Chapter 466: Uchiha Madara Under the Nuclear Blast

Kenichi’s tongue felt a little numb.

Because standing before him was none other than Uchiha Madara, the undisputed strongest individual in the entire Shinobi World.

Before the Otsutsuki Clan descended, Madara could be considered an absolute powerhouse. However, after the Otsutsuki appeared, Madara became something of a joke. His heart was pierced, he became a stepping stone for others, he was manipulated by Black Zetsu, and even his entire being transformed into Kaguya Otsutsuki.

If Kaguya had not been sealed in the end, Madara probably would not even have made it to the Pure Land.

But there was no denying Madara’s terrifying personal strength.

He had pressured the Allied Shinobi Forces, dominated Sasuke and Naruto, made the Five Kage vomit blood, and even withstood Guy’s full power.

Even then, he had remained so at ease, as if countless trump cards had yet to be revealed.

Looking at Madara, who was being covered by the Wood Golem beneath him, Kenichi’s gaze turned solemn.

He knew that there was a mountain he absolutely had to overcome.

Uchiha Madara.

If this guy could not be defeated, then Kenichi’s dream of unifying the Shinobi World would remain unrealized.

But the good news was that the current Madara was not in his complete form.

Nor was he absolutely unbeatable.

”If this guy were in his Ten-Tails Jinchuriki state with the Rinnegan, defeating him now would be very difficult. But you’re a dead man who crawled out of the Pure Land, so there’s still a fight to be had.”

Kenichi licked his lips.

He did not fear Madara.

His heart was even filled with excitement.

Being able to deal with Madara here was an unexpected bonus.

Even more unexpectedly, Tsunade and the others actually thought Madara was his helper and directly launched a full-scale assault on him.

Looking at those ninjutsu, Kenichi knew that the three Kage had gone all out.

Coupled with his own Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands, defeating a mere Edo Tensei Madara should not be a problem.

Especially since Madara did not have the Rinnegan.

He could not use those powerful Rinnegan dojutsu.

”How interesting!”

At this moment, Madara was under immense pressure.

He had originally intended to deal with Kenichi and see how this Sage Art Wood Release compared to Hashirama’s.

But he had not expected the opponent’s strength to be truly impressive.

However, looking at the three Kage-level powerhouses before him, Madara’s heart was still somewhat displeased.

In his opinion, the protagonists of this battle were undoubtedly himself and Kenichi.

These three Kage absolutely should not interfere in such a battlefield.

These three were clearly mere children, yet they were so reckless.

”These foolish brats.”

Madara narrowed his eyes.

His Complete Body Susanoo was enduring a massive assault.

On one side was the attack from Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands.

On the other side were Tsunade and the Fourth Raikage A’s Liger Bomb, along with Chiyo’s Puppet Performance: Self-Sacrifice.

With the help of that brat Onoki, the taijutsu of those two posed some threat. Moreover, Onoki had also used Dust Release.

Madara could feel that his Complete Body Susanoo would not be able to hold on much longer.

If this continued, the Complete Body Susanoo would collapse.

Then he would have to face the attacks of this Senju Buddha statue again.

This made Madara recall his past encounters with Hashirama.

It seemed to have been much the same.

”Hashirama, Konoha truly has an incredible successor.”

Madara’s fighting spirit soared.

Did they think they could defeat him with such methods?

How laughable.

”Fire Release: Dragon Flame Caterwaul!”

Madara opened his mouth.

With the almost infinite chakra of his Edo Tensei body, the surging flames transformed into a sea of fire and covered the entire sky.

Susanoo raised its weapon high and slashed down at the three Kage.

Facing this powerful blow from the Complete Body Susanoo, even Tsunade and A did not dare ignore it.

If they were struck by this slash, it would truly be fatal.

”Is this guy planning to clear the field?”

Kenichi narrowed his eyes.

He knew that Madara had not fully unleashed all his trump cards yet.

He had not even begun using Wood Release, and Madara still seemed to be fighting with ease.

But Kenichi did not intend to give Madara the chance to fully unleash his power and use Wood Release or other ninjutsu.

