Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4025  Back To Their Hideout

*Whoosh!~*

Davis, Lea, Tia, Stella, Calypsea, Illumina, and Vereina arrived in the First Void Dust Sanctuary.

”Ooh~”

Vereina placed her hand above her eyes and looked around curiously. It was the same vast void dust land, but the spatial energy was much thicker here. She couldnʼt begin to speak about how good it would be to comprehend Space Laws here but there were no runic marks to directly comprehend from.

But the moment she turned to look back, she saw the giant Void Dust Tree.

She recognized it was Stellaʼs true body, and the countless runes on the tree would help her comprehend Space Laws.

Illumina also looked around.

Davis saw that no one came to welcome them. It seemed like they were all quite busy, but shortly afterward, he noticed something strange.

They all noticed something strange when suddenly eight cannons appeared in a circle. They were pointed against them, appearing ready to fire, which made Davisʼs eyes narrow but relaxed. He connected with his avatar, so he knew what happened here.

”Legion Master!”

Yotan appeared from nowhere and knelt in front of him, cupping her hands, ”Welcome back~”

At the same time, Legion Captain Starlily and over twenty soul warriors appeared in front of him and knelt. They seemed to have been the people controlling the cannons.

”Oh, good defenses.”

Davis nodded with an approving smile, ”I see Sophie repaired those cannons that could even take out Level Six Empyreans.”

”Yes~” Yotan responded, ”Mistress Sophie has repaired these constructs, and you ordered us to place eight of them here and the other sixteen near the entrance. We then placed a powerful illusion formation to fool the enemies, so until the cannons actually fired and broke the illusion formation while hitting them, they wouldnʼt even know what hit them.”

Davis kept nodding since he already knew, but the others had their mouths wide as they cast a look at Davis.

He already took advantage of the loot from the ambush led by Autarch Elluro Coldwing? They couldnʼt help but inwardly praise him and Sophie.

”No!” However, Stella yelled out, ”Take them away! Why is my main body in the target zone?”

She waved her hand, appearing incensed. One hit, and she was done! The terrifying power from the cannon would flood her body and destroy her soul.

”Mistress Stella, I-”

Davis stopped Yotan with a hand, explaining himself, ”Sorry about that, Stella. We couldnʼt move your vestige tree, but this had to be done in case someone took control of you and shifted here somehow. I made sure to plan for many contingencies, and even if an accidental shot was fired while setting up, it would only be your vestige body, which would only harm our chances to teleport back. Thatʼs fine since it would only take a week or two to return, but stopping the advances of an enemy is much more important.”

”But…” Stella pouted. However, she also reconnected with her vestige tree and learned that she agreed to this plan.

Her vestige tree was inactive, but Davis also had a special connection with her, which allowed her to manifest and speak with him if he so desired. She was still within the vestige tree but in a deep sleep. Until she sensed danger, she wouldnʼt wake up. It was an instinct of sorts, so she mustʼve responded subconsciously to Davisʼs plan. She wouldnʼt care about a vestige body, after all.

However, this was her main body right now. The moment she saw those cannons, her bark shuddered.

”Donʼt worry.” Davis shook his head, ”I will take these away right now.”

”…” Stellaʼs expression deflated.

She felt like she had raised her voice for no reason. Feeling bad, she suddenly raised her face.

”I… I can try moving the teleportation point…”

”Huh?” Davis blinked.

He was just about to remove the cannons since he placed a few himself through the avatar and knew how to control them. However, Stella gave him an alternative method.

He thought it wasnʼt possible since she was just shifting her main body and her surroundings to her vestige body, performing a spatial teleportation that exchanged places.

”My roots can extend deep within the soil, so as long as I try harder, I should be able to forcibly extend the teleportation point to anywhere within the realm,” Stella explained.

Davis nodded with surprise. He thought one spatial point within the realm could only transfer to a similar spatial point within the other realm, but it seemed like that may not be the case. This made sense since the mini realms wouldnʼt have the same size at a single point in time. The Second Void Dust Sanctuary and Third Void Dust Sanctuary were of different sizes and were still growing.

However, he didnʼt instantly agree with her.

”Would it take considerable effort?”

”I think so. Might need to sacrifice a Void Dust Tree Fruit since the teleportation coordinates need to be forcibly changed. I would need a huge amount of energy to do that in one sitting. Right now, Iʼm also nearly out of energy after performing my spatial shifting technique. But even if my energy were to be at my peak, I wouldnʼt be able to do it, so consuming the Void Dust Tree Fruit is an absolute requirement.”

”…” Davis frowned.

Stella had five Void Dust Tree Fruits. She consumed one already, so there were four left, which was just enough for her to reach the fifth cycle. Then, she would be able to consume the Space Law Treasure, which was the Vast Nebula Orchid. It would be extremely beneficial for her.

Not only would it increase her cultivation, but it should also allow her to create more Void Dust Tree Fruits in a short amount of time and help her reach the eighth cycle in one full sitting.

How many Void Dust Tree Fruits was that? That was over as much as eighteen!

After all, it was an Empyrean Grade Treasure containing a vast amount of energy. At least, theoretically, Stella should reach the eighth cycle.

Nonetheless, that is why he shouldnʼt be allowing her to use another Void Dust Tree Fruit; it was important for her to reach the fifth cycle sooner. However, it would have been a different matter if he had agreed to engage in dual cultivation with her, as his yang essence was beneficial for her in growing Void Dust Trees. His yang essence contained a lot of chaotic and life energy, the strange mix making it possible for Stella to grow these fruits at an accelerated rate.

The chaotic energy tempered his wivesʼ bodies as well, giving them a physical advantage.

Of course, oneʼs yang or yin essence was always a mix of three cultivations, but the priority was body, soul, and essence. However, chaotic yang essence was already very minute as it was hard to produce, so life yang essence reigned rule in his yang essence while obliteration essence was literally negligible unless he forced it.

But even before he needed to make a conscious decision, the magic of dual cultivation was that the body would know what to release depending on whom he was mating with.

”Alright, do it.”

Davis prepared himself to be dried into a twig as he nodded at Stella.

”Okay~” Stella giggled.

She knew why Davis took a few moments to answer and couldnʼt wait. Her eyes didnʼt even lie, gazing straight at his lower body as she couldnʼt help but lick her lips.

”…”

Davis wanted to hide but turned to look around, commanding a few more things to make the realm secure as he put a complete lockdown for the moment. It was already in lockdown ever since he left, but this time, neither Mingzhi nor the others who were able to go out would be able to leave.

However, he knew Mingzhi wouldnʼt leave no matter what!

He hurriedly went back to his mansion along with Lea.

There, Evelynn, Isabella, Shirley, Natalya, Fiora and Shea were waiting. Even some of the children were here. They noticed him upon entry but didnʼt head to him all because they knew he would come here.

Fiora caught his hands and brought him towards the person of interest. Even with a big belly, Fiora didnʼt seem to be focusing on her belly but was eager to introduce someone elseʼs.

Davis stood in front of the person of interest with a blank expression.

”What? Are you not happy?” Mingzhi raised her brows at him with a pout.

She rubbed her stomach as though to indicate something while the others all smiled gleefully.
