Chapter 455: A Battlefield Where Jonin Cannot Intervene

”The attack intensity is good, but your intent is too obvious. Improve that next time.”

Kenichi flashed past.

Behind him, explosive flames burst outward. Reflected within those flames were Asuma’s eyes.

His eyes were red as he glared at Kenichi with furious resentment. He gripped his kunai tightly and swiftly charged in, kicking toward Kenichi’s chest with the kunai in hand.

At the same time, Tsunade also delivered a swift kick, blocking Kenichi’s retreat path.

If Kenichi wanted to dodge Asuma’s attack, he would inevitably be hit by Tsunade’s.

It had to be said that as one of the Legendary Sannin, Tsunade’s combat instincts were extremely sharp.

But Kenichi was not worried at all.

He was not wearing heavy weights now. Although Tsunade’s attack speed was very fast and experienced, Asuma’s was not.

The difference between a jonin and a Kage was fully displayed at this moment, and Kenichi no longer had any intention of playing along with Asuma.

Although Asuma’s strength was lacking, every time he attacked, he aimed for a life-for-life exchange. Kenichi found it somewhat annoying, so he decided to make Asuma withdraw first. That way, he could concentrate on dealing with the Kage.

Thinking this, Kenichi’s body flickered, and he disappeared from in front of Tsunade.

Tsunade’s pupils contracted.

She saw Kenichi’s figure appear behind Asuma.

”If your lungs aren’t feeling well, fight less. Go rest.”

Before Tsunade could warn Asuma, Kenichi directly pierced Asuma’s collarbone with a shuriken. The blade passed through his chest, and the immense force threw Asuma out like a discarded weapon.

The giant shuriken carried Asuma’s body with it and embedded itself firmly into a tree trunk.

The violent impact made Asuma spit out a mouthful of blood.

”Ahhhhh!”

Asuma let out a miserable wail, struggling in vain to pull out the shuriken piercing his chest. But his whole body was inexplicably weak, and he could not exert any strength.

At this moment, Asuma wished he could die.

His father had died at Kenichi’s hands. Despite Tsunade and Choza’s attempts to stop him, he had insisted on coming to avenge his father.

But he had not expected that he would lose before even earning the right to face Kenichi head-on.

He had even been treated with such a condescending tone.

That humiliation made Asuma wish he could drive the shuriken straight through his own heart.

On the battlefield, no one paid attention to Asuma’s wailing.

The fact that he could still scream proved that he was still alive.

After Choza glanced at Asuma, he activated the Multi-Size Jutsu and charged toward Kenichi, forming a pincer attack with Tsunade.

Kenichi looked at the two people charging toward him at the same time and took a deep breath.

Then green chakra began to emanate from his body.

In the next moment, Kenichi stomped down. Using the recoil, he swiftly charged toward Choza.

Under the enhancement of the Eight Gates, Kenichi could even hear the wind breaking past his ears.

Choza’s plump body also began rapidly expanding.

Kenichi held his breath, twisted his waist, stepped forward, and kicked Choza with tremendous force.

Choza, who was using the Human Bullet Tank, suddenly felt an overwhelming impact. For a moment, he even had the vague sensation that he was about to be sent flying.

”This guy’s taijutsu is also this strong?”

Choza was somewhat shocked.

He had been directly kicked, interrupting his Human Bullet Tank. His body rolled backward several times before finally stopping.

”He’s really heavy.”

Kenichi twisted his ankle.

He had activated the Eight Gates, yet kicking that giant meatball still felt somewhat heavy.

However, Kenichi had no time to dwell on it, because a powerful gust of wind came from behind him.

Kenichi knew it was Tsunade.

He instantly used the Body Flicker Technique to leave his original position.

A shockwave spread through the place where Kenichi had just been standing, instantly crushing countless trees.

At the same time, Tsunade also saw Kenichi dodge.

The green aura around him instantly made Tsunade realize that Kenichi also practiced the Eight Gates, Konoha’s forbidden taijutsu.

This made Tsunade’s heart grow heavier.

That little bastard Kenichi was becoming stronger and stronger, so strong that Tsunade found it almost unbelievable.

It had to be remembered that the Eight Gates, as a forbidden taijutsu, was extremely difficult to learn. Not every ninja could master it.

