Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2258: Chapter 2253: I’ll Strangle You

”We can still apply for help from the local stationed troops, under no circumstances can we let Yuan Yunong escape with the child!” Qin Jian said through clenched teeth.

”If that’s the case, then let’s move!” The squad leader slapped the table, and all personnel stood up in unison, ”We’ll aim for a quick resolution!”

............

Yuan Yunong was sweating profusely, and she had a child under five in tow.

Although Ning Chenguang exercised every day, after this long distance, he was also tired and drained of energy.

But in the child’s mind, he was still scheming.

He wanted to seize the opportunity to escape.

He couldn’t just sit back and wait for death, he needed to escape, he needed to find his mom and dad.

”You little brat, can’t you go a bit faster?” Yuan Yunong was exhausted to the point of collapse, her young face stung painfully from brushing against the corn leaves, her arms were covered in red welts.

”I’m out of strength. I’m not going any further! I’m done!” Ning Chenguang pouted and plopped onto the ground, lying there motionless.

”I’m telling you, don’t give me trouble! Hurry up and come with me!” After such a long escape, Yuan Yunong had run out of patience, she was no longer Yuan Yunong, she was Hei Mei.

The darkness inside her broke free from the constraints of her identity, gradually being released here.

”Not going! Can’t move!” Ning Chenguang turned his back to Yuan Yunong.

”You dare!” Yuan Yunong kicked the child, ”Get up and run with me! If you cause trouble again, I’ll strangle you!”

”If you were going to strangle me, you would have done it long ago! Why go through all this trouble to escape with me?” Ning Chenguang’s little mind was sharp.

On the car ride, he and his brother listened for so long, and although he didn’t fully understand why Teacher Yuan wanted to take them away, he knew somewhat that the teacher wasn’t a good person who wanted to take them abroad, so they’d never see their mom and dad again.

”You little brat! I’ve never hated smart people like I do today!” Yuan Yunong grabbed Ning Chenguang by the collar, pulled him off the ground, and slapped him hard across the face.

”Ah—!” Ning Chenguang’s cheek stung from the slap, and tears streamed down immediately.

A bright red five-finger mark appeared on his fair little face, swelling up instantly: ”It hurts! It hurts so much!”

Ning Chenguang began to cry loudly, the sound carried far across the quiet afternoon wilderness.

”I’ll be damned if I let you cry!” Yuan Yunong reached out to cover Ning Chenguang’s mouth.

Suddenly, Ning Chenguang wasn’t having any of it. He opened his mouth and bit down hard on the flesh of her hand, with force, with more force...

”Ahhhhhhh!” Yuan Yunong screamed in pain, ”Let go! Let go of me!”

Ning Chenguang said nothing, keeping his mouth shut and biting down hard. He tasted a strong metallic taste as her blood trickled down his mouth.

”Let go! You damned kid! I’ll kill you!” Yuan Yunong used her other hand to hit Ning Chenguang’s head fiercely, her inner resentment completely unleashed at this moment.

Seeing this situation, it was likely she couldn’t leave safely with the child. If that’s the case, she might as well kill the kid.
