Chapter 453: Chapter 453: Four Kage

Chapter 453: Four Kage

”The one who just flew into the sky, was that your Shadow Clone?”

On the airship, Nagato looked at Kenichi and asked curiously.

He had noticed Kenichi using the Shadow Clone Jutsu earlier and thought an enemy had appeared. He had not expected Kenichi to throw the Shadow Clone out instead.

”Yes. I need him to help me gather some intelligence.”

Kenichi nodded, looking at the lush forest below with a complicated expression.

The war had begun.

This time, to prevent his sphere of influence, the Land of Flame, from being swallowed by war, Kenichi had begun looking for a way to open the battlefield in other countries.

Among them, the only place Kenichi felt was suitable as a battlefield was the Land of Fire.

In most previous wars, the battlefields had mainly been concentrated in smaller countries. However, Kenichi’s Land of Flame did not border any other country in the Shinobi World. Naturally, there were no small nations that could serve as buffer zones for war.

”Gathering intelligence?”

Nagato was a little curious. He could not quite understand Kenichi’s thoughts.

Kenichi glanced at Nagato but did not explain much.

The fragments of the Gedo Statue’s body he had previously obtained from Nagato had been divided. Some were given to Orochimaru for research, while Kenichi himself was naturally also studying them.

However, the current results were not very good.

Although the Gedo Statue was the husk of the God Tree, Kenichi discovered that most of the time, it was closer to a dead object.

Its cellular structure was extremely unusual, but all its cells were curled up, making it difficult to study them properly.

Kenichi felt that this might be because the cells had lost activity after all of their power had been extracted.

That could also explain why summoning the Gedo Statue often required an enormous amount of chakra. It was because the Gedo Statue itself needed a great deal of chakra to maintain its operation and normal functions.

Even a chakra monster like Nagato, who belonged to the Uzumaki Clan, could not withstand the Gedo Statue’s extraction.

If one wanted to restore the Gedo Statue to normal use, it would require an extremely massive amount of chakra. In that situation, it would be impossible to sustain without a Tailed Beast.

Only a Tailed Beast, which was itself composed of chakra, could supply the Gedo Statue’s consumption.

From this perspective, the Gedo Statue was like a large mecha robot.

Powerful, but also extremely energy intensive.

If Kenichi had not been unable to build a nuclear fusion power plant, he would have even considered trying to replace the Gedo Statue’s chakra requirements with electricity, just to see whether it was feasible.

”I need to find where the troops of those Ninja Villages are gathered, then send them letters separately.”

Kenichi nodded.

To ensure the battlefield would not be in the Land of Flame, Kenichi needed to make sure the four Ninja Villages understood his intentions.

Otherwise, it would be no different from winking at a blind man.

Behind the airship, countless ships had already begun landing on the sea.

Orochimaru had already started preparing to act. Kenichi had arranged for some Akatsuki Organization members to follow him, and later, reinforcements from the Uchiha Clan would also arrive.

Kenichi stood on the airship with an expressionless face, holding the railing.

He had originally wanted to develop slowly.

But the Shinobi World’s reaction had exceeded his expectations.

Since the war had already begun, he would strive for complete success in one fell swoop, utterly defeating the four Ninja Villages in this war. Then he would directly occupy them and unify the entire Shinobi World.

If the battlefield proceeded smoothly, Kenichi was confident he could sweep through the remaining four Ninja Villages.

After all, if all these Ninja Alliance forces perished here, how could the remaining combat power left in the villages themselves possibly withstand Kenichi’s army?

”We’ve been discovered.”

Nagato looked ahead.

Kenichi followed his gaze and saw an airship with the Konoha symbol in front of them.

The other side had clearly discovered them.

A mass wrapped in lightning was shot toward them.

Nagato did not act, because Kenichi directly used Wind Release to blow the object away.

Immediately afterward, a loud explosion erupted in the air.

The object that had just been blown away detonated.

”A kunai with an explosive tag? That’s a pretty good attack method.”

Kenichi stroked his chin.

If that thing exploded inside the airship, the airship would definitely become unusable.

However, since they had been discovered, it proved that Konoha’s allied forces were nearby.

That saved Kenichi some effort.

