Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 416: Chapter 416: Three Days Off School!

”You bitch!” Guan Kexin screamed and pounced.

”Guan Kexin, don’t push it too far!” Gu Shuangshuang couldn’t stand by and watch her bully others, so she also joined the fray, and for a moment the dormitory dissolved into chaos.

The fight was explosive, almost blowing the roof off the dorm.

The dormitory’s caretaker auntie was startled awake; it took the strength of an ox and the effort of a tiger to separate the three of them.

Seeing each of them torn and disheveled made her fume with rage: ”Look at you! This fight you’ve had! There goes my award for Outstanding Dormitory Manager this year! Now I have to report you to the school’s head of discipline! Without regulations, you kids are really revolting!”

Guan Kexin was fearless because she had deliberately sought trouble to vent her spleen.

Her grandfather was a military commander, what did she have to fear?

A word from her grandfather to the school leaders, and she could escape responsibility.

The ones in real trouble were An Hao and Gu Shuangshuang!

When the matter escalated to the head of discipline, Yan Ye got wind of it and hurried over to handle the situation.

The incident had caused too much of a stir; the school had to take some disciplinary action.

As a result, they decided that day to suspend the three students for three days for observation and make them issue a self-criticism before the entire school!

Guan Kexin’s behavior was considered especially bad, so the school decided to put a major demerit in her record.

On the day of the suspension, Guan Kexin went back to her grandfather.

While the other students were in class, An Hao and Gu Shuangshuang lay in their dormitory beds, munching on apples.

”An Hao, I didn’t see that coming! You actually hit Guan Kexin! You know what? I love this side of you! So satisfying! Truly satisfying!”

Although fighting wasn’t in her nature and she knew it would have a bad influence, An Hao still went through with it.

She definitely didn’t want Guan Kexin to walk all over her!

An Hao knew very well that if she continually gave in, it would only lead to Guan Kexin bullying her even more mercilessly.

Guan Kexin’s jealousy wouldn’t let her go easily.

An Hao didn’t regret hitting Guan Kexin!

However, it was a pity for Gu Shuangshuang: ”Shuangshuang, I’m fine, but I’ve dragged you into this mess! Why did you rush in when she and I were fighting?”

”I just can’t stand seeing someone being bullied!” Gu Shuangshuang bit into her apple forcefully and chewed fiercely as she spoke, ”I must have a combative gene in me! In my past life, I bet I was a heroine, unable to pass by injustice without drawing my sword to help!”

”Thank you, Shuangshuang,” An Hao said, touched from the bottom of her heart.

This was a friend she had made since her rebirth that warmed her heart!

Just because of this friend, An Hao felt that her life had not been lived in vain!

The two chatted merrily in the dorm when they suddenly heard a banging on the door, followed by the entrance of the caretaker auntie.

”Heroine, indeed! Did you think of my feelings when you took out your sword to help? I haven’t been named the Outstanding Dormitory Manager for five years running, and just when the evaluation is tomorrow, you had to pick yesterday of all days to fight! I hate the three of you!”

Seeing that it was the caretaker, Gu Shuangshuang couldn’t help but laugh: ”Auntie, sorry about that! It’s my first year here, I wasn’t aware of the rules! Next year, I definitely won’t mess up your chances.”

”Humph! You’ve made me so angry!” the caretaker auntie said, seething with frustration.

An Hao also felt sorry for the caretaker auntie, so she took two apples from her bag on the wall, jumped down, and put them in her hand: ”I’m sorry, Auntie! Have an apple to cool off! We’ll definitely be more careful in the future!”
