[Seek Favorites] _1 30: Chapter 30: The Virus is obtained!

[Seek Favorites] _1 “No, no, no…quite the contrary.

You carry on with your other tasks, and I’ll…

I’ll take care of Yu Tao,”

“What?!” The response echoed disbelief.

“Of course, I’m not going to kill Yu Tao for you for nothing!

In fact, my target is Yu Tao’s son — Yu Yuan!

I’ll eliminate Yu Tao for you on my way, and all I ask is your help in handling a few minor issues afterward.”

Jia Yan’s reply filled the air with authority, almost as if he were saying: I only lack a few hands to assist; I’ll solve all the tasks you have to do, you just need to play supportive roles!

While the other party was still hesitating, Jia Yan increased his speed to type with fierce body movements.

This time, he sent a message before the other party could even think of what to say!

“First of all, I want to ask if you guys have some kind of virus or poison in your possession, something like…

CHr-379 perhaps?”

The two individuals, still teetering and deliberating, were almost scared to the point of collapsing under their chairs when they saw this message!

The opponent was too strong, knowing even this.

It meant that he had virtually all their information at his fingertips!

The bespectacled young man was breaking out in a cold sweat.

He sat in front of the computer and replied instead of his bearded companion, “Since you already know about us having the CHr-379, why ask such things…

We do indeed have this newly developed viral variant of the CHr-379 poison.

It can kill a human pretending to be infected with an undetectable insect-mediated virus, making it hard to discern that it’s actually a murder!”

An insect-mediated virus, huh?

Jia Yan at the computer fell into deep thought.

He had gleaned this information about CHr-379 from a conversation he overheard during his car ride.

From the name and the way the assassins spoke about it, he could tell it was some kind of virus or poison.

The deliberate questioning was meant to extract information about this poison, while also intimidating the two assassins further!

I know even the smallest details about you; can you see the vast gap between us, and would you dare resist or scheme against me?

Jia Yan’s consecutive dialogues were not lies!

He would kill Yu Tao for them, and then they would provide some assistance for him.

Of course, this ‘little help’ to the two assassins might seem trivial, as if they were just two subordinates that Jia Yan needed because he was a few hands short.

But to Jia Yan, who was merely a ‘mosquito,’ this ‘little help’ would be of unimaginable significance!

His current capacity restricted him from many actions, if not for their assistance, his only choice would be to obtain virulent viruses from hospital at the risk of his life and then infect Yu Yuan!

However, this course of action would risk not only his life but also a quick death for Yu Yuan.

Dying from a virus infection would be far less painful than Jia Yan’s own death.

The thought of Yu Yuan dying painlessly galled Jia Yan!

Therefore, he came up with the current plan!

He would obtain from the assassins a poison that was safe for mosquitoes, then he would help them kill Yu Tao!

Afterward, the two of them would help him deal with the bastard Yu Yuan!

Anyway, Yu Tao, not only connived and abetted his son committing crimes, but also lied about Jia Yan’s death being an accident, he probably wasn’t a nice person.

Consider it a public service to kill him!

Killing Yu Tao would not only gain the trust of the two assassins but also cause a living nightmare for Yu Yuan after Ding Li Meng breaks off their engagement!

Then, it would be time for his personal revenge!

To accomplish all this, the help from the two assassins is absolutely necessary!

There is one condition for all this, he must find a virus that suits his needs.

So Jia Yan asked about CHr-379, the virus he overheard about in the car.

He would use it if it’s suitable, but if it also harms mosquitoes, he’ll have to forgo it.

He would then ask the two assassins if they had any virus that would only harm humans!

He could think up any excuse, such as protecting the ecology, the environment, or safeguarding stray dogs that randomly eat things off the ground.

Even if the assassins were skeptical, they had to help him acquire it!

Because they were terrified by the possibility of Jia Yan revealing their information to the Yu family and they had no choice but to trust him and assist him wholeheartedly, regardless of what Jia Yan says!

Having settled on the important issue of the virus wouldn’t the rest be easy to handle?

