The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Fu Yu finished the final plating and took a moment to admire it.

The appearance of the Hibiscus Pork was indeed unique and distinctive.

It looked beautifully colored and smelled delicious.

Fu Yu turned his head with satisfaction to look at Liu Yunong, waiting for her feedback.

At this moment, Fu Yu suddenly heard an electronic notification sound in his ear:

[Ding! NPC celebrity chef Liu Yunong’s task: Create a Hibiscus Pork that can amaze her, has been successfully completed, reward obtained: Liu Yunong’s favorability +15, one random low-level skill from Liu Yunong]

The moment he heard the system notification, Fu Yu had already turned his head to see the expression of surprise on Liu Yunong’s face that hadn’t yet withdrawn.

Compared to the system rewards for completing the task, it was Liu Yunong’s amazed expression that made Fu Yu feel extremely satisfied!

There was a sense of pride and self-esteem in astounding a great figure.

His vanity was thoroughly satisfied.

Fu Yu didn’t intend to boast, but he couldn’t suppress the smile on his lips.

He looked at Liu Yunong and humbly asked, ”Master, do you think this dish turned out okay?”

Liu Yunong looked at the almost perfect Hibiscus Pork in front of her.

The predominant thought in her mind was still shock!

Truly, shock!

How old is Fu Yu?

In his early twenties, and to have already reached such a level—truly unimaginable.

If youth is indeed an asset, then Fu Yu right now is a capitalist with vast wealth!

Truly impressive!

The more Liu Yunong looked at Fu Yu, the more she felt that this apprentice was a treasure.

For such a talent to remain at the Qianlima as just a cook is really a waste.

Such an outstanding talent should be helping her in promoting Liu Family Cuisine, truly expanding the legacy of traditional dishes.

Thinking of this, Liu Yunong felt the need to have a good discussion with Yao Shi about whether she could recruit Fu Yu.

He’s a real potential stock, genuinely so.

At this moment, the way Liu Yunong looked at Fu Yu was filled with the same bright spark as when she first met Ren Mingqing...

Wang Yulong, too, was moved!

This... although Fu Yu is part of the Qianlima’s kitchen staff, job-hopping in their industry is exceedingly common.

With limited interaction, Wang Yulong couldn’t say he understood Fu Yu very well.

Yet, he could see that this young man was indeed promising.

In terms of assessing people, Wang Yulong was experienced, having taken on several apprentices himself and navigating the kitchen for decades—he’s seen it all.

Fu Yu, this young man, was humble, polite, industrious, and exceptionally talented.

The few basic cooking skills he’d demonstrated earlier, frankly, made Wang Yulong’s eyes light up.

And in cooking Liu Family Cuisine, his ability to actively learn and use new recipes, whether it was controlling the heat or judging the seasoning...

This series of actions left Wang Yulong quite astonished.

Even knowing that Fu Yu was indeed very gifted and had a solid cooking foundation,

he couldn’t hide his amazement when seeing Fu Yu effortlessly and perfectly cook this Hibiscus Pork.

Can a person really have an innate talent for cooking?

Did Fu Yu really have no exploratory phase learning a new dish?

Curiously, he suddenly realized something.

Fu Yu wasn’t like them, who apprenticed with a master since childhood.

Fu Yu isn’t a chef who learns only one type of cuisine.

He was a chef at Qianlima Restaurant.

Moreover, Fu Yu graduated from a culinary school!

Combining these two conditions...

Wang Yulong suddenly felt it was possible!

Because Fu Yu’s initial cooking mindset wasn’t fixed; it wasn’t confined to one type of cuisine, and at the same time, his experience allowed him to learn a variety at Qianlima.

Qianlima is a well-known seafood restaurant.

These types of restaurants, besides cooking seafood dishes, also serve very classic old-style dishes and popular hot-selling dishes in the market.

Qianlima’s kitchen is a melting pot of learning.

Coming from culinary school to such a diverse culinary space was like stepping onto a grand stage for him.

On this stage, he truly could learn a lot.

Given Fu Yu’s own talents, he could easily earn the favor of renowned chefs, gaining access to invaluable cooking experiences and learning opportunities.

Thinking of this, Wang Yulong couldn’t help but feel sentimental.

Perhaps balancing the cooking of seafood dishes at Qianlima and learning Liu Family Cuisine from Liu Yunong is the most suitable learning method for Fu Yu.

Such a broad learning content could better enhance Fu Yu’s culinary skills.

Because Fu Yu is incredibly versatile.

Suddenly, Wang Yulong looked at Fu Yu again and sincerely thought:

Maybe Fu Yu really could become the top figure in the national culinary scene?

A chef, by nature, is someone who learns from many and speaks with their own voice.

And Fu Yu’s experiences perfectly matched this idea.

Realizing this, Wang Yulong felt a surge of excitement.

This young man has limitless potential!

If Fu Yu could indeed walk a path that no one has walked before in this industry,

he could surely achieve unique accomplishments in this field.

A versatile talent!

A cross-cuisine versatile talent!

It seems no one has ever managed to handle all different types of cuisine, whether they’re the renowned chefs in the circle or the hidden expert cooks.

They’re only proficient in certain fields.

No one can master all culinary methods and apply them flexibly and perfectly.

But today, Wang Yulong vaguely saw a glimpse of Fu Yu’s possible future career blueprint.

He didn’t know if when that day comes and Fu Yu rises, he’d be able to witness the moment of miracle.

But right now, Wang Yulong suddenly had a strong desire to lend a helping hand to Fu Yu, so he could complete that miracle a bit faster!

At this moment, Wang Yulong was no longer concerned about whether Fu Yu had apprenticed under the boss Liu Yunong.

Because no matter whom he learns from, Fu Yu is someone destined to shine brightly.

Compared to Liu Yunong, the most valuable thing he had was his decades of accumulated cooking experience.

Perhaps, he might offer timely advice to Fu Yu in the future.

After all, such timely assistance is likely only available during this period.

As for the future?

Even if he wanted to offer advice, he might not have the capability to do so.