Thinking of this, Kenichi dispelled his Shadow Clone.

A surge of memories rushed back, causing Kenichi’s eyes to waver for a moment.

Kenichi narrowed his eyes.

The Shadow Clone had indeed found the location of the Konoha Ninja Alliance.

Although the Shadow Clone had not yet had time to dispel itself, Kenichi had dispelled it early. Now, he also knew their location.

So Kenichi directly used the Airship Burst Charge Jutsu, making the airship rapidly approach a certain location.

Behind the airship, Konan led Nagato in continuous pursuit.

When Nagato controlled the Deva Path of Pain, he could not be too far away. Otherwise, things would become very troublesome.

Soon, the airship stopped.

Many ninjutsu were fired toward it at the same time. Under such dense attacks, it would be extremely difficult for the airship to remain unharmed.

However, Kenichi did not care.

He looked down.

Beneath the trees were many scattered Konoha ninja.

At their center stood Tsunade.

”Found them.”

Kenichi narrowed his eyes, then jumped down from the airship with Nagato.

They needed to quickly open a battlefield.

As for notifying the other three Ninja Villages, Kenichi had already entrusted that to Orochimaru and Sasori.

The whistling wind entered Kenichi’s ears.

The forest grew closer and closer.

Kenichi’s heart slowly calmed.

He could clearly hear his own heartbeat and the sound of his breathing.

He could even see Tsunade’s chest rising and falling with anger, as well as the white mist she exhaled.

Kenichi landed lightly on the treetop.

Beside him stood Nagato, dressed in his black robe with red cloud patterns.

Kenichi wore a mask and the Akatsuki Organization’s black robe with red cloud patterns as well. He stood high above, looking down at the Konoha ninja below, whose eyes were filled with anger.

”Heavenly Demon!”

Tsunade clenched her fists in fury, staring intently at the person standing in the tree.

She truly had not expected Kenichi to come here.

Did he think that at this point, there was still room for maneuver between him and Konoha?

”Hokage-sama, how disappointing.”

Kenichi smiled.

”For the sake of the deceased Jiraiya, are you planning to abandon our alliance and send these unfortunate souls to their deaths?”

Kenichi knew Tsunade had not agreed to cooperate.

Otherwise, Konoha would have sent an envoy to negotiate.

But that did not stop him from saying it to undermine the confidence of the Konoha ninja.

”You bastard!”

Tsunade stomped the ground in anger and rushed toward Kenichi.

Her fists were clenched tightly.

With that punch, even Madara’s Susanoo would probably crack.

”Shinra Tensei!”

The Deva Path of Pain extended his hand.

In the next second, Tsunade flew backward even faster than she had charged forward, crashing heavily into the ground.

”Are you sure you want to fight me here?”

Kenichi looked at Tsunade, then at the Konoha ninja below.

He saw Kakashi.

Kakashi was looking at him with a complicated expression, but his hand was tightly gripping a shuriken.

Kakashi had also made up his mind.

Regardless of whether the Heavenly Demon was Amamiya Kenichi, the Heavenly Demon was his enemy.

If the Heavenly Demon truly was Kenichi...

Kakashi took a deep breath.

Then Kenichi was also his enemy.

Tsunade frowned as she looked at Kenichi.

What did he mean?

Was Kenichi planning to change the location of the battle?

What exactly was he trying to do?

”It’s not impossible to fight here, but I don’t know how many people will die.”

Kenichi looked at the ninja below.

Then his eyelids twitched.

He saw Might Guy, who was looking at him with burning fighting spirit.

That made Kenichi feel a little flustered.

Might Guy was very unreasonable.

Facing Guy’s Eight Gates Formation, Kenichi felt that even if Nagato’s main body were locked on right now, he would not be able to do much against that kick.

Tsunade wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.

Konoha currently had very few high-end combat forces.

The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki had also been taken away by Kenichi.

If Tsunade faced Kenichi and the person beside him alone, she would be in great danger.

Tsunade knew some of the Deva Path of Pain’s abilities.

He had come to Konoha last time and killed Konoha elder Danzo, but she had not expected him to now be acting together with Kenichi.

That made things even more troublesome.

”I’ll wait for you where the Third Hokage died.”

