Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

15: Chapter 15 Mosquito Variation!

[Seeking Votes]_1 15: Chapter 15 Mosquito Variation!

[Seeking Votes]_1 A henchman of the Northeast Wild Tiger steps out of the restroom, then picks up a dustpan and broom.

In front of the trash can, he seems to remember something.

With a look of distaste, he picks the cap of the potion bottle from the dustpan and then screws it tightly back onto the bottle!

Although he doesn’t get along with the bespectacled man, he gets the job done without a hitch when he puts his mind to it.

However, what he doesn’t know is that right by his foot, tucked in the gap of the trash can, a mosquito that has completely drained the potion residue in the bottle he was holding, is struggling between life and death!

Jia Yan experiences an unprecedented, extreme pain and his organs are on the verge of failing.

The heart, formed by his tubular arteries, beats rapidly, pumping blood to his rapidly changing organs.

But even this rapid circulation can’t keep up with the changes!

Because the stomach full of purple-red potion is gradually being absorbed by his body, transforming his body in every possible way!

His heart can’t keep up with the rate of consumption!

But it has to try to keep up!

A successful transformation means survival!

Failure is death!

“I still have a score to settle!

I still need to visit my family!

I have so many things I want to do!

Even if I’m trapped in this bug’s body, I don’t want to die without a fight!”

Under the torment of life and death, Jia Yan’s determination solidifies!

Because he is a man who has tasted death, he understands it more fully than anyone else!

With death comes absolute nothingness.

Not only do you fail to accomplish anything, but you, yourself, disappear too…

That terrifying sensation… Jia Yan doesn’t want to experience it again!

He knew that chances for rebirth didn’t exactly grow on trees.

Maybe if he died this time, it would be for good!

“Therefore!

I must not die!”

Drawing on his intense willpower, he continues to resist death!

Ironically, this fierce determination is fueled by his fear of death itself!

The little mosquito writhes and quivers in the crevice between the trash can and the train wall.

Every time he is on the verge of losing consciousness, he thinks of happy things!

Whether it’s the life of a larva he led in this life, the amusing anecdotes from school in his previous life, or the jokes shared with his little sister.

These memories have always helped him through the toughest of times, allowing him to stay conscious and battle the pain!

As time slowly passes…

Jia Yan doesn’t know how long it has been; only that the train has made several stops and there have been multiple changes of passengers.

The sound of human chatter, to his nearly unconscious self, had morphed into unconvincing musical notes that were more irritating than pleasing.

Sometimes, they were so unbearable they gave him a splitting headache!

Jia Yan endured the pain, not realizing that while he battled with the pain, his mosquito body was beginning to stir!

Under the effects of the medication, his exoskeleton began to undergo changes, reminiscent of a pupa transformation!

His body slowly thickened and grew, and his internal organs became tougher!

Even his delicate mouthparts had grown more savage, with a developing resemblance to, or even surpassing, the female mouthparts!

Among animals, only insects have this kind of rapid transformation potential!

Because they grow along with the process of metamorphosis!

The transformation continues!

People come and go on the express train.

At the height of the scorching noon sun, the train arrives at a small town railway station.

A thin-faced man walks out of the sleeper compartment.

From a glance, he looks like your everyday individual.

No one walking past him would ever suspect that he is a globally renowned assassin!

With a barely visible smile playing on his lips – seemingly the bearer of good news – he walks out of the sleeper compartment and heads towards the exit.

The man’s luggage isn’t heavy, as if he didn’t carry anything burdensome with him.

He walks past the inconspicuous trash can, then steps out of the train.

He disembarks!

Two stops later, several men surrounding a robust young man also disembark from the sleeping carriage.

With joyous smiles on their faces, they exit the train.

They have no idea that their meeting today has not only advanced their agenda smoothly but has also unwittingly created a being in the future that is beyond their wildest imaginations!

Whether they’ll regret it or not, only time will tell!

Gradually, darkness starts to fall.

As the sun sets, the train racing on the tracks is bathed in golden sunlight.

Most of the train’s passengers have changed.

The chatter that filled the air shifted from a northern accent to a southern one.

The only constant was the constant hustle and bustle of the people in the train.

People everywhere!

Only the small crack of the trash can was left alone, with no one caring enough to peer inside.

It felt as though this was the only quiet place in this otherwise bustling place.

