Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 103: Chapter 102: Authority of Creation and Zeraora

”We are pirates, do you understand? We are all bad people.”

Looking at the Fur Race girl who had clung to her, she felt very helpless. Even though her current identity was that of a pirate, and a target wanted by the World Government, she didn’t think there was anything good about this identity.

If it weren’t for that incident back then, if it weren’t for the relentless pursuit of the World Government, she might be living a peaceful life now.

Olga was a special case, due to pure gold she almost became a target of the World Government, and back then her ”valor” caught Kaidou’s interest, which led her to be brought onto the ship as an intern.

This Fur Race girl’s combat ability was indeed higher than that of ordinary pirates, but she was too naive. Shaina could easily understand why she got captured.

She developed trust in her after just a few words, and even getting clingy. It was all too normal for a little one like her to be lured and then captured.

Such naive kids should go home and live a naive life, not go out to sea as pirates.

”But aren’t you good people? Good people save others.”

The logic was so simple that Shaina didn’t know how to refute her for a moment.

”Good people can do bad things, and bad people occasionally do good things. Since you helped a lot, I’ll just send you home. You should know the way back, right?”

”I don’t know. The Life Card to Zou was already lost, and I don’t know where Zunesha has gone.”

Zunesha is the true form of Zou Island, a gigantic elephant with a peculiar body structure. Because the Fluffy Kingdom is situated on Zunesha’s back, its position is quite unstable. Without the Life Card, even the Fur Race cannot find the way home, but may only locate the approximate area.

She wasn’t joking. When she got captured, the Life Card was already lost. If she really wanted to send her back to Zou, it would take quite some effort, or they’d have to find a Life Card to Zou on the black market.

”Let me tell you, pirates are a very fierce group. You lot, stop goofing around, show her a fiercer face!”

She glanced at a few pirates moving supplies nearby, intending to have them demonstrate the pirate’s demeanor, so this naive Fur Race girl could understand the reality of the situation.

But she made a mistake; no matter how deliberately fierce human expressions might be, they are trivial compared to wolves. In her eyes, these pirates were just pulling faces.

”Boss... We seem to have no way out...”

”Forget it, just keep doing your thing.” In the end, Shaina returned to the ship with this little leg-hugger. She could easily detach her, but since she had seen through the manager’s disguise, she hesitated.

”Have you really made your decision?”

”I have decided. I want to go with you and become very strong. When I return to Zou, I want them to see me in a new light!”

At the start of the Hundred Beasts’ ship’s return voyage, there was now a little Fur Race member aboard.

”Shaina, did you pick up a little follower?”

”Lord Sacred Beast, she was saved from that island, but the situation is a bit special.”

Shaina then summed up her specific situation.

”If she wants to follow, let her. People must be responsible for their choices. A Fur Race, huh...”

Due to being punished, Zunesha keeps moving within a certain sea area, and its information is quite inferior compared to the Thousand-Year Dragon flying worldwide.

Kaidou was quite pleased about this matter. After all, the Fur Race is a combat race, and with some training, any adult Fur Race member becomes a powerful force.

A group under Hundred Beasts had been voyaging across different seas seeking the Plates, but due to lack of manpower and strength, the results were not significant. The Fur Race is inherently a combat race, so Arceus came to the deck at night.

”The image of the Fur Race, this should do.”

Five Plates flew out in succession, pondered for a moment, the Zap Plate appeared in the central position. In the past, he used the power of one Plate or a bit of his own power, but this time was different; he activated all the Plates.

Because this time his purpose was not to modify, but to create. Creation was his ability, regardless of whether the Plates were gathered or not, this ability remained, he just rarely used it.

Missing a Plate is like losing a handy tool; manually twisting a screw is quite laborious, but with five Plates exerting more force, trying creation wouldn’t hurt.

A light spot appeared out of thin air in the atmosphere, then began to develop like an embryo; soon a 1.5-meter-tall yellow figure appeared on the ship.

”Indeed, creation is the most exhausting...”

Compared to the short time spent on modification and empowerment, this creation took longer, but the effect was more prominent. Soon the creature in front of Arceus opened its eyes.

It slightly twisted its jaw and knelt on one knee before Arceus.

”Zeraora, at your service... My lord.”

Zeraora, the Thunderbolt Pokemon, a mythical beast, the first Pokemon Arceus created from thin air in this world, yet endowed him with certain memories and linguistic abilities, it can be said he spent quite some effort.

”From today, your identity is as a Fur Race born overseas. Build a good relationship with that wolf Fur Race girl; your goal is one day to become the new king of the Fur Race.”

Agrarian development is a deeply ingrained gene; Hundred Beasts, BIG MOM’s channel, Thousand-Year Dragon, he has always been expanding his channels.

The combat power of the Fur Race, especially the Moon Lions, is impressive. Once they find a more suitable Plate to allow him to create the Moon God, the Fur Race with Moon Lion powers would make anyone think twice.

The Fluffy Kingdom and Wano Kuni have an alliance; they are allied nations, not subsidiaries. If it weren’t for Inuarashi and Nekomamushi inheriting Zou’s throne, and Jack’s behavior on the island, the Fur Race wouldn’t be like a subsidiary nation.

However, because Inuarashi and Nekomamushi became Oden’s household attendants, it caused the status of these once brotherly allied nations to degrade. If a new king were chosen, the attitudes of both sides would ultimately change somewhat.

Zeraora’s appearance is that of an upright cat, indistinguishable from the Cat Fur Race, using electrical power just the same. Besides the Moon Lion form, he can perfectly uphold this identity.

Fur Race born at sea isn’t unheard of, no one can deny him. Afterward, Arceus began charging Zeraora.

Unlike typical Electric-type Pokemon, Zeraora does not have electrical organs, but he can absorb external electric energy and store it for use using the pads on his hands and feet to generate electric current creating a magnetic field, enabling flight through this magnetic field.