Otherwise, Konoha would have definitely trained an Eight Gates squad long ago.

The Eight Gates required daily training, and the burden on the body was extremely high. In all of Konoha, only Might Guy and his father practiced this forbidden technique.

No one else did.

Because it was too arduous, and the benefits were not guaranteed.

Unlike ninjutsu, which could be immediately put into practice once successfully mastered, the Eight Gates required continuous accumulation over time before results could be seen.

The longer one trained, the stronger the body became, and the more terrifying the explosive power of the Eight Gates would be.

However, during daily training, the consumption of food and other resources was enormous.

As a jonin, Might Guy had basically poured all his earnings into physical training and nutritional supplements.

Still, Tsunade clearly did not know the true value of the Eight Gates as a forbidden technique.

If she had known, perhaps she really would have formed a small squad.

When necessary, activating the Gate of Death and launching Night Guy would make killing a Kage far from difficult.

Then Konoha might have directly unified the Shinobi World.

”So troublesome.”

Looking at Tsunade charging toward him, Kenichi once again used the physical enhancement of the Eight Gates to dodge her attack.

It was at that moment that he heard a loud crash behind him.

Turning his head, he saw a giant appear behind him.

It was Choza.

”Super Multi-Size Jutsu?”

Kenichi murmured.

He was actually very curious about how the Multi-Size Jutsu, a technique that seemed somewhat contrary to human biology, was used.

After all, a person’s body weight and other factors generally would not undergo extremely drastic changes in a short period of time unless it was due to an accident, such as losing a limb in a crash.

Otherwise, change usually required years of accumulation.

Even if someone ate excessively every day, it would take several days before the weight gain became visible, and losing weight was even more difficult.

Normally, a person’s weight would not change much within twenty-four hours. If observed within a single minute, there would be almost no change at all.

However, the Akimichi Clan had mastered secret techniques such as the Multi-Size Jutsu and Super Multi-Size Jutsu, allowing them to change their weight in an astonishing way almost instantly.

Kenichi had even kicked Choza earlier to test his theory.

As expected, he found that Choza had genuinely grown larger, not merely puffed himself up.

The heavy sensation from that kick had acted back on Kenichi as well.

That made Kenichi even more curious about Choza.

The secret technique mastered by the Akimichi Clan was truly amazing. It allowed flesh, bones, and blood to grow proportionally.

How was that possible?

Was it through chakra consumption?

But after the secret technique ended, they returned to their original form.

Then what happened to the extra flesh, bones, and blood?

Did they shrink back proportionally?

If one were to cut off Choza’s leg with a blade while the technique was active, after the technique ended, would the severed part shrink or remain unchanged?

Kenichi remembered that the Akimichi Clan also had the Partial Multi-Size Jutsu.

Could that be used for more specialized applications as well?

Indeed, compared with the Raikage, who often appeared in exaggerated battle jokes, the Akimichi Clan’s secret techniques had far more absurd and versatile potential.

If the current situation were not inappropriate, Kenichi would have wanted to study it.

The gigantic Choza kicked out.

The strong wind stirred up by that kick carried Konoha leaves and sand toward Kenichi’s eyes.

Tsunade clearly would not miss such an excellent opportunity.

She activated her Yin Seal and charged toward Kenichi.

”You’re not the only one who can grow bigger.”

Kenichi took a deep breath, then deactivated the Eight Gates around his body.

He slammed both hands down.

In an instant, a Wood Golem emerged, letting out an earth-shaking roar.

Tsunade punched off one of the Wood Golem’s legs, but the rapidly growing wood made Tsunade’s attack futile.

At the same time, Kenichi controlled the Wood Golem to grab the fist of the super-sized Choza before him.

Taking advantage of that moment, Kenichi glanced around.

Nagato was controlling the Six Paths of Pain to deal with the three Kage, but clearly, handling three Kage at once was difficult.

Fortunately, those Kage did not know Nagato’s abilities yet and were still at the stage of probing for information.

”I can’t keep holding them back.”

Kenichi looked at Tsunade and Choza.

Although there were three people here, the concept was completely different.

Asuma was already out of the fight. Choza’s combat power was limited.

The only true Kage-level combatant here was Tsunade.

Nagato was handling three Kage, so was Kenichi really supposed to keep trading blows back and forth with Tsunade?

