Chapter 476: Black Zetsu

”This should be the place.”

Kenichi looked at the scenery before him and compared it to the map in his hand.

If his calculations were correct, this should be it.

But why could he not find anything?

A smile played at the corner of Kenichi’s lips.

Of course he could not find it.

Kenichi was doing it on purpose.

In fact, when Kenichi saw the note Black Zetsu had given him, he knew what Black Zetsu wanted to do. That was why he came over to play along.

He wanted to use this method to gain enough time to develop himself and evolve his eyes into the Rinnegan.

By then, even if he had to face Madara, Kenichi would have more confidence.

Moreover, this would prevent Black Zetsu from completely turning hostile and flipping the table.

Although Kenichi did not know what Black Zetsu could do if he flipped the table, Black Zetsu had, after all, lived for so many years. He should have some trump cards.

So, until his strength became truly formidable, Kenichi planned to play it safe.

Nevertheless, saying that did not stop Kenichi from teasing Black Zetsu a little.

Even though Black Zetsu did not know that Kenichi already knew all of his plans, Kenichi still felt uncomfortable just thinking about it.

He knew Black Zetsu was trying to fool him, yet he had to obediently pretend to be fooled.

That was why Kenichi decided to play a trick on Black Zetsu and make him anxious.

Without even thinking, Kenichi knew that Black Zetsu was definitely hiding somewhere around him, waiting to guide him to that place.

But he deliberately pretended to be lost, making Black Zetsu anxious.

He also wanted to see how good Black Zetsu’s hiding ability really was, and whether Black Zetsu would expose any flaws when he became impatient.

If he did, could Kenichi catch him?

It would not be too troublesome.

He only needed Black Zetsu to appear.

Then he could use his Analysis Mangekyo to analyze Black Zetsu’s body composition and record it.

This might allow him to quickly find a hidden Black Zetsu in the future with the help of the Analysis Mangekyo.

Thinking about it, it actually seemed quite feasible.

These were all things Kenichi planned to test.

Of course, seeing Black Zetsu frustrated was also one of his main goals.

Kenichi simply wanted to see Black Zetsu so angry that smoke seemed ready to pour from his ears.

That would definitely be very interesting.

”Eh? Is this not it?”

Kenichi looked ahead with a ”confused” expression.

He deliberately took the wrong path, finding a place that looked somewhat similar to the map, but was not the exact location.

Naturally, he could not find any clues there.

Until the afternoon, Kenichi did not feel anything unusual.

The surroundings were quiet, with no one around. There was only the sound of wind blowing through the trees and birds chirping.

Other than that, there was nothing.

Kenichi also did not see anything resembling Black Zetsu, which made him a little frustrated.

Was Black Zetsu really that patient?

But thinking about it, it did seem plausible.

So many years had passed since Kaguya Otsutsuki was sealed, but Black Zetsu had always been very patient.

If he had not been patient, he probably would have been found and killed by the Sage of Six Paths long ago.

Kenichi walked back to the starting point and searched again from the beginning.

This time, he found the location marked on the map.

It was a hidden place.

Inside, there was a broken stone tablet that had been reassembled, with some things recorded on it.

However, after activating his Mangekyo, Kenichi saw different content.

The content was not extensive, but it explained the Eye of the Moon Plan.

It also described the beauty of the Eye of the Moon Plan, stating that it could bring eternal peace to the Shinobi World.

A beautiful plan where everyone could find happiness and no longer need to quarrel with one another.

Well, it sounded quite realistic.

After all, if everyone were converted into mindless White Zetsu, then naturally, there would be no more wars.

If everyone was dead, then naturally, they would not feel unhappy and would no longer need to argue with each other.

There was indeed nothing wrong with that statement.

Moreover, in the current terrible Shinobi World, this plan actually possessed a certain allure.

It could be said that if Kenichi did not know the true nature of the Eye of the Moon Plan, did not know the plot of the anime, and was only an ordinary ninja in the Naruto world, then he might genuinely be attracted to this plan.

Because it really did look beautiful.

”The Eye of the Moon Plan?”

Kenichi pretended to be shocked, muttering to himself.

