Chapter 468: The Urgent Need to Develop a Hydrogen Bomb

”I’ve already arranged for people to go to the Land of Lightning. If they run fast enough, they should be about ready to go crazy over there by now.”

Kenichi looked around.

Iwagakure’s base was now filled with corpses everywhere.

There were corpses of Land of Flame ninja, and there were also corpses of Iwagakure ninja.

It had to be said that while the Land of Flame ninja were quite capable, the Iwagakure ninja were not pigs waiting to be slaughtered either.

Achieving a completely unscathed victory was not an easy task.

But these casualties were still within a range Kenichi could accept.

”The Land of Lightning?”

Orochimaru raised an eyebrow.

If he had known it was the Land of Lightning, he should have focused his main target on that nation.

But it did not matter now.

In any case, the ninja of the Land of Lightning had already suffered heavy losses under the strikes of Kenichi’s tactical squad, and even the Eight-Tails had been injured.

As long as the Fourth Raikage, A, died, taking down the Land of Lightning would not be difficult.

But after thinking about it carefully, there was no real problem with this choice.

After all, the two countries closest to the Land of Flame were the Land of Fire and the Land of Lightning.

”Teacher, how are things going with Konoha, Kumogakure, and Sunagakure?”

Kenichi asked curiously.

He had been busy dealing with the Five Kage, and with Madara interfering, he had not had much time to pay attention to the battle situation here.

”It’s alright. Kumogakure has suffered heavy losses under the strikes of your tactical squad. As for Konoha, I haven’t made a move yet.”

Orochimaru glanced at his student.

To be honest, he had not even begun preparing to act when Kenichi arrived, which surprised him a little.

After all, he knew what his student had gone to do.

He had originally thought Kenichi would spend more time over there.

”What about Sunagakure?”

Kenichi did not hear Sunagakure’s name, which surprised him.

Could it be that the Sunagakure ninja had been completely wiped out?

”They don’t even know where they are now.”

Thinking of Sunagakure, which had not made a move until now, Orochimaru shook his head.

Because of the mysterious disappearance of the Sunagakure ninja, his entire strategic objective had been disrupted, and he had to remain on guard from time to time against possible attacks on the Land of Flame by those Sunagakure ninja.

Kenichi was stunned for a moment.

Good grief.

He had not expected that in this war, Sunagakure, which he had originally thought would be the easiest to eliminate, had not made any move until now.

Meanwhile, the quite capable Kumogakure had already suffered heavy losses.

However, this indirectly provided some assurance for his plan to conquer the Land of Lightning.

”Teacher, if we take these ninja and conquer the Land of Lightning now, how confident are you?”

Kenichi looked at Orochimaru with a smile.

Although he did not know what those Sunagakure people had run off to do, Kenichi did not care.

As long as they were not attacking the Land of Flame’s homeland, he would not care even if the Sunagakure ninja betrayed their Kazekage and ran back to their village.

Anyway, without their Kazekage, those people would only become bones in a grave in the future.

Among the several Ninja Villages, Sunagakure’s strength was relatively weak, especially now that Chiyo and Rasa were dead.

Sunagakure really could not produce many ninja who could hold their own.

In future Shinobi World Wars, Sunagakure’s situation would almost entirely depend on Gaara, the Kazekage.

And Gaara, who could beat anyone when he first appeared, eventually became unable to beat anyone later on.

Furthermore, one had to remember that the current Gaara was still just a child. He could not support the entire Sunagakure at all.

Even if those Sunagakure ninja escaped back, in the future, when Kenichi’s blade pointed their way, Sunagakure would only be able to surrender at the mere sight of him.

”The Land of Lightning? That depends on whether the Fourth Raikage A is dead, and then on the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki and Two-Tails Jinchuriki.”

Orochimaru looked at Kenichi with a smile that was not quite a smile, though his words still carried confidence.

The most troublesome thing about Kumogakure in the Land of Lightning was the A-B Combo.

That was power capable of suppressing ordinary Kage-level powerhouses.

Even Minato, a ninja who was extremely formidable in ninja combat, had to be extremely careful when facing the A-B Combo, or he would suffer losses.

However, looking at these parasite-controlled ninja under Kenichi’s command, Orochimaru was still very confident.