A mosquito carrying a severe virus.

Especially since this mosquito possessed the intellect of a human and a robust physique that normal mosquitoes could never have.

Jia Yan had faith, with his capabilities, he could surely find the opportunity to eliminate the father-son duo of the Yu family!

Actually, he had already formulated all these plans during his journey to the Geshan Community to rescue his sister!

Of course, there were many steps involved to carry them out!

From finding a usable computer to adding the assassins on QQ, any mistake in these steps would cause all his prior efforts to go down the drain!

Intimidation was something Jia Yan had faith in since he possessed so much information about the two assassins!

Obviously, there were tons of steps left, and it all hinges on the poison!

After hearing the assassins admit that they had CHr-379, Jia Yan sent the following message: “Send me the specifics of this virus!”

The information responded by the assassins made Jia Yan’s heart leap with joy!

“Hello, the CHr-379 we have is specifically developed by our organization to poison the targets.

It’s a ‘Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus’.

Its main body is an insect virus, meaning only insects get infected by it.

CHr-379 is derived from a locust virus and it only harms locusts among all insects.

After extensive research, our organization has managed to convert these virus particles into a form that is also lethal to humans.

Also, the cause of death is currently undetectable in medical science.

It can only be detected as an insect-mediated viral infection, but it cannot be determined to be a result of an assassin’s activity.”

A Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus?!

An Virus effective only on locusts?!

After reading the message, Jia Yan immediately looked up ‘Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus’ online and found it!

He quickly scanned through the information, then switched back to the chat interface to type a line cautiously.

“Your CHr-379, does it harm any other species besides humans and locusts?”

“We haven’t done many sample studies, but the organization has conducted sample research on dozens of common insects and mammals.

It’s found that CHr-379 does not harm them.

So, one can roughly conclude that this viral variant is harmless to species other than humans and locists.”

“Very well, then at about nine o’clock, bring a small bottle to the place I specify and open the cover there.

Don’t ask why!”

Jia Yan gave the order directly!

Then, he sent the address of the unfinished building to the other party…

As for how to kill Yu Tao next, and what he wanted the two assassins to do, Jia Yan did not say!

Because by then…

Dawn will break!

If the host, Fan Haofei wakes up and sees that the computer screen is filled with a bunch of messy software with a QQ chat box open, he might faint from shock!

So, Jia Yan hastily discussed these matters with the other party and then closed QQ and the other programs and left.

After that, he took a bus to the place where he once died.

Then, the two assassins arrived in a van.

The transfer of the items was completed!

…

Jia Yan watched as the van of the killers gradually moved away…

He flew back to the room.

Looking at the small bottle of liquid on the ground, a sparkle flashed in Jia Yan’s compound eyes!

This small bottle of liquid is his strongest weapon at the moment!

He believes that the two assassins won’t fool him.

After all, they would never dream that the user would swallow it into their stomach and then inject others.

Even the most careful assassin could never suspect that it was a mosquito on the other end of the computer.

So, tampering with the liquid would be pointless.

Even if they turned it into poison, would the threat to them actually inject themselves?

Only a fool would do that!

“But, I still can’t completely trust them…”

A chilling look appeared in Jia Yan’s eyes, perhaps the cold-blooded nature of his species was affecting his wisdom.

Jia Yan flew out of the room!

His gaze began to scan.

There are many bushes around the unfinished building, and there are insects flying everywhere.

Soon, Jia Yan’s eyes turned icy cold as he found his target – a Chinese Anopheles Mosquito of the same species as him!

Of course, compared to the current Jia Yan, this Chinese Anopheles Mosquito is small, not even the length of his one leg.

Jia Yan approached it and within the time he could react, he quickly trapped the mosquito between his long legs!

This mosquito is a male, it couldn’t believe that his giant counterpart would attack him and struggled in shock!

But how could his strength compare to Jia Yan, who is not only large but also mutated?

After a while, Jia Yan flew back to the room where the potion was kept with the mosquito.

He stuffed the whole mosquito into the bottle!