”What do you think of this plan?”

A hoarse voice sounded.

Immediately afterward, Kenichi saw Black Zetsu emerge from the shadows beside him.

Kenichi’s pupils constricted.

He had not felt anything unusual just now, but Black Zetsu had simply appeared like that.

This guy’s hiding ability was truly strong to an outrageous degree.

”You are...”

Kenichi looked at Black Zetsu.

He had seen Black Zetsu before, but the current situation was different, so he definitely had to pretend.

However, the Mangekyo in Kenichi’s eyes also flickered.

He was analyzing Black Zetsu’s body composition, hoping to use this method to find Black Zetsu in the future.

But what he did not expect was Black Zetsu’s extremely violent reaction.

The moment Kenichi used his Mangekyo, Black Zetsu immediately hid behind the stone tablet.

”Amamiya Kenichi, don’t be so agitated. Hehehe, I am Uchiha Madara’s will!”

Black Zetsu looked at Kenichi warily.

The abilities of Mangekyo Sharingan techniques varied wildly, and Black Zetsu did not know what Kenichi’s eye technique was.

But he had seen Kenichi use this technique to annihilate one of Tsunade’s hands.

He did not want to be annihilated like that.

So it was better to be careful.

”Uchiha Madara’s will?”

Kenichi became even more shocked when he heard that.

But then, without hesitation, he opened his mouth.

Sage Art: Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!

Surging flames spewed forth, instantly engulfing the stone tablet.

Seeing the situation turn unfavorable, Black Zetsu quickly burrowed underground and avoided the attack.

At the same time, he could not help cursing several times in his mind.

Amamiya Kenichi, this lunatic.

What was with starting a fight at the slightest disagreement?

Should he not be listening to him explain things right now?

”Get out and die! Uchiha Madara! The previous battle isn’t over yet!”

Kenichi said ”angrily,” though there was some genuine emotion in that anger.

After all, he had indeed been messed up by Madara before.

If Tsunade and the others had not mistakenly thought Madara was on his side, he really did not know how that battle would have turned out.

If the three Kage and Madara had attacked him together, Kenichi might not even have been able to pull out the atomic bomb.

Achieving such a battle outcome would have become an extremely uncertain matter.

”Amamiya Kenichi, don’t you want this terrible world to return to peace?!”

Black Zetsu’s angry voice echoed in this hidden dwelling.

One could hear his exasperation.

Kenichi also gave up the idea of continuing to tease Black Zetsu.

If he kept teasing him like this, Black Zetsu might truly turn hostile.

Then the purpose of this visit would be lost.

”Peace? Of course I want to achieve peace.”

Kenichi calmed down and spoke softly.

Black Zetsu also emerged from behind the stone tablet.

”That’s right. Peace. As you’ve seen, our Uchiha Clan’s ancestors discovered a ninjutsu that can bring peace to the entire Shinobi World and make people eternally happy. Infinite Tsukuyomi!”

Black Zetsu’s voice was extremely alluring.

Caught off guard, Kenichi actually thought Black Zetsu’s words made sense.

But then he immediately realized something was wrong.

How could he possibly think that?

Did Black Zetsu possess some ability to bewitch people?

Although he was not sure, Kenichi still became extremely cautious.

”Infinite Tsukuyomi? I don’t need that. I can achieve peace in the Shinobi World on my own.”

Kenichi spoke resolutely.

Black Zetsu paused for a few seconds upon hearing this.

”Now that I have annexed the Land of Water and the Land of Lightning, I only need to annex the remaining three great nations, and all the other small countries will submit to me. Then peace will come.”

Kenichi looked at Black Zetsu with a half-smile.

He intended to see how Black Zetsu planned to convince him to execute the Eye of the Moon Plan.

Black Zetsu must have seen that Obito was dead and that Madara could not be revived yet, so he planned to use Kenichi as a breakthrough.

This was equivalent to treating him like a fool.

”Hehehe, will peace truly come that way? Amamiya Kenichi, look at this world yourself. Is peace really so easy to achieve? The desires in people’s hearts are unstoppable. Such peace cannot last long.”

Black Zetsu chuckled strangely.