These ninja feared neither death, and their strength was quite good.

Some had even awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan.

With such a group of ninja, Orochimaru felt that it would be disgraceful if he could not steamroll Kumogakure.

”Then I’ll have to trouble you, Teacher.”

Kenichi did not intend to give Kumogakure’s ninja any chance to catch their breath.

After this war ended and the news spread, what would greet him would either be the solicitation of the four Daimyo, or their even crazier suppression.

After all, the Allied Shinobi Forces led by the four Kage had all been defeated by his hand.

Those Daimyo were likely filled with fear.

But this was also what Kenichi wanted to see.

Unlike traditional ninja like Naruto, who took the Daimyo for granted, Kenichi did not think those Daimyo were qualified to sit in the position of Daimyo forever.

They were just ordinary people.

Their blood was also red.

At that time, the only role of the four Daimyo would be to leave all their wealth to him, then smoothly hand over political power and disappear into the long river of history.

”Then what can you give me?”

Orochimaru walked over, his bright eyes looking at Kenichi with amusement.

”Teacher, have you ever wondered what those stars in the sky are?”

Kenichi smiled.

He knew how to hook Orochimaru’s interest, and he knew what his teacher wanted.

For Orochimaru, the most attractive things in the entire Shinobi World were likely novel knowledge and eternal life.

It was just that his teacher had already researched a method of eternal life.

As long as he was not killed or sealed, he would not die of old age.

Therefore, only novel knowledge and unknown realms could move Orochimaru now.

”Fine. You’ve convinced me.”

Orochimaru shrugged.

He was indeed full of curiosity about the stars in the sky, and he also knew that his student had researched hot air balloons and airships.

It was hard to say whether Kenichi truly had more advanced gadgets that could fly even higher and pluck the stars from the sky.

”Then I’ll leave it to you, Teacher. I’ll go clean up the battlefield first.”

Kenichi scanned the battlefield before him.

There were still some Iwagakure ninja resisting, although not many.

Even so, Kenichi still felt it would be better to end this battle as soon as possible.

After all, he did not know whether that old guy Onoki was dead or alive.

Ending the battle early would also allow him to rush to the Land of Lightning faster and take down Kumogakure.

Then he could search the Land of Lightning for uranium ore.

Only then could he create new nuclear weapons.

This time, when dealing with Madara, Kenichi felt that an atomic bomb might not be enough to handle a guy like him.

Frankly speaking, atomic bombs were not without weaknesses.

For example, Obito.

As long as Obito used Kamui to store the atomic bomb in the Kamui dimension before it exploded, the explosion of the atomic bomb would be useless.

For a powerhouse on Madara’s level, the same move was unlikely to be effective a second time.

Whether it was to face Madara’s threat in the future or to be careful of the Otsutsuki Clan, Kenichi needed even more powerful weapons.

Such as a hydrogen bomb.

But using a hydrogen bomb was a matter for later.

”Sage Art: Yama’s Slash!”

Kenichi slammed his hands onto the ground.

The dead Iwagakure ninja struggled to crawl up from the earth once again. They grabbed the ankles of their former companions and dragged them into hell.

”You only resurrected the Iwagakure ninja?”

Orochimaru looked at the scene before him, unfazed.

However, the Land of Flame ninja did not move. They were still lying on the ground.

”Mm.”

Kenichi nodded.

Although these Land of Flame ninja were controlled by parasites, and there was absolutely no need to worry about loyalty, Kenichi would still give them the respect and treatment they deserved.

They had already died once for the Land of Flame.

Kenichi was not so insane that he would make them die again.

Of course, if the war situation became urgent, that would be another matter.

With the help of the resurrected, the remaining resistance forces of Iwagakure were quickly extinguished.

Kenichi also turned his attention to another location.

”Kakashi?”

Kenichi walked over.

The Land of Flame ninja nearby lowered their heads and respectfully moved aside, revealing Kakashi, who was panting heavily inside.

Kakashi was in a sorry state.

His clothes were covered in scorch marks, and some knife wounds could be seen on his body, but his eyes were still bright.

”Amamiya.”

Kakashi’s eyes lit up when he saw Kenichi, but then they immediately became conflicted.

