Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2268: Chapter 2263: Marry Me When You Grow Up

Ning Chenguang was still thinking about being seen naked by He Yue earlier, his little face bright red.

Hearing her ask, Ning Chenguang sneaked a glance at her, always seeing her with rosy cheeks, a pair of bright eyes like grapes, as if soaked in water, and a small red mouth like a cherry on the tree, truly beautiful.

”Go on, speak!” He Yue saw him staring at her without saying anything for a long time and urged him repeatedly.

”Not fierce! Yueyue is not fierce at all!” Ning Chenguang said softly.

”Really?” He Yue’s eyebrows softened, and the dimples at the corners of her mouth were filled with a smile.

”Yueyue has always been good to me!” Ning Chenguang said very surely.

”That’s great!” He Yue clapped her hands happily and winked at Ning Chenguang, ”So will you marry me when you grow up?”

”Oh my! So embarrassing! So young and already thinking about getting married! You’re only five, Yueyue!” He Mu teased from the side.

”None of your business!” He Yue angrily scolded her brother and turned to Ning Chenguang, ”Brother Chenguang, will you marry me?”

Under He Yue’s bright gaze, Ning Chenguang couldn’t help but nod his head.

”You really agree?”

”Uh-huh!”

”Pinky promise!” He Yue extended her hand.

”Okay.”

Their chubby little white hands hooked together tightly.

”Time to eat! Everyone get up and eat breakfast now!” Liang Xiuzhu’s voice echoed in the yard.

”Let’s go, let’s go! Everyone get up quickly, this morning I have to take Guangguang to town to see the doctor! And also to visit the police station!” He Fusheng said, laughing as he went out.

Liang Xiuzhu placed the dishes on the table. Seeing her husband so cheerful early in the morning, she couldn’t help but ask, ”What are you laughing about?”

”I think our Yueyue is not a simple character! At such a young age, she has already set her own marriage!”

”What?” Liang Xiuzhu was taken aback.

”Your little girl has taken a liking to that child!” He Fusheng laughed heartily.

”Good taste!” Liang Xiuzhu said with a smile, ”But you know, your daughter is a country girl! That boy is a golden egg! In the future, he’ll definitely return to the city! Who knows if he will remember your daughter.”

”That will depend on their fate!” He Fusheng said.

By the time all the dishes were on the table, the three children came out of the room.

Ning Chenguang sat down at the table, and the best portion of the meal was pushed in front of him.

”Guangguang, eat up! After breakfast, you’ll go to town with Uncle!” Liang Xiuzhu said.

”Okay!” Ning Chenguang nodded and lowered his head, gobbling up the meal.

On the first day Ning Chenguang was brought back, he developed a high fever, and He Fusheng took him to the village clinic for IV drips and injections.

It lasted for about seven or eight days before his fever went down, but as the fever subsided, it seemed his memory had issues.

On the first day, he could remember who he was, who his parents and grandparents were.

But the next day, he had forgotten nearly everything.

In the days that followed, he completely forgot, couldn’t find his parents, couldn’t find his family, and ended up staying with the He Family.

However, recently, it seemed like his memory had started to recover, so they needed to take this opportunity to go to the city for a checkup, and then report the situation to the police, hoping to find his parents as soon as possible.
