Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 448: Chapter 447: War Machine Soldier - Genesect

Sasaki took the first step in his career at the Hundred Beasts in the quarry. He is now in a rather peculiar situation where, out of his worship for the Chairman, he chose to join the company but ignored one issue: the Chairman may not be the one in charge regularly.

Due to his blind worship of the Chairman, he ignored the company’s second-largest shareholder, who is the one usually managing the internal affairs of the group. This indirectly resulted in a poor first impression with the internal CEO and department managers when he joined.

Although he hasn’t lost anything he deserved, during his probationary period, he might have to endure some difficulties.

On the other hand, Tesoro is already prepared. Manaphy and the Swamperts are ready for the journey, but there’s still one more thing to prepare before they set off.

The Hundred Beasts do not plan to establish a permanent officer at Fishman Island. Mandfeish, who handles the connection between the Shampodi Islands and the New World, also works part-time and is preparing a Land Mermaid Paradise plan.

The Hundred Beasts never forbade their subordinates from conducting personal business under the guise of official duties. As long as the reasons are sufficient and the benefits are enough, Kaidou can step in to solve bigger troubles. The word ’docile’ has never been associated with Kaidou. Not attacking others is his greatest concession.

Not planning to set up more officers does not mean not increasing military strength. Manaphy has proven through tests that, although he cannot command all Sea King Types like the Sea King, he can at least persuade Sea King Types in certain regions to leave, making mining safety not a problem.

Moreover, some Gyarados reside in the waters near the Shampodi Islands, which Manaphy can control. These are the maritime forces, and there are also some armaments on the ships that need to be enhanced.

For example, an Ancient Pokemon - Genesect.

With its Bug and Steel attributes, its resistance to attacks is not low. Although it is relatively weak to fire, it depends on what kind of fire. Plus, its main activity area is near Fishman Island, where the ocean environment minimizes the impact of fire.

The fear of fire has a limit. Theoretically, Groudon is weak to water, but ordinary water would just be evaporated by it. Attribute restraint is never absolute.

The attack ability causing instant fainting also applies. In the game, Pinsir’s Guillotine can make Groudon faint instantly, but in reality, it would at best trim the opponent’s toenails. Moreover, Groudon can also demonstrate that, even if you can fly, its Precipice Blades can still bring you down.

The humanoid robot manufactured by Queen as required has also been delivered. Having a carrier is much easier than creating one from scratch, but this mainly applies to Pokemon like Genesect, which already resemble artificial robots.

The body is not the most important part; the crucial component is the cannon at the back. The original Genesect did not have the laser cannon at its back; it was an extra modification added by Team Plasma when reviving Genesect.

Even without the mounted laser cannon, Genesect remains the most powerful hunter of ancient times. However, having one more weapon is not a bad thing. They aren’t hosting a coming-of-age ceremony and don’t need to do without their high-tech weapons like the Iron-blooded Warriors and rely solely on melee combat.

Team Plasma has advanced scientific technology, and the cannon added to Genesect can even change cartridges to alter its attack attributes.

Elemental Attacks aren’t secrets in the MADS Research Team. Judge, who studies the Bloodline Factor, has already integrated special powers into his children’s combat systems through battle suits. Queen has also incorporated these abilities into his human modifications.

Moreover, with Tropius’s abilities and the power of the Pokemon’s moves, Queen developed a new weapon energy source. The special weapon he was tasked to create was based on this.

The reason for creating samples wasn’t that Arceus’s ability falls short of technology, but because such technology is too low-level for him.

Switching attack attributes for him is just a matter of thought. With such abilities, there’s no need to study how to mimic them through technology.

In a way, this power is too primitive for him, so he hasn’t investigated it.

Rather than expending effort to figure out how to transform, it’s better to combine Queen’s existing research with his power for modifications, saving time and effort without affecting the outcome.

Queen has created a total of three sample machines, each standing around five meters tall, much larger than the original Genesect.

At this moment, both the Iron and Insect Plates are functioning. The Insect Plate gives life to the soul, while the Iron Plate perfects the external shell and back armament.

As power infused, the appearance of Queen’s experimental machines began to change.

The legs and arms gradually took on segmented structures similar to insects, with hook-clawed ends slightly bent upwards.

The head gradually transformed into a saucer shape, as a crimson glow flashed across the eyes’ positions, and Genesect arrived in this world.

”Master.”

A slightly mechanical voice was emitted from Genesect. Although not unique, Genesect is part of the mythical creatures as well, adding another member to the Arceus family, or rather, triplets this time.

”You will be their leader from now on, and your siblings will be born soon.”

There were no actual differences between the three machines, but this one happened to be at the forefront, thus naturally becoming the eldest of the triplets.

...

Not long after, all three Genesects gained their consciousness. However, they are still not the complete Genesect yet, as Arceus’s power continues to gather. Thirty-three differently colored cards appeared in the sky.

And the cartridge slot next to the beam cannon on Genesect’s back also opened up, integrating those card-like miniatures into their bodies.

They represent the current power of the Plate attributes: fire, normal, dark, water, grass, electric, fairy, rock, dragon, steel, bug. Although they cannot switch their attributes, they can choose the attack modes of the beam cannon.

Beside them, Yamato’s Smeargle was marking the Genesects, with the leader in red and the other two in purple. Their chests were inscribed with GT0 to GT2 respectively.

GT0 was the leader, while the other two were its siblings.

At this moment, he planned, as required by Arceus, to take his siblings to the testing range to try out the weapon’s power. The bodies of the three Genesects twisted and folded, quickly transforming into floating cannon-like shapes.

This was their high-speed flying form, their posture for pursuing prey. However, in the eyes of the general public, these are transforming robots.

And transforming robots hold a powerful allure for many pirates.

”So cool, foster father, they’re so cool! Can I have one too?”