In the end, he gritted his teeth and looked at Kenichi with hostility.

Kenichi was not surprised to see this.

Ever since his identity had been exposed, he had known he would encounter situations like this.

Not to mention, he had killed many important figures of Konoha.

People such as the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and Jiraiya.

”Did you come to help Iwagakure? Now that they’re all dead, you can go.”

Kenichi waved his hand, and the ninja on the side silently cleared a path.

Kakashi tightly clutched the kunai in his hand.

He had many questions he wanted to ask.

He even wanted to demand why Kenichi had to be so ruthless.

But looking at Kenichi’s face, he could not say anything.

In the end, Kakashi took away the corpses of the Konoha ninja from his team.

Except for Kakashi, the other Konoha ninja who had come to support had all perished here.

War was ruthless.

Kenichi had only told the Land of Flame ninja not to kill Kakashi and Guy if they saw them.

He did not care about the others.

Watching Kakashi leave silently, Kenichi stood behind him and quietly watched.

Calculating the time, Obito should have arrived by now, right?

Or had he already started a massacre?

Kenichi was truly curious.

But a crazed Obito was too threatening, and Kenichi had not left Shiori there.

Otherwise, he could have seen what Obito looked like when he was completely insane.

”Huff, huff.”

Obito was very tired.

For this entire day, he had been running everywhere, running around aimlessly while being led by the nose by that bastard Kenichi.

This made Obito extremely exhausted.

Furthermore, in the end, Rin was not in the Land of Flame, but had been sent to the Land of Lightning instead.

Obito had no choice but to run to the Land of Lightning.

But the moment he thought of Rin being sent to the hot spring town in the Land of Lightning by that bastard Kenichi, he could not stop at all.

Even when riding a hot air balloon, he used Wind Release ninjutsu the entire way to speed toward the Land of Lightning.

After arriving at the location, he was discovered by the hot air balloon ninja patrolling the border of the Land of Lightning.

Fortunately, their strength was mediocre, and he easily dealt with them.

However, Obito’s pace became increasingly impatient.

He walked quickly through the bustling hot spring town.

All around him, there were scantily dressed women soliciting customers, and even handsome-looking men calling out to customers.

If it had been before, Obito would have lamented how dark this world was.

But now, he could not care about anything else.

Obito’s mind was full of Rin.

”Rin!”

Obito saw a familiar person.

She was standing in front of a three-colored dango stall, just taking out money to buy some dango.

Although it was only a side profile, Obito recognized the person in front of him at a glance.

It was Rin.

At that moment, joy filled Obito’s heart.

He no longer cared that in Rin’s heart, he was already a dead person.

He walked straight over, bumping into the crowd blocking his way, and with eager steps, he ran toward the stall where Rin stood.

”Rin!”

Obito grabbed Rin’s hand.

A warm hand.

How long had it been since he last felt that?

”Eh? Who are you?”

Rin turned her head in confusion and looked at the man who had grabbed her hand.

But then her expression became hesitant.

The person before her looked like Obito.

”I am... I’m Obito! Uchiha Obito!”

At this moment, all his plans were thrown to the back of his mind.

Had Madara not been resurrected?

Then let Madara execute the Eye of the Moon Plan.

Obito only wanted to take Rin away, find a place far from the Shinobi World, and live a quiet life.

He would prepare enough supplies and live a life that belonged only to the two of them.

”Obito?!”

There was a trace of disbelief in Rin’s eyes.

Although the person in front of her looked somewhat terrifying, those eyes and those faintly familiar facial features left Rin dazed.

This person really seemed to be Obito.

”Rin, I didn’t die.”

Obito did not know how to describe his current mood.

He only felt as if he were floating on air at this moment.

The joy of seeing Rin.

The joy of recovering something he had lost.

All of it made him so happy he was about to go crazy.

”Rin, let’s go. Let’s find a small island far away from the darkness of the Shinobi World and live together. We...”

Obito spoke incoherently.

He excitedly hugged Rin, holding his beloved girl tightly, as if he would lose her again if he let go.

”Obito. Why did you kill me?”

Rin’s weak voice sounded.

Obito felt warmth touch his cheek.

He hesitantly let go.

Then he saw Rin with a kunai plunged into her chest.
