Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2256: Chapter 2251: Farewell!

”What... what do you mean by slowing down?” Captain didn’t understand what Hua Jin meant, ”Isn’t this courting death?”

”You might want to die but I don’t! Slow down, just listen to me! Trust me on this!”

Hua Jin shouted.

”Alright! Alright! You’re the boss, I’ll do as you say!” Captain ran back to the cabin and slowed down the boat.

The speedboat behind them was getting closer and closer, almost within twenty meters of them.

Hua Jin shouted loudly to An Hao, ”I can never bring myself to harm you! Maybe it’s because you’re An Hao, or maybe because you truly look like Yunong! We didn’t meet for nothing, perhaps in the years to come, I’ll have something new to reminisce about! Goodbye!”

An Hao wanted to say something, but suddenly felt her ankle loosen. Her head went down first and she plunged into the sea!

The seawater surged around her, enveloping her heavily, and she felt like her chest was about to suffocate.

Just then, there was a splash, and another person dove into the sea.

At this moment, she felt two strong arms lifting her up forcefully.

An Hao opened her eyes and saw that the person saving her was her husband, Qin Jian.

She gritted her teeth, held her breath, and propelled upwards with all her strength, her feet constantly kicking at the water.

Finally, just when she felt like her lungs were about to burst, she heard a splash, her head lightened, and she surfaced.

Seeing Qin Jian, An Hao burst into tears, clinging tightly to his chest, letting the warm tears fall freely, ”I thought I would never see you again! I thought I was really going to die!”

”No! As long as I’m here, no one can take you away!” Qin Jian held An Hao tightly and kissed her hard.

”Captain, we’ve hooked the rope! Can’t you two continue this later when you’re back?” Tian Niu chuckled, relieved that the danger had passed.

Zhao Dong and Tie Niu were pulling the rope that was tied to Qiang Jian’s waist on the other end.

The two of them were pulled onto the boat, and An Hao leaned closely against Qin Jian’s chest, breathing the fresh air deeply, ”I’m still alive! It’s wonderful!”

”It’s just a pity that Hua Jin got away!” Qin Jian gritted his teeth fiercely, wishing he could tear him apart!

”In the end, he let me go!” An Hao looked into the distance, ”He is also a pitiful person! Perhaps, in his heart, there’s still a bit of kindness?”

”A person who betrays his country can still be called kind? Even if we can’t catch him now, we will catch him in the future!” Qin Jian said angrily as he pounded the boat deck.

”Yes.” An Hao nodded, raised her hand to wring her wet hair, and asked, ”How are the kids? They should be fine, but I’m worried, let’s find the kids quickly!”

”Alright! Once we’re ashore, we’ll look for them together!” Qin Jian said.

In a county police station in Linjiang City, Ning Chenyang was eating rice heartily.

”Little one, is it enough?” a police officer watched him eat with satisfaction and asked with a smile.

”It’s enough! Uncle, when will my mom and dad come to pick me up?” he asked, tilting his little head.

”Soon! We’ve already called the military service, and your grandpa has been contacted! They should be here very soon!”

Just as the officer finished speaking, they heard a voice from outside, ”Where’s my grandson?”
