort of attempt was utterly futile.

He only managed to get into the van of the two assassins earlier because they were surveying the rich district’s layout with their vehicle at a very slow speed.

Otherwise, with his mosquito body, he wouldn’t be able to get close before being swept away by the gust of wind!

Time ticked away by the minute, and Jia Yan’s heart bled.

For the first time, he felt so resentful towards his tiny mosquito body.

If he had been reborn in the body of a stronger creature, even a sparrow would be much better than this mosquito body.

“No!

I can’t panic!

It’s barely four o’clock now, if I wait a little longer, there must be a car that will stop or slow down!”

Jia Yan could not rely on his wings to fly to the rich district, because it was more than eight or nine kilometers away.

Unlike the three-kilometer flight the other night, it was now midday.

Mosquitoes in this scorching sun would consume far more energy, and by the time he slowly flew over there, the event would probably have already taken place!

Finally, another five minutes passed.

A small car driving on the road stopped by the side of the road because its owner wanted to buy cigarettes.

“This is the chance!” Jia Yan swiftly flew towards the parked car.

Little sister!

You mustn’t do anything rash.

Just wait there!

Brother is on his way!

Jia Yan flew into the back seat of the car, anxiously watching the car owner buying cigarettes, hoping that he would speed up.

“Jia Yan, don’t be too impatient!

Calm down!

At this moment, the main issue is to think about what you can do once you get there!

What else can you do!

Don’t be impulsive!” Jia Yan was trying hard to calm his emotions deep within.

He can’t be overly emotional now, or else this mindset surely won’t bring about any decent ideas.

As a mosquito, how could he possibly help even if he could get to the little sister as fast as possible?

Therefore, his immediate task is to think about what he could do once he gets to the community!

There must be a way to help this silly child!

Such a silly child…

It was brother’s vengeance that he had vowed to exact, you…

why are you being so foolish…

Silly child!

…

Geshan Community is one among several significant noble community areas in Shanghu.

There are too many wealthy people here, and all those who come and go are well-known figures in Shanghu.

It can be said that millionaires in this community don’t even dare to lift their heads, because they feel too poor to be proud.

Today is the day when the Yu Family, considered the top-tier in this community, is hosting a private party.

There is much work for the security guards at the entrance.

“May I ask who you are looking for, miss?”

At the entrance of the community, a middle-aged security guard named ‘Old Xu’, who was a military veteran, asked a girl who had just taken a taxi.

The girl had light makeup on her face, but it couldn’t cover her youthful innocence.

This girl seemed to be of the more introverted type; she wore somewhat extravagant clothing, but one with keen eyes could tell it wasn’t really any valuable fabric.

However, her face was also extremely cute, which combined with her slightly naïve expression, was somewhat attractive to the opposite sex.

The girl clasped her hands and bit her lips nervously.

Old Xu was worried that her lips might bleed, she finally spoke: “I was invited by Yu Yuan to attend the party.

Can I go in?”

Being a little jittery when she spoke, Old Xu found it strange.

“Hold on, I’ll call and ask.” Old Xu gestured with his hand and was about to enter the security booth.

Just then, a custom Hummer off-road vehicle drove up from the outside of the road.

A young, rotund lad with vertical purple hair was seated in the Hummer.

The man honked the car’s horn vigorously at the entrance to the community!

“Mr.

Hu, you’re here!

Don’t rush, I’m opening up the gate for you right away!” Old Xu put down the phone in his hand and hurriedly bowed as he pressed the remote control button for the gate.

That fat guy, chewing on gum, shifted his gaze over to the coquettish girl standing on the side while he waited for the gate to open.

Seeing the girl look back at him, the fat guy smirked mischievously.

The girl’s expression stiffened, and then she walked toward the Hummer.

“Hello, can I go in with you?” the girl asked with a sweet voice.

“What’s your name?

What are you going in for?” The side of the fat man’s mouth, who was chewing on his gum, was tilted.

His face, full of flabby flesh, didn’t show a hint of a smile.

“My name is Jia Lin, I’m going…

going to attend Yu Yuan’s party tonight,” replied the girl in her charming voice.

The remote-controlled gate was already fully open, but the fat guy didn’t drive in.

He just chewed his gum, checking out the girl standing next to the car door from top to bottom.

This girl named ‘Jia Lin’ looked no more than eighteen or nineteen, with a face that resembled a cute doll.

Likely, just one loud shout would make her burst into tears.

Her figure also looked pretty good, quite appetizing indeed!

The fat guy finally showed a smile: “Get in!”