”Nagato, we need to leave here quickly.”

Kenichi spoke to Nagato while continuously controlling the Senju Buddha statue to attack the Complete Body Susanoo.

He had not even let Nagato attack Madara this time, precisely to avoid excessive losses to Nagato’s puppets.

Moreover, this statement was meant for Nagato’s true body.

Kenichi knew that Nagato’s true body was definitely nearby.

If they did not leave and the atomic bomb exploded, Nagato would likely be severely injured.

It would be too ridiculous if Nagato died prematurely here.

Kenichi looked at Nagato.

He had an idea.

A complete Madara needed the Rinnegan.

So, if Kenichi completely destroyed the Rinnegan beforehand, crushed it, burned it, and scattered the ashes, would Madara still be so powerful?

However, it had not reached that point yet.

”Okay.”

Nagato nodded, understanding Kenichi’s meaning.

In the next second, Kenichi continued increasing the chakra infusion, almost exhausting all the chakra in his body.

Then he left a clone standing on the Buddha statue, while his true body was swiftly pulled away by the Deva Path of Pain, flying into the distance.

This scene went unnoticed by Madara.

He was currently planning to clear the field, to make those three annoying brats leave the battlefield so he could fight Kenichi wholeheartedly.

This Kenichi was like a replica of Hashirama, igniting a fervent passion within Madara.

In his previous battle with Hashirama, if he had not sealed Izanagi in his eye, he might have truly died by Hashirama’s hand.

Biting off the flesh from Hashirama’s arm at the end had also been a manifestation of his frustration.

Frustration at his own lack of strength.

Frustration that he had been unable to defeat Hashirama.

But now that Hashirama was dead, Madara could no longer get his revenge.

So he had taken Kenichi as his new opponent.

”Something’s wrong.”

Madara, who had just slashed away Tsunade and A, looked up.

He observed the Buddha statue, which was continuously attacking, and keenly sensed a subtle abnormality.

The force of the Buddha statue’s attacks had decreased.

The power had become very even, and it was gradually weakening, giving the feeling of dwindling momentum.

Madara narrowed his eyes.

He saw only one person standing on the Senju Buddha statue.

Presumably, that was the junior named Kenichi.

But then Madara noticed something wrong.

That Kenichi was too rigid.

And his aura felt off.

”A clone?”

Madara was momentarily stunned.

Leaving only a clone standing there?

What was Kenichi planning?

Could he be planning a sneak attack?

Madara remembered that both Black Zetsu and Obito had mentioned that Kenichi also possessed the Mangekyo Sharingan, and that his ocular ninjutsu was quite peculiar, unlike conventional Mangekyo techniques.

”Run!”

Just then, Onoki’s urgent voice came.

Madara saw A and Tsunade, who had just been fighting him tooth and nail, suddenly begin fleeing desperately without caring about anything else.

Madara looked up in confusion.

Then he saw a blinding white light bloom above his head.

It was too fast.

Madara could see how the flames were generated in an instant, but he had no way to escape.

An aura of destruction rushed over him.

The blinding white light, the instant high temperature, and the terrifying pressure shattered the Complete Body Susanoo in an instant.

A powerful sense of discomfort surged through Madara’s heart.

It felt as though his entire body was burning.

Madara’s body instantly shattered into pieces under the attack of this level of weapon.

”Hahahahaha! Amamiya Kenichi, I, Uchiha Madara, admit...”

His words were cut short as the explosion and high pressure swept over everything, destroying the entire battlefield.

A mushroom cloud rose into the sky.

The forest, which had already suffered a nuclear attack once before, was once again ravaged by a nuclear blast.

The roaring nuclear weapon exploded again.

The massive mushroom cloud was so clear that even the ninja of Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Konoha could see it.

The battlefield instantly fell silent.

But then new fighting broke out again.

They still did not know the fate of the Kage, and they had no other choice but to kill their enemies.

This was what it meant to be a ninja.

”...Although this isn’t the first time I’ve seen it, each time is still astonishing.”

