Chapter 483: So-Called Science Is the Utilization of Energy

”No. I didn’t notice anything either. If I hadn’t accidentally seen someone come out of there while I was gathering information, then observed the place closely afterward, I wouldn’t have discovered it.”

Black Zetsu’s tone carried a trace of solemnity.

He was Black Zetsu.

In the Shinobi World, he had always been the one hiding, the one others could not find.

He had never expected that there would now be a base he had not detected at all before.

This was practically a slap to Black Zetsu’s face.

”Interesting.”

Madara narrowed his eyes.

He knew how outstanding his will incarnation’s concealment ability was.

If Black Zetsu were not his will incarnation, even Madara would find it difficult to locate him.

But Black Zetsu, with his strong concealment ability and certain intelligence-gathering capabilities, had actually been fooled by an organization hiding right under the Akatsuki’s nose for so long.

This was a little too absurd.

And this organization was hidden beneath the Akatsuki.

What exactly were they planning to do?

Did they know about his Eye of the Moon Plan?

If they did, what should he do?

However, since Black Zetsu had already formed a partnership with Kenichi and even had Kenichi revive his main body, Madara also understood what Black Zetsu intended.

”My incarnation, your idea is correct. An organization hidden so deeply must have some ulterior motive. I’m going to see what these people are up to.”

Madara’s tone carried a trace of arrogance.

He had wanted to personally experience the abilities of Kenichi, the strongest ninja of the new generation, which was why he chose to take that attack head-on.

Madara was still full of confidence in his own strength.

No matter what kind of enemy it was, as long as he could return to his peak state, he could easily crush them.

It was just a pity that Kenichi had also become a collaborator now.

Otherwise, Madara would have wanted to continue fighting Kenichi a few more times.

When he fought Kenichi, he had felt something similar to fighting Hashirama.

However, in terms of Wood Release ninjutsu, Kenichi still had room to grow.

”Once the Eye of the Moon Plan is realized, I must drag Amamiya Kenichi into many more fights.”

Madara’s fighting spirit soared.

Black Zetsu chuckled and flattered Madara.

Madara was still useful for now.

Once the Eye of the Moon Plan was realized, he could just let this guy die.

By then, when Mother came out, that scoundrel Kenichi would also have to be converted into White Zetsu.

The Shinobi World was their Otsutsuki Clan’s territory, not the territory of these damned ants.

Now, it was also time to probe that base and see what exactly was inside.

Black Zetsu wanted to see what that base could do when faced with Madara, one of the strongest existences in the Shinobi World.

”But before that, I might also be able to get some help from Amamiya Kenichi. After all, he is now considered my pawn.”

Black Zetsu looked at the smug Madara, and a strange sense of unease rose in his heart.

After all, if that base truly had some issues, what if Madara failed?

So it was best to be cautious.

Black Zetsu remembered that Kenichi possessed some very strange weapons that could achieve powerful effects without chakra manipulation.

If he asked Kenichi for help and had him provide some assistance, such as sponsoring those weapons, then dealing with that base would be more assured.

However, whether Kenichi would help, and how he should ask Kenichi for help, were also problems.

But he had to try.

Black Zetsu did not know what the other side would do after being attacked by Madara.

If the other side moved the base, could he still find it?

Black Zetsu did not know either.

But now, he only wanted to do his best to make this attack more perfect.

”So this is Samehada.”

Kenichi looked at the ninja blade in front of him, his expression somewhat strange.

He wondered if people in the Shinobi World could use anything as a blade.

It was truly absurd that Samehada, a living creature, could be used as a ninja blade.

”That’s nothing strange. I’ve seen horses used as ninja blades before.”

Amado was quite calm.

He was observing how Samehada devoured chakra.

This thing had a mouth with sharp teeth, looking very capable of eating, but what it ate was chakra.

What was chakra?

For ninja, chakra was like the airflow and blood in their bodies.

But Amado knew that when chakra condensed on the surface of the body, it would form something similar to airflow.

For example, the bursts of energy on Kenichi’s body after he used the Eight Gates Released Formation were an intangible gas.

Some Tailed Beast Jinchuriki also had similar modes.

When they merged with a Tailed Beast, they would have a Tailed Beast chakra cloak.

According to Kenichi, that was also something similar to gas.

Eating gas, then digesting it and feeding it back into the user’s body.

This sounded a little outrageous.

So Amado was very curious.

How did creatures like Samehada do it?

”Using a horse as a ninja blade?!”

Kenichi was a bit stunned.

Kisame stood quietly beside him without speaking.

He was a small, transparent figure here and did not have much right to speak.

However, upon hearing Amado’s words, Kisame’s expression also became somewhat subtle.

A horse?

Could that thing really be wielded?

”But thinking about it, it’s not entirely unacceptable. As long as it’s not transplanting a brain into someone else’s body and then using their body to fight, it’s not too outrageous yet.”

Kenichi muttered.

When Amado heard him, he glanced at Kenichi.

”Technically, that is achievable, but the difficulty is very high. I suppose you know that as well, young friend Amamiya.”

Amado spoke calmly.

Kenichi shrugged.

He did know that such an operation would be almost impossible in his previous life.

But in the Shinobi World, there were not many problems.

Ninjutsu was a very miraculous thing.

Chakra was also very miraculous.

Just look at how simple eye transplants were in the Shinobi World, and one would know that brain transplants would not be too difficult.

However, the brain had many blood vessels and nerves.

It would be necessary to check carefully to ensure the body could function completely and prevent any connection issues between the brain and body.

