Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 410: Chapter 410: The Terrifying Jealousy of a Woman

How could Yan Ye, the one she liked, care about someone else?

Moreover, he was concerned about An Hao, the person she hated the most, which greatly upset her!

As she felt a surge of jealousy, she heard Yan Ye continue, ”We didn’t have time to do the corresponding exercises after finishing the last class. Is there anyone who wants to volunteer?”

As soon as he finished speaking, a male student eagerly raised his hand.

”Very good! Are there any female students?” Yan Ye’s gaze rested on Gu Shuangshuang’s face.

Under immense pressure, she reluctantly raised her hand.

An Hao had just breathed a sigh of relief when she heard Yan Ye say, ”An Hao, don’t you want to give it another try?”

”Okay,” An Hao agreed, steeling herself.

Although she performed very well, psychological barriers are not that easily overcome.

Guan Kexin’s heart roiled with jealousy watching Yan Ye pay so much attention to An Hao.

This cold guy, where would he be able to remember a woman’s name? Yet he remembered An Hao’s. If that wasn’t intentional, what was it?

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, nearly grinding her teeth to bits.

It proved that a woman’s jealousy could be terrifying, and if not checked, it could result in disaster!

As An Hao focused intently on her dissection, a wave of hatred flooded Guan Kexin’s heart from where she stood to one side.

She quietly moved next to An Hao and, pretending to be careless, violently bumped An Hao’s elbow.

”Ah!” An Hao cried out in alarm, as the scalpel blade glinted under the light, and she saw Yan Ye’s eyes suddenly widen.

His hand shot out quickly, grasping the hand that held An Hao’s scalpel.

Luckily, his reaction was fast; any slower and An Hao’s scalpel could have easily sliced through the other hand she had on the cadaver.

Even though the body had been tested and didn’t carry any viruses, an infection would still be a troublesome issue.

What’s more, the scalpel had already been used on the cadaver!

As An Hao’s racing heart calmed down, she realized that Yan Ye’s hand was still around the scalpel.

”Teacher Yan, are you alright?”

Yan Ye slowly let go. The rubber glove on his hand had been sliced by the blade, the blade piercing into his palm, blood trickling down along the metal.

”Teacher Yan... your hand!” An Hao had not anticipated such an incident, ”I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! Teacher Yan, let me help you treat the wound.”

The classmates froze in an instant, and the air seemed to stand still!

Yan Ye pursed his lips and, with a resentful look, glanced at Guan Kexin, then said to the practicing students, ”Continue practicing diligently, it’s almost time for class to end. Tidy up the classroom when it’s time on your own.”

He then swiftly left with An Hao.

Inside a temporary office in the corridor, he directed An Hao, ”Don’t worry, it’s just a small cut. You just help me disinfect it thoroughly.”

”Okay,” An Hao knew it was Guan Kexin who had bumped her elbow, but she was not inclined to pursue that matter at the moment; treating Yan Ye’s hand was more urgent.

Guan Kexin, unable to focus on the class, followed to check on Yan Ye’s hand.

Seeing An Hao holding his palm to disinfect it, she pushed An Hao away in anger, ”Get away! Let me do it! How could you be so blind? If it hadn’t been for your carelessness, Teacher Yan wouldn’t have been hurt!”

Guan Kexin’s attitude was very clear.

From their interactions over this period, An Hao knew that Guan Kexin liked Yan Ye.

She never intended to provoke Yan Ye; in her eyes, he was just a teacher of her subject.

Shuangshuang might be petty and mean to her, but she would not take that lying down.
