Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 150: Chapter 149: Is This Really a 5,000 Belly Job?

”You should be aware that at sea, they can’t do anything to me.”

This is the sea, with the Splash Plate Arceus can freely manipulate seawater, controlling this vast sea. If it weren’t for wanting to see the strength of an Admiral, he has many ways to evade them.

On land there are fire whirlpools, and at sea, there are also Water-Type whirlpools. This time it’s as if we’ve been farming for too long, so we’re coming out to stretch our muscles.

”I’m very clear about your power, but please forgive my stubbornness.

Our duty is to help you find lost things, defend your existence, I cannot retreat before you. If everything requires your direct action, then it would be pointless to have created us.”

Zeraora stood next to Arceus, this is the only time he’s disobeyed Arceus’s orders.

”Forget it, suit yourself, you do indeed should see the pinnacle of this world’s power.”

Zeraora hasn’t had many confrontations with people, the only enemies were that group of organ trafficking assassination squads, but they aren’t a suitable standard for judging combat power, Sengoku leading the fleet can help Zeraora better understand his own stage of strength.

”Understood.” Seeing Arceus did not continue ordering him to leave, he breathed a sigh of relief, for the first time he could be stubborn, but if Arceus insisted he leave, he would have to comply. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

At this moment, his fur stood upright, showing he’s using the stored electric energy in his body, floating next to Arceus, this isn’t electromagnetic floating, but rather his unique skill.

His hands and paws can discharge large amounts of electricity, using this current to create powerful magnetic fields, moving through the air with magnetic force to achieve high-speed flight.

Departure of Arceus and Zeraora naturally drew the Navy’s attention, Sengoku has always been called the Wise General, and intelligence in this area is important.

Undoubtedly, the Navy’s intelligence network is much stronger than the pirates, whether from the Navy’s own undercover agents or the intelligence provided by World Government CPs, it all aggregates to the Navy Headquarters.

As a Headquarter Admiral, Sengoku had very high authority in this area, and each Admiral has their familiar lieutenant, Sengoku’s lieutenant had already organized the intelligence and placed it in front of Sengoku.

”Unknown creature? Five thousand Belly? Nothing else?”

”Yes, we have no records on that creature in the sky. This wanted poster is the only information. However, Mr. Zephyr had once reported similar intelligence, but after analysis by the intelligence department, it was considered to be King’s Flame Disaster ability.”

Arceus’s lifestyle can be described as secluded, usually Kaidou is the one presenting himself to the world, the Navy doesn’t know much about Arceus.

The wanted poster has already left a preconceived stereotype, resulting in most powers being seen as other’s abilities.

”What about that Fur Race?”

”No information, they should be a newly joined member.”

Although the Navy doesn’t have the Fur Race internally, Zeraora’s appearance is too similar to the Fur Race, leading Sengoku to recognize him as a Fur Race, and an ability user, after all, there are no records of flying Fur Race.

Before Sengoku issued new orders, Arceus had already presented a greeting gift, Draco Meteor, also known as Draco Meteor Shower. The New Plate always needs to be used. Now is the time for him to experience the power of the Draco Plate.

Dragon-Type energy erupted, forming a dense meteor shower in the sky crashing towards the fleet where Sengoku was.

”Is this a pet? The intelligence department, are those people useless!”

Looking at the raining Draco Meteor, Sengoku severely questioned the capability of the intelligence personnel, if the judgment is poor, don’t make reckless judgment, he has never heard of such creatures, presumably a Zoan-type ability user in Beast Form, people like that have also been seen before.

Sengoku’s body emitted a golden light, transforming into the Great Buddha Form, and then an impact wave was sent into the sky.

Sengoku is known as Sengoku Buddha not because he is very Buddha-like, but due to his Fruit Ability Human-Human Fruit Phantom Beast Species - Great Buddha Form, besides the inherently mighty Buddha’s Golden Body, the impact wave from his palm attacks is one of his main fighting methods.

Without holding back due to relationships, Buddha’s Impact surrounded the entire fleet, and after a series of violent tremors, the probing attack by Draco Meteor was successfully intercepted by him.

”Blocked it, not bad, so where is your limit?”

A new batch of Draco Meteor appeared again out of nowhere, compared to the previous attack, this time the Draco Meteor was more numerous and larger in size, and the original debuff of Draco Meteor causing temporary lowering of special attack was offset by his self-encouragement power.

Looking at the impending Draco Meteor attack, Sengoku’s mouth twitched, realizing that to solve such an attack, it must be addressed from the source, but now he couldn’t, he already missed the opportunity.

If he left here to find Arceus, the soldiers onboard would inevitably suffer heavy casualties, only his ability could perfectly defend this fleet.

”Borsalino! Go disrupt his attack!”

Sengoku didn’t believe letting Borsalino replace him in fleet defense was a wise choice, his laser may be able to shatter those strange meteors, but can’t extinguish them all completely, rashly changing defenders could cause other issues.

So having him interrupt the opponent’s attack, and then stop any further reckless strikes on the fleet was the best decision, however, Borsalino didn’t manage to follow orders strictly, from recruit camp he carried a lazy demeanor.

”Sengoku-san, it seems quite troublesome, can’t I not go?”

”What do you think?”

”Ah, I see, no need to be so impatient, got it.”

Kuzan, Sakazuki, Borsalino, the future Three Great Admirals had became part of the Navy now, since joining they were called monsters within the Navy.

They lived up to the title of monsters, graduating from Zephyr’s training camp, they received the rank of Colonel, which is the highest rank a recruit can receive based on Navy regulations, the rank of General not only requires skill but also battle merits.

But special recruits from the World Government can break these rules, including directly being granted ranks above Colonel.

Sakazuki and Borsalino joined earlier than Kuzan, it’s been five years now.

Currently, Borsalino holds the rank of Junior Admiral at the Headquarters, although their strength extends beyond this, they are slightly lacking in merits. Now the three are training alongside others, the Navy intends to groom them for future Admiral positions.
