Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 449: Chapter 448: Queen’s Ominous Premonition, Tiger on the Cliff

Who can refuse a shape-shifting robot? She indeed likes cute things, but she won’t turn down something so cool.

Because of the manga, Germa 66’s battle suits have amassed a large following in the North Sea, and a mechanical Pokemon like Genesect that can truly transform is even easier to attract fans.

”Sure, I’ll prepare a smaller one for you in a few days.”

The initial intent of Genesect’s creation was to guard certain islands, War Machine Soldiers, which were positioned in the Hundred Beasts Pirates as the pirate version of Peacekeepers, so their size was made somewhat larger.

This size is suitable for the battlefield, but it’s too big as a playmate. Since Yamato has shown interest, it would be fine to build one that’s slightly smaller in size after a while.

”Okay, but foster father, what are they going to do?”

”Weapon testing, they should be over at Queen’s place now.”

...

Genesect’s flying speed is very fast, and in no time, it had arrived at the Udon Region’s testing field for the Hundred Beasts’ new weapon. Not far away was Queen’s weapon laboratory, where he naturally saw what the originally built robots had become.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Genesect’s attack accurately hit the target. The original spot for the targets had now turned into three large pits.

The light cannon on Genesect’s back, enhanced by Arceus, had become extremely powerful, but for some reason, Queen didn’t feel any happiness.

The number on Genesect’s chest is very clear. Although he doesn’t know what GT stands for, he understands another truth: the modern weapon style of Genesect, along with the chest number, indicates to others that these are mass-produced machines.

The bug-like robotic appearance will definitely cause such misunderstandings, along with the Bloodline Factor-like Energy Cannon... Queen had a premonition that his bounty would inevitably increase again.

Looking at Genesect’s weapons, Queen had some special thoughts. Since the prototypes of those light cannons were weapons he had created, the weapons inside his body should be upgradeable too. He felt it necessary to apply for a secondary modification from Arceus.

For example, upgrading those internal weapons is necessary to address potential crises he might face.

Then, Genesect conducted a series of tests. After compiling the data, Genesect left the place. These data, along with the design diagrams in his room, could indeed cause outsiders to misunderstand easily.

This time, Tesoro didn’t linger long on Ghost Island, quickly setting off with the prepared supplies and Pokemon towards Fishman Island.

The mission was to establish a mining company and exchange for Kojiro. If Jack had learned enough, he would also return to Ghost Island with Kojiro.

Navigation is a dull and lengthy process. The route from Wano Kuni to the Shampodi Islands is often traveled by the pirates of the Hundred Beasts, and many have grown tired of the scenery along the way.

Moreover, this voyage was simpler than usual, with Manaphy swimming freely in the sea, so they had no worries about disturbance from Sea Beasts. Under Manaphy’s control, ordinary marine creatures danced around the vessel, offering a different kind of entertainment to the voyage.

The Hundred Beasts continued their search for Plates across the sea, while different events unfolded across the world.

For instance, after the Revolutionary Army made a name for themselves near Freyvans, they garnered a significant following. Using these people as a base, Dragon began expanding the Revolutionary Army across the Four Seas, but these people are still a bit too weak to enter the Grand Line.

Meanwhile, Bartholomew Kuma returned to the Sobel Kingdom over trivial matters, and Dragon’s friend, Queen Emporio Ivankov from the Kamabaka Kingdom, also joined the Revolutionary Army.

Although the Revolutionary Army has yet to breach the Grand Line, the Kamabaka Kingdom served as a springboard since it is located on the Peach Island of the Grand Line. However, many are reluctant to step onto this island.

Not because of its harsh environment, but due to its peculiar residents. The Kamabaka Kingdom, known as the Okama Kingdom, is considered a nightmare by some.

In the North Sea, though the Donquixote family often faced Tsuru’s pursuit, Law still proved his value. Together with baby-5 and Buffalo, he robbed a wealthy merchant from their new base, acquiring the medicine he needed.

Months of medication taught him one thing: this medicine was not a cure for Platinum Lead disease. While it enhances resistance, and with it, he might endure for a few more months, it was not a comprehensive cure.

Many mysteries lingered in his mind, making him eager to confront the Nun for answers, but the opportunity never arose.

Meanwhile, a major event was taking place on the Red Earth Continent.

The Red Earth Continent appeared exceptionally quiet under the night. Although the bubble tram at the Red Port was still in operation, Fisher Tiger was climbing in the shadows far away from there.

There weren’t any defenses around the Red Earth Continent—it’s unimaginable for the World Government to build fences or install sentries around the entire Red Earth Continent. Besides, they didn’t believe anyone could climb it due to its daunting height.

But on this night, something abnormal occurred. The climber had no protective gear, and he was scaling the Red Earth Continent with his bare hands.

The massive cliff bore some protrusions allowing him some leverage. However, many rocks had eroded under the elements; one wrong step, and a stone beneath his foot suddenly crumbled, leaving him hanging with one hand due to lost balance.

One could see the sun-like mark on his bare chest.

Originally, it bore the Hoof of the Soaring Dragon Mark, the Heavenly Celestial Dragon’s symbol, which was Tiger’s greatest shame. So, shortly after his escape, he covered the original mark with this symbol.

The Hoof of the Soaring Dragon Mark, although only a tattoo, was infused with a certain potion making it irremovable by conventional means. Covering it was the only option. This was also the perplexing reason why Hancock and her sisters didn’t opt to cover it with the Kuja mark for years.

Psychological trauma outweighs the pain of branding, but they never attempted to cover it for years.

Dangling with one hand, Tiger searched desperately for a new foothold and unexpectedly discovered a cave in the cliff.

Although internally it had collapsed and sealed shut, the remaining space was enough for a temporary rest. These remnants were traces left by the Onix in the past...