Kenichi left with Nagato.

That was also the agreed battle location between him and the Kage of the other three Ninja Villages.

As for the other Ninja Alliance forces, Kenichi planned to leave them to Orochimaru.

With so many Mangekyo Sharingan users, Kenichi did not believe Orochimaru would lose.

Watching Kenichi’s departing figure, Tsunade’s fists clenched tightly.

”Hokage-sama, I think Amamiya probably doesn’t want the war to happen in the territory he has occupied.”

Shikaku, Konoha’s strategist, saw some clues.

Even with airships now, the geographical location of the Land of Water was still what it was.

If Kenichi wanted to easily defeat them, he only needed to launch an all-out attack when they crossed the sea.

But Kenichi had chosen to come to the Land of Fire and provoke them directly.

That was very unusual.

During this period, Shikaku had been thinking about how to cross that vast ocean.

Now, however, his previous preparations seemed to have been in vain.

”Hmph. That guy is really arrogant.”

Tsunade snorted.

”Is he planning a battle between Kage?”

She had also thought of this, but what she could not understand was this.

If Kenichi invited her to battle, how could he be so sure she would go?

And how did he plan to stop the remaining Konoha ninja?

”Aren’t you worried they won’t come?”

Nagato looked at the scorched earth in front of him, feeling slightly shocked.

Such a shocking scene. Even if he personally acted, he probably would not be able to create something like this.

Although Super Shinra Tensei was incredibly powerful, there was still a large gap between it and the scene before him.

This place had once been a vibrant forest.

Now, it had become a desolate wasteland.

There were no signs of life.

Not even plants remained.

It was completely lifeless.

”No need to worry. If they don’t come, I’ll go find them.”

Kenichi spoke calmly.

”At that point, it won’t matter how many ordinary ninja die.”

He was not worried at all that those people would refuse to come looking for him.

If they did not come, then so be it.

At most, he would go to their main base and give them a quick end.

Kenichi still had one atomic bomb in his bag that he had not used yet.

Seeing this, Nagato looked at the battlefield ahead and nodded.

The aura here was very strange.

Even though there was no life ahead, it gave Nagato a subtle feeling of unease, as if it were full of hidden dangers.

And a ninja’s sixth sense was often very strong.

Soon, a rapid sound came from the distance.

Immediately afterward, a figure suddenly appeared to Kenichi’s left front.

Kenichi glanced over.

It was Tsunade.

Then two more people darted out.

One looked very sturdy, even a little fat, but Kenichi knew who he was with a single glance.

It was Akimichi Choza, Akimichi Choji’s father and the current head of the Akimichi Clan.

A member of Ino-Shika-Cho.

But the other person surprised Kenichi the most.

Sarutobi Asuma.

He was staring intently at Kenichi with hatred in his eyes.

”Asuma? Tsunade, are you really comfortable letting him come?”

Kenichi’s expression became somewhat strange.

Was Asuma strong?

He was a jonin.

In an ordinary ninja squad, he could be considered quite strong.

But here, Asuma was completely just filling a slot.

Choza was part of the older generation of Ino-Shika-Cho, and his strength was quite good. His presence here would have a certain impact on the battle.

But Asuma truly was not the same.

His appearance here was like a husky mixed into a pack of wolves.

”Ama...”

Asuma took a deep breath, roaring in anger.

This was the guy who killed his father.

Although Asuma’s relationship with Hiruzen had never been very good, and although he had once been unable to understand his father and had even joined the Twelve Guardian Ninja, things had gradually softened later.

Now that the old man was dead, how could Asuma be unaffected?

But before Asuma could finish speaking, a flash of lightning streaked past.

Immediately afterward, a hemispherical force erupted.

The Fourth Raikage, A, flew backward and smashed through several trees.

He stared at the person beside Kenichi with shock and uncertainty.

That person had only raised his hand, yet he had immediately sent A flying.

What kind of ninjutsu was this?

It could even interrupt his Lightning Release Chakra Mode?

”As expected of the Fourth Raikage. Still as hot-tempered as ever.”

Kenichi smiled.

”You’re quite bold, Heavenly Demon.”

The Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village and Onoki appeared together at the edge of the battlefield, surrounding the two people in the middle.