That would not do.

The gigantic Choza raised his fist and swiftly threw another punch.

At the same time, Tsunade’s figure also disappeared.

Kenichi looked at Choza.

It was time for him to leave the stage.

The Mangekyo Sharingan appeared in Kenichi’s eyes.

Then an ominous chakra quickly enveloped the Wood Golem, forming enormous armor around it.

At the same time, the Wood Golem took one step back.

The sword in its left hand slashed down swiftly, directly cutting off Choza’s left hand before he had time to react.

The severed hand fell to the ground.

However, to Kenichi’s disappointment, the moment it fell, that hand returned to its original size. It would not maintain its enlarged state indefinitely.

Choza gritted his teeth as blood gushed continuously from the wound.

Using his remaining right hand, he punched toward Kenichi.

Kenichi frowned slightly.

Something was off.

Choza was also an experienced ninja.

What was the meaning of doing this?

But Kenichi still slashed down with his blade.

Regardless of what Choza intended to do, Kenichi was going to force him out of the battle.

”Ah!”

Choza roared.

His body lunged forward, taking Kenichi’s slash with his shoulder.

The blade cut into his shoulder and got stuck in the bone.

At the same time, Choza threw his massive body forward and shook Kenichi’s Wood Golem, causing the entire Wood Golem to crash toward the ground.

Out of the corner of his eye, Kenichi saw Tsunade.

Tsunade’s charged punch was already heading toward his head.

And now, Choza was still on top of the Wood Golem, still exerting force to press Kenichi down.

There was nowhere to gain leverage in the air.

If Kenichi wanted to avoid this attack...

No.

He could not avoid it.

Kenichi quickly assessed the situation.

Tsunade and Choza’s combined attack had clearly been planned.

Tsunade’s punch was unavoidable.

However, Kenichi was not anxious.

How dare Tsunade still look directly at him?

As the Mangekyo rotated, Tsunade’s eyes blurred for a moment.

In an instant, she found that her target had become Kato Dan, while Nawaki lay inside.

But Tsunade gritted her teeth, and the illusion shattered.

Mangekyo Sharingan genjutsu was not entirely impossible for her to deal with, unless it was a dojutsu on the level of Tsukuyomi.

Her fist struck heavily against Susanoo.

But in the brief moment when Tsunade had been dazed, an additional Susanoo shield had appeared at the point of her attack.

The immense force instantly shattered the shield and even cracked Susanoo itself.

But Kenichi was unharmed.

In Kenichi’s eyes, the Mangekyo Sharingan rotated.

Countless elements constructed themselves within his vision, then formed the fist he was looking at.

”Decompose.”

Kenichi whispered softly.

Tsunade instantly discovered that her entire right arm, from the wrist upward, had vanished.

Blood gushed continuously from the severed end.

”What kind of ninjutsu is this?”

Tsunade retreated in horror, completely unaware of how Kenichi had attacked her.

Kenichi frowned slightly.

Blood was flowing from his eyes.

Maintaining Susanoo while using the decomposition and analysis functions was quite taxing on his eyes.

He closed his Mangekyo Sharingan, blinked, then stabbed toward Choza on the Wood Golem with his blade.

Tsunade could not pose an effective threat in a short period of time.

The sword blade pierced the skin.

But then Choza himself shrank, and the strike naturally missed, leaving only a bloody wound.

Kenichi raised an eyebrow.

Choza’s combat experience was indeed rich.

But was it useful?

Kenichi suddenly pushed off and instantly opened the Gate of Joy.

Choza had just landed and had not yet steadied himself when he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

He spat out a mouthful of blood and futilely grabbed at the giant shuriken that had pierced him with one hand.

”Farewell.”

Kenichi gripped the shuriken and pushed hard.

Choza’s body flew backward and was pinned to a tree trunk.

His head slumped.

There was no life left in him.

A thick fog spread.

Kenichi frowned and looked into the forest.

The dense fog obscured Choza’s body, then rapidly expanded.

Did Mei make her move?

He could no longer see anything inside the thick fog.

Such a Hidden Mist Jutsu could only be performed by someone powerful, someone on Mei’s level.

”Heh.”

Kenichi scoffed, then opened his mouth.

”Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!”