The life or death of the little insect tucked away inside had no relation whatsoever to outside world.

Finally, as the night fully descends.

A male Anopheles mosquito lies inside the crevice of the trash can, all six legs in the air, absolutely still.

It looked exactly like a corpse!

Suddenly, one of the front legs of the male Chinese Anopheles Mosquito twitched violently!

Then his right foreleg, also twitched!

A moment later, all six of the skyward legs moved one after another!

The blurry world in front of Jia Yan was gradually becoming clear.

He stared blankly at the confined space in front of him.

“Where am I…” He was somewhat confused.

“Right, I reincarnated into a larva, then underwent a pupa transformation, and became a mosquito.”

“I’m on a train!”

The Chinese Anopheles Mosquito suddenly turned around and climbed up from the ground where it was lying on its back!

“What IS this potion?!”

Jia Yan almost immediately detected the difference in his body.

His body felt as if it was filled with explosive power.

Every move he made, every exertion of strength was unlike before!

He found that his point of view had become higher.

It seemed that he had grown a lot in size!

Then, his legs also became much thicker!

The turn he took just now, was almost an afterthought.

He used barely any force, and he turned over!

Jia Yan lowered his head and looked at his body.

The exoskeleton had completely changed.

Not only had they become larger and thicker, but just by simply looking at them, they no longer resembled the shell of a mosquito but instead resembled the shell of a beetle, hard, glossy, dark, and it seemed as if they were about to attack humans!

“Power!” Jia Yan lifted his front leg and scratched the wall of the express train next to him!

Squeak squeak squeak squeak!

The friction between his forefoot and the wall caused a metallic scraping sound.

Jia Yan was surprised to find that his front foot had actually scraped off some of the paint from the wall!

To humans, this might have been a normal occurrence, but for a mosquito, this was absolutely unusual!

Jia Yan’s body was already a rather powerful existence amongst Aanopheles mosquitoes, but now, he was completely a Superman of this mosquito species!

“The effect of this potion is too exaggerated!” Jia Yan estimated that he could now fly carrying objects of five to six grams.

After a while, Jia Yan flew out of the small crevice.

This mosquito is now more and more easily discovered!

Jia Yan, who had grown again, had a body length of 1.5 centimeters, and his whole body exuded a faint luster.

The mouthparts were longer than all male mosquitoes, even surpassing female mosquitoes.

No current type of mosquito could compare with him!

This was no longer a mosquito, but a giant mosquito monster that had evolved!

Jia Yan flew in the air, he didn’t feel the outside world was safe.

But Jia Yan couldn’t help it!

This power was about to explode from his body.

If he didn’t vent a little, he couldn’t stand it at all!

Hum hum hum hum!

A mosquito as fast as a shadow shuttled quickly in the train carriage!

“Mosquito!” Someone screamed.

“That’s too big to be a mosquito, grab a shoe and hit it!”

People screamed, but while they were searching for things to swat insects with, Jia Yan’s speedy figure had passed by!

No one dared to use his bare hands to swat at Jia Yan anymore!

Let’s face it, if you saw a 1.5-centimeter insect, would you use your palm to slap it?

That’s how humans are, when insects get to this size, they don’t dare to hit them with their hands.

“There’s insecticide over there, I’ll go and spray it!”

There was a commotion in the carriage, and a train conductor immediately turned around to go fetch the insecticide.

“I’ve had enough fun.

Let’s get out of here!” Jia Yan, who had been flying wildly in the air and venting his power, had now had enough.

Hearing that the train conductor was going to get insecticide, he didn’t dare to bet if he currently feared insecticide or not.

He quickly turned around and when somebody opened the door, he slipped through the crack and flew to the next carriage!

“Where’s the insect?” By the time the train conductor here brought out the insecticide, they found that the ‘insects’ shadow was gone.

Jia Yan had already flown away, not knowing where he had hidden!

“Hahaha!

It feels so good!

This power!

This feeling!”

Inside another gap in a trash bin, Jia Yan was incredibly excited!

He knew, he had bet right!

Although the process was sadistically painful, even almost lethal.

But the reward he now received was beyond imagination!

“I’m no ordinary Anopheles mosquito anymore, this mouth, it can definitely suck blood!”

“Wait and see, Yu Yuan!

I am coming for you…”

To be continued.
