Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 82: Chapter 82: Combo Move—Queen Bowling Ball

Shaina’s reputation within the territory was quite good as the Hundred Beast Corps’ discipline committee member. She not only abided by the rules set by Arceus and Asie but also maintained the internal conduct of the Hundred Beasts Pirate Group.

This gave the territory’s residents a good impression of her. While ordinary pirates were somewhat fearful, they were more in awe. As long as they did not cross the red line, Shaina was a very respectable big sister, always at the forefront in battles, taking on the toughest challenges.

However, to outsiders, she had a fearsome reputation as the Flame Claw Princess. Countless enemy pirates had perished under her flame-imbued claws.

She had built this reputation due to her long periods in her Human-Beast Form, and her semi-beastified hands and feet.

Just one Queen was already difficult for Perospero to handle, and adding Shaina into the mix, they were not a match.

However, retreating was not an easy task either. Nowadays, many were reluctant to engage the Hundred Beasts Pirate Group on the Sea, as nearly everyone from the Captain to the ranks seemed to have the ability to fly.

Flight and floating, though serving the same purpose, were fundamentally different.

The short-term floating could not compare to natural flight ability.

At Sea, a ship was the only foothold, and unless one belonged to an aquatic race like the Fishmen, falling into the Sea weakened any pirate significantly.

Even if they were not Devil Fruit users, the resistance of seawater would hinder their efforts, and the air superiority of the Hundred Beasts Pirate Group was fully utilized.

Facing an opponent that could fly, it wasn’t easy to escape, and Perospero’s abilities were completely countered by Shaina’s.

Queen’s Solar Beam skill carried continuous high temperatures, but all of Shaina’s attacks were accompanied by intense flames.

Their body techniques were not on the same Level, and with the Lick-Lick Fruit’s abilities rendered ineffective, Perospero was left powerless against the enemy.

However, things sometimes took a strange turn. Just as Shaina was about to make a move, someone who hindered her appeared.

Having ”exchanged friendly blows” with Shaina so many times, Queen was quite familiar with Shaina’s attack methods. Seeing the flames at the corners of her mouth, he could already tell what Shaina’s next move was.

According to past habits, this was a precursor to her using Fire Blast. There was no skill table limiting the number of skills here, and she knew many skills. Using Fire Blast on the Sea was fine, but the problem was that this was his banana orchard.

Queen contemplated the consequences of Shaina’s Fire Blast eruption. He wasn’t sure if Perospero would survive, but his bananas certainly wouldn’t be saved.

”No, stop!”

His body reacted first, directly grabbing hold of one of Shaina’s legs, causing her to lose balance in her low-fly state and fail to release Fire Blast.

”What are you trying to do, you idiot!” Shaina’s other leg naturally stepped on Queen’s face. Although not engulfed in flames, it still caused minor distortions to Queen’s face.

”Let go of me, are you defecting or something!”

Shaina knew Queen couldn’t be doing that, as this guy was somewhat cowardly. Not to mention beating her, knowing Arceus was nearby, he wouldn’t be stupid enough to defect.

But besides that term, she couldn’t quite understand what had gotten into Queen.

”No, listen to me carefully. Letting them leave might not be so bad.”

”What nonsense are you spouting?”

”Think about it. They’re BIG MOM’s people. Big Brother Kaidou and Big Mom seem to have some sort of relationship, so we can’t just kill them outright.

If we capture them, you’ll have to spend time guarding them, delaying Lord Arceus’ treasure hunt. Wouldn’t that be bad?

Why don’t we just let them leave, saving Big Brother Kaidou and Lord Arceus’ time? Isn’t that reasonable.”

Queen displayed an ”I’m looking out for you” demeanor, using service to Arceus as his reasoning. While Shaina prioritizes Arceus, mentioning him doesn’t mean her intelligence drops to zero.

”Do you think I’m an idiot? They would just bring more people back, and you certainly wouldn’t be a match for them. The end result would still be the same.”

”No, this way I’d have enough time to move my bananas. If you fight now, this banana grove will be destroyed!”

Queen voiced his true concerns, causing Shaina’s expression to change slightly.

”You idiot... I should just eat you! Fine, I’ll switch to a gentler attack method. I remember you’ve been practicing your Armament Haki recently. You better hope it’s strong enough.”

”Wait, what are you going to do!” Queen felt a bad vibe, but Shaina ignored him.

Using her waist as a pivot, her leg muscles began to exert force. To her, Queen was just a weight belt, not affecting her actions at all, and she subsequently delivered a flying kick with Queen.

Queen hadn’t reacted yet when he was kicked off by Shaina.

”Queen Bowling!”

She decided to name this move after Queen, as he was the main object of attack.

Originally, Perospero and his team were seizing the opportunity to retreat due to the peculiar ”infighting” on the Hundred Beasts’ side, but escaping in such a short time was clearly impossible.

Queen’s body, very much like a bowling ball, hurtled towards Perospero’s group.

Perospero tried using candy to stall the approaching human bowling ball, thinking it was a special tactic by Queen and Shaina. Yet, the candy barricade he created was melted instantly by the high-temperature flames released by Shaina.

Seeing Queen draw ever closer, he could only think of protecting himself.

”Candy Armor!”

The candy-formed armor wrapped around Perospero, making him resemble a bowling pin even more. Queen’s bulk occupied significant space, and Shaina, who had been at a distance just moments ago, quickly dashed over, kicking surrounding pirates into Queen’s trajectory one by one.

Under the impact of Queen Bowling, members of BIG MOM were either sent flying or crushed to the ground. Shaina achieved a strike and then swiftly knocked Perospero unconscious, ending the battle.

This battle left Perospero’s side completely wiped out, with one person fainted and another injured on the Hundred Beasts’ side. The fainting was due to suffocation from Perospero’s candy, and the injury was from friendly fire.

This bizarre fighting style left the surrounding henchmen dumbfounded, with someone even raising another ridiculous question.

”The big sister used her feet to kick, so can it be called bowling? Wouldn’t it make more sense to call it a shot?”
