Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4036  Chancing Upon A Great Idea?

Dalila, Tina, and Myria saw Davis go silent.

They didnʼt disturb, instead talking among themselves with soul transmissions.

”Arenʼt you glad, Dalila?” Myria smiled.

”Hehe~ I am overjoyed… donʼt tell anyone else that I cried…” Dalila appeared embarrassed. She turned to look at Tina.

”Are you not going to say about the lucky breakthrough we chanced upon while we were exhausted?”

”Well,” Tina shrugged, ”We did almost pull our hairs from being unable to find a method to bring harmony to the chaos-destruction pill. Thereʼs no need to be hasty about it. I first need to fully comprehend my Four Elements Soul Physique, and then I can proceed to the next step.”

”Indeed.” Myria nodded, ”The Five Elements Treasure gave us a hint to fuse the chaos and destruction attributes, and Dalila helped decode it, finally concocting a pill formula. In another perspective, the Five Elements Treasure is capable of much more. Chaos begets five elements, but five elements is an incredibly unstable realm, causing five elements to quickly diffuse into all kinds of laws. Hence, it is said that chaos begets all laws, but in truth, five elements give form to the ethereal density of chaos, making it much more powerful than chaos when it is in its stable form. This Five Elements Treasure is such a treasure. To see five different attributes in a fused state and existing in harmony is absolutely incredible, even miraculous.”

”Thatʼs why it is a Law above Supreme Laws. I doubt we wouldʼve even chanced upon it in our lifetime if it werenʼt for the World Master placing it there.”

She exhaled, shaking her head ruefully. She also had a hint of guilt in her eyes since she spoke of some things factually, giving them karmic burden. However, it was necessary since they already chanced upon such a treasure.

Dalila nodded, ”The difficulty of refining the Five Elements Treasure into a pill is only slightly more difficult than what we achieved, but to design and incorporate it into aiding Tinaʼs soul physique into a Five Elements Law Physique is a feat that is nearly impossible for the current us.”

”The same way— only he can deal with the chaos-destruction pill weʼre making. No, he should learn how to deal with it while swallowing, or he would explode into a bloody mess. Thatʼs how much we stepped into dangerous territories, dealing with laws that go above Supreme Laws.”

”Exactly.” Myria nodded.

They turned to look at Davis worriedly. It was because they chose an unorthodox method to concoct the pill he desired that they got to theorize a pill formula this quickly. Otherwise, it wouldʼve taken thousands of years to actually find a perfect method to fuse the highly berserk chaos and destruction attribute, even with their genius talents.

”…”

Meanwhile, Davis was fully engrossed in his own world, thinking of how to improve his Essence Gathering Cultivation.

ʼMy Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique is already at a much-desired equilibrium, and introducing another huge factor into it is just making things difficult. I havenʼt even learned Obliteration Laws to satisfaction, for heavenʼs sake. All my efforts for the past year were focused on making my Everlasting Samsara Tribunal Soul Physique more powerful after successfully creating the Chaotic Genesis Physique…ʼ

Davis inwardly grumbled. He had made waves in comprehending Firestorm Laws, the fusion of Fire Laws and Lightning Laws, but not Obliteration Laws, which was the fusion of three different Laws, namely Fire Laws, Lightning Laws, and Wind Laws.

He had made some progress in Storm Laws, the fusion of Wind Laws and Lightning Laws.

However, to comprehend Obliteration Laws, he must be capable of fusing Firestorm Laws and Storm Laws to the slightest degree.

As long as he could do it, it was like inserting a formation core into a formation. The puzzle would fit, and his Obliteration Law Physique would rumble into existence, finally allowing him to use obliteration energy like he would use reincarnation energy from the source of his physique.

But even before he did that, to consider introducing annihilative heavenly yang seemed like folly. But at the same time, he knew that if he could achieve a Yang Fusion of Obliteration Laws, it would be tremendously powerful!

All of his immortal essence energy carried annihilative properties, and so did annihilative heavenly yang, so he felt Yang Fusion was definitely possible.

