Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4033  The Desired Pill

After hearing about Lilliana Rayton, Myria couldnʼt help but frown, her face sometimes even churning with disgust as though regretting asking about her.

Even while sealed, she had done evil deeds in the Three-Eyed Hydra Lower Realm and offered Davis three women while displaying them like naked trophies. It made Myria enraged.

”Never go near her again. If she can bewitch other Exalts, then you are also not a match for her. Even if her powers are sealed, it is too dangerous.”

”Alright, alright. I wonʼt.”

Davis nodded repeatedly, reassuring her. The number of times Myriaʼs expression changed really made him know that she looked at Lilliana Rayton with absolute disgust. On the other hand, he guessed he needed to inwardly apologize to Vereina since he imagined that they could deal with the old witch later, after ten years or many years down the line, whenever he was powerful enough.

He was also interested in the old witchʼs undying technique. Of course, it wasnʼt like he was going to be a man whore who preyed on hundreds and thousands of women. First of all, he didnʼt have the Violent Punitive Soul Physique to be able to use it, but he wanted the insights to help him understand and form his own undying technique if it was ever possible.

As long as she was sealed, he guessed her powers shouldnʼt exceed an Early Stage Divine Exalt, so he was confident he could end her with Fallen Heaven. Maybe she was even weaker than she portrayed herself to be.

For killing a sealed Divergent who was stuck in the Shadow Dimension for literally forever, there shouldnʼt be much danger to twisting fate, or so he thought, but with Myriaʼs words, he knew he needed to be careful. If Lilliana Rayton could be successful in controlling him through Charm Laws, then Fallen Heaven was hers to use. He couldnʼt accidentally give her a stroke of luck, could he?

She was sealed shut and tight. There was no changing that unless she obtained Vereina. That was why he guessed the Celestial Transcendent didnʼt pay any heed to her anymore. The chances of her getting revived were near to zero. He also most likely had a setup that would let him know if she escaped from her confines.

Davis wondered what had happened to the Celestial Transcendentʼs avatar.

The latter said he would leave the third layer but would it be now or later? After all, he wasnʼt the only Divergent to hunt in the third layer.

He was a bit worried about Saintess Lunaria, but she was with her overpowered disciples. Surely, even if they arenʼt able to defeat the Celestial Transcendentʼs avatar, they should be able to delay him and escape as they see fit, with all kinds of powers to throw at him.

Laphria Rinmeiʼs Ethereal World Weaver Physique even twisted reality to the point that her energy can maintain the change. He felt there was no way they were getting caught, but this was the Celestial Transcendent they were talking about! There was no telling what kinds of techniques he had in his arsenal to be able to counter them all!

”Good.” Myria nodded as she saw he really wouldnʼt go near her.

At least in these ten years, she knew he wouldnʼt go because of the covenant, causing her to smile wryly as she didnʼt imagine that the covenant would prove to be somewhat useful.

”Alright, call in Tina and Dalila. They will explain to you about the pill you desire.”

”…”

Davis held his breath.

A second later, he wondered why she wouldnʼt say it of her own volition and couldnʼt help but ask.

”Would you not say it from your own lips?” He raised his brows, gazing at her with full of love.

Myria smilingly shook her head, ”I would if it was my achievement but it isnʼt. Honestly, you managed to find a monstrous pill genius. Her future achievements would be far more exaggerated that numerous Upper Realms would be willing to take her under her wing and offer an extreme amount of wealth in order to have her remain because even the wealthiest would eye her.”

”Dalila?” Davis blinked.

”Indeed.” Myria nodded, ”I passed the Immortal Emperor Grade Immaculate Alchemist Exam long back before I was exposed as a Divergent, but Dalila had already caught up to me at that time and is almost going to exceed me. In some cases, she is already superior, especially after being exposed to the ridiculous resources Evelynn and the others brought home and the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill.”

”She had a stroke of luck or is a pure genius as she comprehended Elementary Intent of Immaculate Alchemy Laws, One with Alchemy, which means she has flawless memory over the myriad of ingredients she learned and knows their intricacies at her fingertips and can use, mix and amplify as though they are her arms and legs. The chances she would make mistakes are nearly zero, so I know if she takes the Immortal Emperor Grade Immaculate Alchemist Exam, she will pass the fifth level with ease. On the other hand, I barely managed to clear the fourth level.”

”Woah…” Davis exhaled, his smile blooming into a prideful expression.

He certainly didnʼt expect anything from Dalila when he took her in. He found her adorable, and she and Sophie were friends in addition to Nora, so from their recommendation and also to save Dalila from an undesirable marriage, he snatched her.

At that time, he certainly wasnʼt thinking how godly she would become. Out of all his beauties, he could say without a doubt that she had a huge stroke of luck in terms of skill and occupation. After all, even his own women considered Shea the luckiest for getting pregnant the first time.

Nonetheless, he wondered where Myria stood.

”Arenʼt you also capable of clearing the fifth level of the Immortal Emperor Grade Immaculate Alchemist Exam?”

Having absorbed a few geniusesʼ memories, Davis knew what Myria was talking about.

The Immaculate Alchemist Exam was the highest tier of exam an alchemist could take in their respective grades.

For example, if a Pill King takes the Immortal King Grade Immaculate Alchemist Exam, they would be called an Immaculate Pill King as long as they pass the fourth level. In the same way, a Pill Emperor who takes the Immortal Emperor Grade Immaculate Alchemist Exam and passes the fourth level would be called an Immaculate Pill Emperor.

However, it wasnʼt like the fourth level was the last level. The Immaculate Alchemist Exams have five levels in their respective grades.

To pass the first level, the alchemist must know and be aware of the properties of ninety percent of the ingredients that are recorded in the galaxy.

To pass the second level, the alchemist must know ninety-five percent of the ingredients and have had to create an Advanced Tier Pill.

To pass the third level, they must know ninety-eight percent of the ingredients and have had to create a Perfect Tier Pill.

To pass the fourth level, they must know ninety-nine percent of the ingredients, find or create a new ingredient of similar grade, and register it. They mustʼve certainly comprehended Immaculate Alchemy Laws and, if not, need to have created an Ascended Tier Pill.

To pass the fifth level, they must know ninety-nine point nine percent of the ingredients, find or create a new ingredient of similar grade, and register it. They mustʼve certainly comprehended Immaculate Alchemy Laws and, if not, need to have created a Spirit Tier Pill.

Only if one passed the fourth level could they add the prefix of Immaculate, giving them great honor, pride, and privilege as all the powers in the world would invite them with a silver plate in their hands.

Back then, Dalila passed the third level, and it earned her much praise and wealth, putting her in the spotlight that the pill sects wanted her to marry into their power. In the Fifty-Two Territories, even reaching the third level was considered to be Immaculate due to the smaller number of ingredients available compared to the First Haven World or the True Immortal World.

But now, she has come a long way even though just three years have passed. Of course, she may have spent a lot of time in time chambers studying and learning the myriad of ingredients scattered all across the world, but even with that, her speed was still mindboggling.

Even Myria indirectly admitted she was a bit inferior when it came to alchemy back then.