Kenichi raised an eyebrow.

What Black Zetsu said was indeed true.

Human desires were endless.

When people had no money, they wanted money.

When they had money, they wanted power.

When they had both money and power, they wanted eternal life.

Ancient emperors were all like this.

In his previous life, Kenichi once had a junior high school classmate.

In junior high, because his family background was not good, he studied hard and got into the city’s top high school at the time.

When he reached high school, he was also diligent.

But suddenly, their urban village house was marked for demolition.

Based on their house, they received several apartments and several million.

Suddenly, he had money, and he started to live wildly.

In the end, he only got into a third-tier university for the college entrance exam.

But that was not the main point.

The main point was that after his family got money, they lived a life of debauchery and excess. Then they started to feel empty, eventually touched drugs, lost all their family wealth, and became a notorious example discussed by everyone at the time.

If a person had money, power, and various other things, then also became immortal, who knew what that person’s desires would become?

If he decided to destroy the world, then it would become a huge mess.

”But I only need to live long enough.”

Kenichi waved his hand indifferently.

There were many ways to achieve immortality.

The simplest was to learn Living Corpse Reincarnation from his teacher, Orochimaru.

By changing bodies, one could live forever.

It was very convenient.

”But is that true peace? You were once an orphan. You should know what war has brought to this world.”

Black Zetsu was a bit annoyed.

Kenichi, this guy, why was he not like that idiot Madara?

He should have simply believed the stone tablet and listened to him.

Instead, he insisted on debating, which annoyed Black Zetsu somewhat.

”I know. I grew up in an orphanage, and I’ve seen the misfortune of many people and many children. That is why I want to change this world.”

Kenichi spoke naturally.

Black Zetsu fell silent upon hearing this.

Why did this guy seem so unyielding?

”Think about it. How pitiful are those children who lost their parents? But in the world of Infinite Tsukuyomi, their parents won’t die, and their lives will have no regrets. This is a plan that allows everyone to be happy.”

Black Zetsu coaxed him.

Now that Obito was probably dead, Black Zetsu needed other help to rescue Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Because of that, he was very patient.

Kenichi remained silent, feigning contemplation.

In reality, he had already decided to agree to Black Zetsu directly later.

However, to prevent Black Zetsu from suspecting that he had agreed too quickly, Kenichi planned to delay.

That way, his hesitation could ease Black Zetsu’s inner doubts.

”How is your consideration going? My main body, Uchiha Madara, is also implementing this plan. Once it succeeds, you and my main body will become the gods of this world, bringing eternal peace to this world!”

Black Zetsu continued.

Kenichi ”struggled” as he raised his head to look at Black Zetsu.

”This plan... is it really feasible? How far has it progressed?”

Kenichi asked tentatively.

Seeing this, Black Zetsu became pleased.

Kenichi was tempted.

That meant his persuasion plan had a greater chance of success.

Once his mother was released, both Madara and Kenichi would die.

”Of course it’s feasible! Now we only need to capture the nine Tailed Beasts, then use the Rinnegan to summon the Gedo Statue and let the Gedo Statue absorb the nine Tailed Beasts. Then this plan can be executed!”

Black Zetsu spoke excitedly.

”Nine Tailed Beasts? But the Three-Tails and Five-Tails are already dead.”

Kenichi looked at Black Zetsu with ”surprise.”

Black Zetsu’s mouth twitched.

This bastard.

Of course he knew the Three-Tails and Five-Tails were dead.

Was that not this bastard’s doing?

But it did not matter.

As long as the plan could succeed, he could endure.

”It doesn’t matter. Tailed Beasts don’t truly die. They will revive after some time. Then, starting from the One-Tail, we can capture them and execute the Eye of the Moon Plan.”

Black Zetsu continued.

Kenichi pondered for a while after hearing this.

Finally, under Black Zetsu’s repeated persuasion, he ”reluctantly” agreed to Black Zetsu’s Eye of the Moon Plan and became the new executor of the plan.

”Amamiya Kenichi, let us create a new era together. Hehehe.”

Black Zetsu smiled triumphantly.

”Yes. A new era.”