If there was a nerve connection error, that would be interesting.

So, in the Shinobi World, a brain transplant was not a huge problem.

But the operating doctor needed steady hands and had to be meticulous.

Otherwise, it could not be done.

”Kisame, can your Samehada reproduce?”

Kenichi looked at Samehada in front of him, a little envious.

If this thing could reproduce, that would be great, whether for experiments or other purposes.

”Huh?”

”No. There’s only one Samehada. Kirigakure had a hard time taming it.”

Kisame knew what Kenichi meant.

He shook his head.

He only had this one Samehada.

If he lost Samehada, it would have some impact on his combat strength.

And after using it for so long, he had also developed some feelings for it.

Kenichi smiled and patted Kisame’s shoulder.

He realized there was no need to make Samehada reproduce.

Why reproduce?

He now had cloning technology.

Could he not just clone it?

That would solve everything.

Moreover, he could also try inserting parasites into Samehada.

If Samehada could be controlled by parasites, then Samehada could be used as a converter for storing and outputting chakra, or even as a chakra generator.

Then Samehada could directly serve as an energy supply, outputting chakra for machines to use.

That would kill two birds with one stone.

Furthermore, cloning technology was now very advanced and could accelerate cloning.

He could also observe how long Samehada’s natural lifespan was after being cloned, then set a shelf life.

When one approached death, Samehada could be replaced, and a new Samehada could continue serving as a chakra generator.

As for Samehada’s feelings, that was not within Kenichi’s consideration.

It was Samehada’s fortune to be able to dedicate itself to scientific progress.

Future textbooks would mention Samehada’s significant contribution to this chakra industrial revolution.

”Mr. Amado.”

Kenichi looked at Amado and revealed a smile.

Amado also showed the same smile.

This suddenly made Kisame feel as if he had forgotten something, leaving him completely confused about the current situation.

So why were Kenichi and Amado smiling so happily?

Had something funny happened?

Or was it something else?

Kenichi drew a tube of blood from Samehada.

At first, Samehada was somewhat reluctant.

But after Kenichi let it taste a bit of his chakra, Samehada immediately became enthusiastic.

So enthusiastic that Kisame was forgotten by it, making Kisame’s expression turn somewhat grim.

This scene was very similar to plots in certain movies.

Kenichi was not surprised.

Samehada was just like that.

This thing was a living creature, with a certain degree of intelligence and its own emotions.

Eating chakra was the same as eating for it.

Animals would definitely consider high-quality food.

Kenichi’s chakra was of relatively high quality, since he possessed the Sage Body of the First Hokage.

After drawing blood, Kenichi left in a hurry.

He planned to clone Samehada and quickly develop Samehada’s clones.

However, the only problem now was that there were not enough cloning nutrient tanks.

Kenichi needed to build several new nutrient tanks.

Fortunately, Amado had such technology, and Kenichi only needed to provide the materials.

But even so, it would take a few days.

So Kenichi could only temporarily put Samehada’s blood into a special low-temperature storage box and continue the cloning work once the nutrient tanks were built.

”Mr. Amado, what are your thoughts on Samehada?”

Kenichi looked at Amado.

Although Samehada’s appearance allowed him to temporarily solve an urgent problem, at least in the short term, he no longer needed to think about how to design a container capable of storing and outputting chakra.

However, this work could not stop.

He could not always rely on Samehada to act as this chakra generator.

”Its body structure is very unique. It should be the result of evolution. I plan to dissect one once the clones are out and see how it absorbs and converts chakra.”

Amado calmly drank a cup of tea.

Kisame had already left.

After drawing blood, Amado had let Kisame leave.

If he did not leave, Amado was worried he would not be able to resist forcibly dissecting Samehada.

”But now, I think we can first try to research how to convert the output chakra into power that can drive machines.”

Kenichi narrowed his eyes.

In his previous life, human scientific progress had been rapid.

But no matter how much it advanced, human science was often used to boil water.

For example, the initial appearance of the steam engine was essentially boiling water, then using steam to drive machinery.

In the later era of electricity, boiling water was also an important step in power generation, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy by boiling water.

And what about the more high-tech nuclear power plants later?

In a broader sense, they also boiled water.

They just did it faster and more efficiently, using the method of boiling water to generate electricity.

It could be said that in his previous life, the two most basic energy sources were electricity and oil.

People basically designed and invented all technology around these energy sources.

The technological civilization of his previous life could be described as an energy civilization.

And in the Shinobi World, Kenichi discovered that chakra could also be used as a form of energy.

So the key now was how to develop new technologies around this central point of energy.

But the most important issue remained how to utilize that energy.

Using chakra to boil water and convert it into electrical energy was not impossible.

But it felt a bit unfair to chakra, such a powerful new energy source.

So Kenichi wanted to see whether chakra could be directly converted into electrical energy for use.

After all, chakra ninjutsu included Lightning Release, as well as ninjutsu like Chidori.

The Lightning Release ninjutsu Kenichi mastered could unleash electricity stronger than ordinary lightning.

If that could be utilized, then one Sage Art Lightning Release from him would basically be enough for the daily electricity consumption of the current Land of Flame.

”Yes. My idea is based on the nature transformation of chakra, and then...”

Amado and Kenichi began discussing it.

Both of them knew that a new door was about to be opened by them.

The Shinobi World was about to usher in a brand-new era.

This sense of accomplishment made both of their hearts somewhat excited.

Who wouldn’t want to be famous for eternity?
