Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 115: Chapter 114: Katakuri Is Still on His Way

Zeraora suddenly appeared in front of Setsuna, throwing a ball of lightning onto the enemy before her.

The violent lightning dealt with the enemy in an instant, and then he looked at Setsuna beside him, grabbed her, and tossed her backward, directly throwing her back. The Fur Race has high agility, spinning twice in mid-air, Setsuna landed steadily on the ground.

”Zeraora, what are you doing!”

”This battle is too early for you. Before you run, at least learn to walk first. Charging straight into the enemy’s line is not suitable for you. You should stand next to those Chess Soldiers.”

He didn’t oppose Setsuna’s participation in the battle, but he was against her charging alone into the enemy lines. Maybe she wouldn’t listen, but Zeraora had a rather simple solution: just deal with all the enemies before Setsuna acted so there was no need to worry about this issue.

Since the problem is difficult to solve, just skip the steps and make the people who cause the problems disappear, so the problems disappear with them. Lightning enveloped his body, and in an instant, Zeraora surpassed the Chess Soldiers who had surrounded the enemy earlier.

His speed is very fast, but compared to just a moment ago, there is a very obvious difference. His current speed belongs to the category of fast movement, but just a moment ago it was more like teleportation, which is his own skill, an alternative application of Volt Switch.

The original usage is that he attacks and immediately retreats, with the next Pokemon taking his place in the battle. But here there are no Pokeballs, and the same ability can be used in different ways.

What just happened was his innovation, a variant usage of Volt Switch developed by Zeraora, who was born in the Pirate World, which effectively changed the sequence of Volt Switch.

He designated Setsuna as an ally, instantly appearing at her position to attack the enemy in front of her, and then threw her back to a safe position.

Then it was his own battle time, with his fists enveloped in electricity. Even though these people were the battle members of an organ trafficking assassination group, they fell like cut wheat.

Plasma Lightning Fist, a skill exclusive to Zeraora. Besides its own effect, after Plasma Lightning Fist ends, he enters a charged state, and Normal Type attacks will be converted into Electric Type attacks.

Zeraora’s full-running speed is comparable to lightning, and during this process, his fur and the lightning form a unique membrane, allowing his body to adapt to this speed.

Even if he doesn’t hit the opponent, the stray currents nearby will also knock the enemy down. Although Zeraora himself doesn’t have organs that generate electricity, his capacity is very large. The electricity charged to him by Arceus is enough to achieve ultra-long standby during high-intensity battles.

In less than a minute, dozens of armed members were completely wiped out, and the Chess Soldiers of the BIG MOM Pirates were only left to clean up the aftermath, not being able to intervene at all.

”Such a strong Fur Race....”

Fur Race is rare on The Sea, but in the New World, there are traces of the Fur Race to be seen. Unlike the common misunderstanding about the Fur Race among ordinary people, pirates who have lived in the New World for a long time have some understanding of the Fur Race.

They know the Fur Race has a unique way of using electricity, but it’s the first time they heard that electricity can be exaggerated to this degree.

Currently, Tottland is still expanding, lacking many internal races. Not to mention the Giant Race that is naturally hostile to BIG MOM, some rare races do not live here either.

Within the Tottland Kingdom, you can see creatures similar to the Fur Race, but those aren’t the Fur Race; rather, they are Homies obtained after Charlotte Linlin used the Soul-Soul Fruit to modify animals and anthropomorphize them.

The ability to use electricity and speak human languages is almost a characteristic exclusive to the Fur Race. Zeraora’s actions today have made Perospero pay more attention to this race.

Even the external electricity melted his candy walls. At this moment, he feels something strange towards the Hundred Beasts Pirates. Why does each of their members possess high-temperature abilities?

Although the enemies were solved by a guest, as long as they were dealt with, nothing else matters. If they really caused some irreparable consequences, Perospero wouldn’t know what his future would be like.

Everyone who witnessed this battle was amazed by the power burst out by Zeraora, even Setsuna was no exception. Although she was born in Zou, at most, she had only witnessed the warriors training.

Zou has been peaceful for a long time, without any large-scale battles erupting. Although the Fluffy Kingdom claims Hichugiskhan as the strongest warrior, she has never seen him in action.

The power demonstrated by Zeraora is the strongest she has seen among the Fur Race. Although the Fur Race is different from beasts, they retain the instincts of beasts, such as reverence for the strong. A powerful Fur Race is more likely to be favored by a group.

Although some Fur Race individuals only like members of the same kind or animals, like Bepo searching for a female bear on Nine Serpent Island, quite a large number of the Fur Race do not dwell on these issues.

The total number of residents on Zou is less than twenty thousand. If they only mate with the same kind of Fur Race, they could easily go extinct.

Usually, they find a target they like. As for the type of the offspring, it doesn’t have the strong randomness of Merfolk and Fishmen; it will inherit the genes of either the father or the mother, of the same species.

However, some people are not satisfied with Zeraora’s performance, like Kaidou.

”Too young, doesn’t understand women...”

He thinks Zeraora should have let Setsuna realize her weakness before stepping in. Although she might get hurt, the effect would be better than this. Nonetheless, the result is good, Zeraora still gained Setsuna’s admiration.

However, not everyone agrees with Kaidou’s words. Queen raised a similar question, asking with a playful tone.

”Brother Kaidou, it seems like you don’t have much interaction with women either, right?”

”My way with women is great, just that you haven’t seen it.”

Kaidou doesn’t mind his closest subordinates joking with him, and he is really confident about this matter.

Kaidou is quite confident about this, and he indeed has connections with many people, spanning a wide age range, barely describable as conquering young and old alike.

Zeraora didn’t go for the kill. If he used claws instead of fists, these people would most likely be torn apart by him directly. But that scene would be too bloody, which he deemed unsuitable for children to watch, so he only used his fists.

Besides those directly hit by him, the rest were mostly only knocked out and have already been captured by the Chess Soldiers.
