Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 415: Chapter 415: I’d Be Doing You Wrong If I Didn’t Hit You

”Have you ever heard the saying, ’Three men make a tiger’? Words can kill, you know!” Gu Shuangshuang was still very worried.

”So how should I clear things up?” An Hao countered Gu Shuangshuang, ”Should I also post a bunch of papers with ’An Hao did not hook up with the teacher’ written on them? This childish slander can only cause a commotion momentarily, but with time everyone will understand what’s really going on. Such rumors collapse under their own weight!”

Besides, there was Yan Ye.

Even if she wasn’t in a hurry, Yan Ye surely wouldn’t just sit by and do nothing.

An Hao felt that he definitely wouldn’t tolerate Guan Kexin’s nonsense.

”You really are broad-minded! If it were me, I would definitely find Guan Kexin, no matter if her grandpa is some kind of military commander, and smack her twice across the face,” Gu Shuangshuang had always been hot-tempered.

”That’s totally unnecessary,” An Hao smiled faintly, ”Jealousy is already torturing her enough! She has to endure her own pain and watch others be happy! She would love nothing more than for me to strike back now so she could exploit the situation to her advantage! I’m going to make her suffocate with it!”

”Brilliant! An Hao, I truly admire you!”

An Hao didn’t bother with the rumor, which fermented and intensified throughout the campus like yeast.

Xu Yinuo, threatened by Guan Kexin, would reluctantly affirm the rumors to anyone who asked, as if they were true.

Soon after, the rumor reached the ears of the principal.

The principal had a talk with Yan Ye.

After learning the full story, he told Yan Ye to make sure to behave properly.

Returning to the staff dormitory, the more Yan Ye thought about it, the angrier he got. That little girl had gone too far!

She was acting way too capriciously!

Furious, Yan Ye scolded Guan Kexin.

His words were harsh, slicing into Guan Kexin’s heart like a knife, ”Guan Kexin, this commotion of yours is only going to completely kill off the last shred of fondness I have for you! I’ve told you I’m your elder! Take your little girl thoughts and pack them away! Go apologize to An Hao! And from now on, you’d better not provoke her, or else I’ll truly be unkind to you!”

”Yan Ye, I know you like that wild girl! I won’t apologize, what’s wrong with me loving you! I only got into Medical University for you! I don’t even like studying medicine! It’s all for you!” Guan Kexin yelled out her grievances at Yan Ye.

”Then withdraw from school and go home!” Yan Ye said coldly, before pushing Guan Kexin out the door and slamming it shut with a bang.

With no outlet for her rage, Guan Kexin headed straight back to her dorm, saw An Hao reviewing notes, strode over, grabbed them, and tore them to shreds.

Her outburst shocked everyone in the dorm.

”Guan Kexin, you’ve gone too far! Do you bully An Hao because you think she’s an easy target, picking on her alone?” Gu Shuangshuang stepped forward, hands on hips, looking down threateningly at Guan Kexin who was shorter than her.

”Yes, so what? What can you all do to me?” Guan Kexin retorted defiantly, challenging An Hao’s patience, ”How about it? Are you angry? Do you feel like hitting someone? Now you can understand how I feel, right? This is how I feel right now! Come on, hit me! If you’ve got the guts, beat me up!”

Before Guan Kexin had finished speaking, a gust of wind swept past her face, followed by a sharp, resounding slap.

”As you wish!” An Hao looked at her coldly, ”Guan Kexin, this is the smack you asked for! I’d really be letting you down if I didn’t hit you!”