However, learning all of these would take a lot of time.

Davis was wondering if he should just bombard his essence physique with annihilative heavenly yang and create a new one.

That way, he could quickly comprehend annihilative heavenly yang and use it for Yang Fusion, but if he did that, there was a great risk of his essence cultivation becoming crippled, and add on to that injury, he could become impotent.

”…”

Davis groaned. He was at an impasse again.

No matter what kind of way he thought, the risk was high.

It wasnʼt a matter like before where he was weak. His Essence Gathering Cultivation was already strong enough. He didnʼt have time to unlock its full potential yet. After all, he hasnʼt learned Obliteration Laws yet, keeping the Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique somewhat dormant.

Therefore, going after the annihilative heavenly yang seemed entirely greedy and not one bit wise.

He was sure Myria would say the same thing if she heard his thoughts, even berating him for it.

Even now, he could feel their worried gazes for some reason. Maybe they were worried about his health from being affected by the covenant.

Still, not matching gazes with them, he continued to think.

It was foolish to incorporate heavenly yang and also foolish to not use it while having it. He was caught between a rock and a hard place.

ʼWait… wait, wait!ʼ Sometime later, he finally noticed what had been making him so hesitant, ʼTo reach Empyrean Stage, all three cultivations need to be at a minor equilibrium, not greatly disturbing each other because there would only be one vessel covering all three cultivation systems unlike the one we have for Essence Gathering Cultivation and Body Tempering Cultivation and another one for Soul Forging Cultivation…ʼ

It was for the same reason Myria didnʼt follow the Transcendent Cultivation Method even after finally reviving through Ellia. The Transcendent Cultivation Method partially fuses all three cultivations in the beginning, so any changes made to one cultivation system need to be accommodated by the other two.

This made it difficult for anyone practicing multiple Laws to progress.

Myria had to create her Eternal Life Body Physique if she needed her body to be in equilibrium with her soul or every time she died, she theorized her body would never revive and would endlessly split into new beings, giving birth to new souls that are unaccounted for. The Transcendent Cultivation Method might not have worked for her since she needed time to introduce the Eternal Life Body Physique before the partial fusion solidified her three cultivations, disallowing her to create it.

She didnʼt want to take a huge risk.

It was because of the partial fusion that rising through levels and stages became easier in the Transcendent Cultivation Method, but for those who are pursuing relativity and change, it is a nightmare. Thatʼs why the common populace quickly latched onto the Transcendent Cultivation Method.

Who had the time and wealth to incorporate multiple laws into their dantians or even physiques? Were they even capable of it with their measly talent? They could quickly make progress as long as they learned one main Law and focused on it.

Nonetheless, thinking about reaching the Empyrean Stage, Davis had a spark of brilliance, now knowing what to do with annihilative heavenly yang.

To confirm his thoughts, he couldnʼt help but look at Myria.

”Is it possible for Immortal Vessels to have attributes?”

Myria frowned as she saw him stand up and look excited like a kid, but for some reason, she felt that he was up to no good. He didnʼt know what he thought all this while, making her want to know badly.

Still, she answered his questions.

”It is possible, but the Immortal Cultivation Method mostly produces an attributeless immortal vessel so that it accommodates whatever you throw inside it. No one would go out of their way to make it have attributes since it is like sealing clear water with mud, causing the ability to use energy from within to drop, but there is always an insignificant attribute that always exists within the immortal vessel.”

Davisʼs brows widened, ”Itʼs yin or yang, isnʼt it?”

Myria softly nodded, ”For men, the immortal vessel is attuned to yang, and for women, the immortal vessel is attuned to yin. This doesnʼt change anything for our cultivations since it is only a result of our biological makeup. Nothing more, nothing less-”

”Pfft, hahahaha!”

Davis suddenly burst out laughing loudly, causing Myria to be stunned. Tina and Dalila were stunned as well.

ʼThis decides it! My Immortal Vessel will be imbued with annihilative heavenly yang, forming a thick wall of cement to all three of my cultivations!ʼ
