Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2269: Chapter 2264: He’s Back

After breakfast, Ning Chenguang got ready to go into the city with He Fusheng for a medical checkup.

He Yue followed behind him, watching him with reluctant eyes: ”Brother Chenguang, if you find your parents, will you not come back?”

Ning Chenguang shook his head: ”I don’t know! Let’s talk about it when the time comes!”

”Alright, you all head back now! We’re leaving, and we’ll be back for chicken tonight!” He Fusheng said and left with Ning Chenguang.

.........

Ning Yibin had retired, and his heart wasn’t in great condition lately. Coupled with Ning Chenguang being lost, his mood wasn’t good, often making him want to lose his temper at home.

An Hao simply suggested that he and his mother-in-law Zhang Yun go to a health retreat for a while!

Initially, Ning Yibin disagreed, but he couldn’t resist the persuasion from both his son and daughter-in-law.

In the end, he packed his things and went with his wife to the best health retreat in the suburbs of Nancheng City.

Qin Jian had been promoted to division commander, and logically he should have moved to the division headquarters, but because An Hao’s workplace was here, they didn’t move.

It’s just that he was alone at the military base, and he couldn’t come home every day.

Today, they received certain news that their son Ning Chenguang had been found.

So, today they’re going to drive to pick up their son.

After being apart for more than half a year, they couldn’t wait to see how the little guy was doing.

In the morning, the orderly prepared the car, and Qin Jian and his wife bought a lot of gifts and food to bring to He Family Manor.

No matter what, the He family had saved Ning Chenguang and cared for him for half a year.

This was an enormous favor!

They must repay it in the future!

”Dad, Mom! I want to go with you!” Ning Chenyang didn’t want to stay home alone; it was too boring.

Nannan had returned to her grandmother’s house, and he couldn’t find anyone to talk to.

”You better stay home! Wait for us to return together!” An Hao didn’t have time to deal with her elder son now; her mind was set on bringing her younger son home first.

”I’m really bored. Why don’t you drop me off at my cousin’s house!” Ning Chenyang was thinking about going to Yan Ye’s house. Last time, Yan Ye took him and Lin Qiushu to the amusement park.

There were many people and it was lively, and he had a great time!

So, today he wanted to go find Yan Ye again.

”Alright! Here’s what we’ll do, we’ll swing by that area and drop you off at Yan Ye’s house!” Qin Jian agreed.

The car drove to Deputy Commander Yan’s home at the military compound.

Ever since Lin Qiushu became pregnant, Feng Yuzhi insisted that they move back, to make it easier to take care of her.

So, Ning Chenyang was sent back here.

It was the weekend today, and coincidentally, Yan Huan was at home.

As the couple knocked on the door, it was Yan Huan who answered.

Seeing the tiger-headed and spirited Ning Chenyang at the door, she immediately laughed: ”Oh my, isn’t this my godson?”

”Who’s your godson?” Ning Chenyang said discontentedly, ”If you keep this up, you won’t get married!”

”You little rascal! Are you bullying me because I’m old? Let me tell you, even if I never get married, it won’t stop me from having a godson as big as you!” Yan Huan stood at the door, hands on her hips, pointing at Ning Chenyang, ”Call me godmother! Otherwise, you won’t come in!”

”Godmother!” Ning Chenyang had no choice but to obediently call her.

”Good boy!” Yan Huan patted his head in satisfaction and said to Qin Jian and his wife, ”Go about your business! I’ll take good care of him!”

”Alright! Thank you!” An Hao smiled and turned to leave, but suddenly remembered something, stopped, and looked at Yan Huan, saying, ”I’ll tell you something, Cheng Yue is back! At our affiliated hospital!”