Orochimaru licked his lips, excitedly observing the distant mushroom cloud.

This mushroom cloud was much larger than the one after a thermobaric bomb explosion.

Just standing here and watching it gave an extremely strong sense of oppression.

Orochimaru was a little curious.

His student had used such a move, so what exactly was the battle situation like?

Were those Kage truly that strong?

Strong enough to force Kenichi and the leader to use that weapon?

Or had some uncontrollable change occurred in the battle?

However, there was no need to consider any of that now.

The battle there had already been decided.

So he, Orochimaru, needed to quickly achieve his strategic plan.

”This should be the last one, right?”

Meanwhile, in the Land of Flame, Obito, who had narrowly escaped Madara, was clutching a piece of paper tightly.

It read: ”Rin Nohara’s location, the place where everything began.”

Obito’s expression looked terrible.

He naturally understood that ”the place where everything began” referred to the place where he had first received the note.

So Rin was actually still in the capital of the Land of Flame?

He had been led on such a long chase, only for the other party to tell him that his target was actually still in the capital?

Then what had been the point of running around so much?

What did that bastard Kenichi take him for?

Thinking of this, Obito’s rage became somewhat uncontrollable.

But for Rin, he rushed back to the capital without hesitation.

Then, in the original room, he saw a new note.

”In the cave on the nearby mountain, Rin Nohara is waiting for you.”

”...”

Obito took a deep breath, suppressing the anger in his heart, and then sped off again.

This time, there were finally no strange notes or Rin’s personal belongings.

At the entrance of the cave, Obito saw six ninja standing guard.

Obito revealed a crazed smile.

Was Kenichi planning to use Rin to deal with him?

But the anger he had suppressed along the way, the rage of being led around like a dog, was now uncontrollable.

He desperately needed a fight to calm the almost uncontrollable frenzy inside him.

Fueled by rage, Obito charged at the six ninja guarding the cave.

But to his surprise, he killed those six ninja with extreme ease.

A hint of bewilderment flashed through Obito’s mind.

These ninja were too weak.

They even gave Obito the feeling of genin.

This did not match the strength level of Kenichi’s subordinates.

When he had tried to snatch Rin before, he had been heavily entangled by those ninja, even getting injured several times and having to use Kamui to evade their attacks.

But this time, Obito had killed these six ninja with great ease.

They seemed to have come here just to die.

A bad premonition flashed through Obito’s mind.

That bastard Kenichi seemed to know him very well, and he also seemed to know his identity.

If that was the case, then what was the meaning behind Kenichi doing this now?

What exactly was he planning?

Wasting his time?

Making him run circles around the Land of Flame?

Obito did not understand.

He rushed into the cave.

Then he saw a pale, delicate arm tightly clutching a piece of paper.

Obito walked over with a slight tremor.

He gently took the paper from the hand.

”Rin Nohara is indeed waiting for you, but only one hand is waiting for you. Rin Nohara is currently in Gokuraku Hot Spring Town in the Land of Lightning. If you don’t hurry...”

Nothing was written after that.

But just seeing the words ”Gokuraku Hot Spring Town” made Obito lose his composure.

He naturally knew what kind of place that was.

Although Obito had never been there, he had some understanding of such establishments in the Shinobi World.

He had even once discussed with Kakashi about visiting that place in the future.

But he had never expected Rin to be sent to that place.

”Amamiya Kenichi!”

Obito let out a roar filled with extreme anger.

He grabbed Rin’s arm and rushed out in a hurry.

Although he did not know whether this was a trap, and although he had considered ignoring Rin’s fate, he could not do it.

Because Kenichi was using obvious bait, and with Obito’s deep feelings for Rin, he simply could not ignore that possibility.

Obito left in a rage.

He now wished he could turn back and slaughter the entire capital of the Land of Flame.

But thinking that Rin might not have much time, remembering the puppet he had seen that day, and the person lying on it that day, Obito felt as if his heart was about to break.

So Obito rushed out recklessly, gritting his teeth in secret.

Once he found Rin and settled her down, Obito swore he would make Kenichi pay the price.
