Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4030 Missed You

Shea was also a teacher in the school that was yet to be official. However, using her avatar, she taught all the children the fundamentals of cultivation, from understanding meridians, circulating through them, and other internal techniques, she took care of them.

Then, there were additional classes where she also taught the etiquette of nobles. She was also from a noble family within the Golden Crow Clan, after all.

Natalya took lessons on history, rituals, and ceremonies.

Isabella and Shirley taught them basic martial arts and armament lessons.

Zestria and Bylai taught them basic strategy and military tactics. As heirs to their family line, they were well aware of battle formations.

Tia taught them about a lot of phenomena, some that were not even seen in the First Haven World.

Ellia taught them basic bestiary, alchemy, and medicine, something she didnʼt learn as a maid but knew from Myriaʼs memories.

Katherine was always near them, protecting them, but she was also having fun.

Except for Katherine, they all used their avatars or soul bodies to teach, so it didnʼt take their cultivation time.

Being a part of the childrenʼs lives for the past month using the avatar, he saw so many things happen and actively involved himself in teaching a few things but ended up teaching more and made it confusing, causing him to be kicked out. There were steps to learning, after all.

In fact, Eterna, Celestia, and Aurelia were taking advanced classes, something they would take when they were ten or twelve years old. They were fast learners, but he wanted them to slow down initially, especially Aurelia, since she was nearing advanced classes at a very young age. Eterna and Celestia knew the danger they were in and obediently learned, but Aurelia was different.

Aurelia was incredibly studious and hardworking, almost reaching their level shortly by herself.

He was sad that he couldnʼt provide her with a much more fulfilling and fun childhood, but it almost seemed like she was made for this life.

Still, he didnʼt regret bringing them into this world one bit, even if it was dangerous. Their smiles- no, their presence alone filled him with immense determination to not give up one bit, giving him endless energy. Needless to say, his beauties who gave birth were much more fulfilled in terms of satisfaction.

They got what they wanted, the fruit of love between him and them, so they were fully able to focus on their goals.

Nonetheless, with the children having practically swarmed him, his beauties werenʼt able to get near him. Still, it wasnʼt like they lacked someone to talk to, so they were busy socializing. On the other hand, his children made him explain his adventures once again, but the tone was much more tame.

He also had his avatar, so he went around entertaining and fulfilling the role of the head of the family by discussing a few things.

There were also Flamerose and Frostrose. They were with Shirley. He apologized to Flamerose for having Fire Phoenix meat on the menu, but she shook her head, aware that it had become a staple food in this family because of having too much Fire Phoenix meat in store. He thanked her for her understanding and moved to Esvele and Illumina.

He introduced the two of them, and Esvele agreed to take Illumina under her wing.

However, the harem requested that Illumina seal her cultivation for the time being, and Illumina didnʼt reject it. She understood that trust was an issue and swore to earn it. Her words already got a bit of their approval.

He also saw many other matters that required his attention.

Finally, Davis finished feeding the children. It took an hour before he bid them goodbye for some time. The children were naturally not amused and followed him, so he suggested playing hide and seek, rigged it, and became one of the hiders before moving along with Myria to her room.

Tina and Dalila also followed Myria as though it was a natural thing to do. Davis could see how close they were as a part of the alchemy team. They appeared inseparable, but he steeled his heart and blocked them at the entrance.

”From this point on, only Saintesses should enter.”

”Wha-”Tina and Dalila parted their lips. They looked as if they were going to hit him.

”Just kidding,” Davis chuckled, ”Wait outside for some time. I will call you two later since Iʼm going to discuss the next stage. Trust me, itʼs not good to learn before one becomes an Empyrean.”

”Okay~”

”Fine.”

The two of them were reluctant but gave in. They turned around and walked away but suddenly flinched.

*Paah~* *Paah~*

Two resounding yet soothing sounds could be heard as their butts were slapped by him.

”You-!”

When they turned to look back though, his figure was already gone, and the door just closed.

”That rogue~” Tina complained as she rubbed her back. She wondered if there was an imprint already as she felt a stinging pain that quelled quite quickly.

However, she saw Dalila shaking in her sandals, appearing to have been turned on as she bit her lips.

”…” Tina blinked, her cheeks turning rosy. It seemed that hiding her embarrassment by cursing him was not necessary.

After all, they were both horny.

”My cute spirit blossom, are you alright?”

On the other side of the door, Davis walked towards Myria and sat beside her on the couch. Myria appeared stiff, but with Davis grabbing her shoulder and pulling her into his embrace softly, she revealed an unconcealable smile.

”I missed you~”

”Not as much as you, but I wanted to see you so much.” Davis kissed the back of her head and hugged her, ”The Celestial Transcendent sure did ask about you. He seems to care a lot about your life and death, unwilling to harm you, or it could just be my imagination.”

”Of course. My father knew the Celestial Transcendent. I even called him Supreme Uncle in my childhood. I donʼt know if they can be called friends, but they were definitely close acquaintances. Their relationship may have broken due to me. Still, ultimately, I was a close acquaintanceʼs daughter, someone whom he had seen as a little child, so he may have had some misgivings since he didnʼt bother to help me and even hunted me or acted like hunting me in the Upper Realms. Ah, I didnʼt have trouble in the Lower Realms since, during that time, the Celestial Transcendent didnʼt descend.”

Myria explained and hurriedly added the last part, afraid that he would misunderstand.

The Celestial Transcendent didnʼt hunt her but didnʼt help her either. It could be said that he practically helped her escape to the Lower Realms by making things difficult in the Upper Realms.

”…”

Davis shook his head, ”I was thinking about the ʼwishʼ he mentioned, wondering if it came from your father.”

”…” Myria blinked.

”Nonetheless,” Davis continued, ”I want to ask you. Are you ready?”

Myria looked at his face solemnly before she sat straight and closed her eyes, ”Speak.”

”Divine Exalted Stage.”

”…!”

Myria shuddered ever so lightly. Numerous memories that she never knew she had came flooding in like a thunderstorm. She couldnʼt believe these memories disappeared from her mind after so many years, only to return now upon saying something that directly destroyed the karma that sealed her memories.
