Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2257: Chapter 2252: Reunion!

While eating at the criminal police team, Ning Chenyang heard his grandfather’s voice. He dropped his spoon and jumped off his seat, running outside.

”Chief! Rest assured! Your grandson is fine! He’s very clever, a really smart kid! He’s eating now!” The captain of the criminal police team led Ning Yibin along, briefing him on the situation.

”Really, thank you so much! If it weren’t for you, my grandson might have...” Ning Yibin couldn’t finish his sentence, and tears involuntarily began to flow from his eyes.

This was the apple of his eye. When he heard the news that the child had been kidnapped, he was so anxious that he had a heart attack.

”No need to thank us! You go in and see your grandson! Our director will be here shortly!”

”No, don’t disturb his work! I’ll just take the child and leave!”

As soon as Ning Yibin finished speaking, Ning Chenyang ran out of the room. Seeing his grandfather in military uniform, he happily threw himself over, hugging his grandfather’s leg: ”Grandpa! You’re here! Grandpa, I missed you so much!”

Ning Yibin bent down, just about to pick up Chenyang, when his aide Liu quickly stopped him: ”Chief, your heart isn’t good! Let me hold him!”

”No! I don’t want Uncle Liu to hold me! I’m a big kid now!” Ning Chenyang looked at Ning Yibin, eyes brimming with tears, unable to speak. He quickly reached up to wipe his tears, ”Grandpa! Don’t be sad! See, I’m back! Rest assured, I’m fine!”

”Good child! Good!” Ning Yibin squatted down, gently stroking Ning Chenyang’s hair, saying, ”Grandpa was so worried about you all! It’s good that you’re back, but we still don’t know about your brother!”

”Report, Chief! Ning Chenguang is still being tracked, and most of our police force in Linjiang has been dispatched! We believe he will be found soon! Please rest assured!” said the captain.

”Really, thank you all so much! You’ve all worked so hard!” Ning Yibin repeatedly thanked them.

”Chief, you’re too kind! We’re here to serve the people!”

At this moment, Qin Jian and An Hao also arrived, and the police station became lively. This kind of situation was the first to occur in this small county.

An Hao rushed in, the first thing she did was hold Ning Chenyang and cry out loud: ”Yangyang! Are you alright? My child, you’ve really suffered!”

”Mom, I’m fine. Don’t cry!” Ning Chenyang wiped her tears with his small hands, his little mouth pouting as if he wanted to cry, ”Guangguang, Guangguang hasn’t been found yet! He was taken away by Teacher Yuan!”

”We’ll definitely find your brother! Yangyang, how about you go home with Grandpa first?” An Hao hugged him tightly, kissing his small face again and again, ”Daddy and I will go find your brother, you go back and listen to Grandpa and Grandma, don’t run around!”

”Okay!” Ning Chenyang nodded, reluctantly kissing his mom, then returned to Ning Yibin’s embrace.

The big leaders of the military district came over, and the county bureau leaders accompanied them.

Ning Yibin just said a few simple words, then took the child and left, leaving his son Qin Jian and daughter-in-law An Hao to cooperate with the police in capturing Yuan Yunong and retrieving the missing child.

”What’s the current situation?” After the police station quieted down, Qin Jian sat down and analyzed the situation with the captain.

”It seems they’re still within our county’s control range! But, the perpetrator is very cunning, and we haven’t caught them yet! They took the child into a village! We’ve increased the search intensity, hoping we can catch them within our jurisdiction!” said the captain of the criminal police team.
