Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4026  Getting Two

Davis stared at Mingzhi, his eyes full of disbelief.

”Happy?” He blinked. He slowly pointed at someone else, ”My brain is stunned into silence from too much happiness. After all, Lea is also pregnant…”

”…!”

Mingzhi and the others were shocked as they looked behind.

Mingzhi hurriedly ran past Davis and held Lea, her eyes wide with shock and joy, ”When did you get pregnant?”

”Three days ago… when did you-” Lea was also stunned as she responded subconsciously, not expecting Mingzhi to get pregnant.

It had been two weeks since they left.

”Two days after you people left!”

Mingzhi said gleefully, her face full of excitement to have someone accompany her on her journey to motherhood. She had just become closer to Lea, so she couldnʼt emphasize how much delight this gave her.

Instantly, everyone left Davis and surrounded Lea and Mingzhi, asking Lea many questions.

On the other hand, Davis still stood stunned.

Two days after he left? He couldnʼt help but feel sorry for Mingzhi, wondering how she fared all thing long as she wouldʼve been eager for him to know.

She didnʼt even report it to his avatar, and his avatar only knew through someone else later on, but the fact that she didnʼt want to say it to his avatar said more than he needed to know. She wanted to tell it straight to his face first, but he never appeared.

Still, he wondered when his dogshit luck changed enough to impregnate two beauties in the same month.

It must be known that he was an Immortal Emperor whose chances of birthing an offspring was 0.001%, which means one out of a hundred thousand tries. Mingzhi was also an Immortal Emperor. That meant that out of a hundred thousand ejaculations or yang essence absorption from the egg, only one might succeed.

The two must succeed at the same time; the seed must convince the ovum to enter, and even if the ovum is convinced, the ovum must be able to withstand the change from the seed in order to stop itself from collapsing over the sheer explosion of a myriad of biological and mysterious occurrences, the most mysterious one being a soul fusing with it, bestowed by the reincarnation cycle.

It was such a difficult and rare explosion of life.

Yet, he impregnated Fiora, Iesha, Mingzhi, and Lea in the same year.

He felt more pride as a man, but beyond that, he was stupefied.

ʼCould it be the more danger I am in, the more fate awards me with children so as to make me more vulnerable...?ʼ

Davis really started to doubt.

He slowly raised his hand and held his chin, thinking he made the right decision to buy ten yearsʼ worth of time with his life on the line.

This should help his children grow up and be able to protect themselves. He could not enter a time chamber because his base prowess was already at the Empyrean Stage, but his children should be able to grow faster.

If they spent ten whole years in a time chamber until they reached the peak of the Immortal Emperor Stage, that should be thirty or more years. After all, the speed of time was different for different stages. A mortal could grow thirty times as fast with the high-grade temporal formations they possessed, but for an Immortal Emperor, it was barely three times fast.

For an Empyrean, it was impossible to enter a time chamber since the mortal layer suppressed their passage of time to normality. Even in the Upper Realms, it was barely two times, or so he heard. He was not sure. However, he also heard an Empyrean needed to go to the Greater Realms in order to be able to cultivate in faster time chambers.

Turning around, he walked towards Mingzhi, and after passing the others, he embraced her from behind and hugged her.

Placing a kiss on her cheek, he uttered, ”Iʼm sorry for not being there on that day, Mingzhi.”

Mingzhi turned her head and pecked his lips, ”Iʼm not bothered.”

”…”

Davis wondered how deep in trouble he was. He looked into her eyes, ”I promised to return within three weeks and returned within two weeks. Forgive me, please?”

Mingzhi stared at him but slowly released a smile, ”Iʼm just kidding. I was worried you would never come back after making me pregnant because of some odd flags, but you came back. That alone is enough for me. I merely didnʼt talk to your avatar because I wanted you not to feel bad about not being here, but I guess it had the opposite effect.”

”Really?” Davis blinked.

It was as though his Mingzhi had matured overnight, making him dumbfounded.

Knowing his thoughts, Mingzhi hit his chest, ”Do you want to die? Quick, pay respects to your child…”

She held his shoulders and pushed him down before pulling his head closer to her stomach with a fond expression, making Davis listen with his extraordinary physical senses.

Davis was aware that Mingzhi already spent over ten or twelve days in the time chamber. After all, her base prowess didnʼt reach the Empyrean Stage. Therefore, she was nearly a month pregnant. His child was being nurtured well inside her, causing him to look above and stand up before he caught her cheeks and exchanged a passionate kiss.

The others hid a giggle, including Lea. They were all full of smiles, appearing delighted today.

Not only did he return safely, but there was also good news for both parties. They wanted to throw a banquet and enjoy the day.

But soon, Davis relayed what happened between him and the Celestial Transcendent.

Evelynnʼs expression sank, and so did the others.

His life was on the line? That certainly wasnʼt acceptable to them, no matter the reason, but they went through the rules again and again in their minds and determined it was something they could keep up with, as all they would have to do was protect the family in his stead.

Only he was supposed to not kill. It didnʼt stop them from killing their enemies. He could not say or influence anything, but their minds were already made up as they desired to kill anyone who intruded without mercy.

”Youʼre back~”

At this moment, Myria entered the scene with Tina and Dalila by her side. The three pill fairies walked with elegance as they made their way to them.
