Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1845: Chapter 1847: Can’t Let Her Get Away

Song Jiaying candidly confesses to Cheng Su who the father of the child in her arms is, leaving Cheng Su a bit surprised and awkward, unsure how to respond to her words for a moment.

Upon seeing the child’s face, Cheng Su can only smile and change the subject: ”Is he called Tianyi?”

”Yes, Song Tianyi!” Song Jiaying lovingly touches her son’s cheek and says, ”It’s the will of heaven, hence the name.”

She emphasized the ”Song” part, indicating that this child is hers, carries her surname, belongs solely to her, and no one else should even think about taking him away.

Song Jiaying isn’t exactly eager to be candid with Cheng Su, but she knows Cheng Su is close with Ning Ge, and Xiao Tianyi inherited some of that bastard’s features, so Cheng Su and Ning Ge, being so familiar, can easily discern that.

Therefore, instead of hiding, it’s better to say it outright, rather than weaving lies that would need ten more to cover one; she’s tired of it!

She hopes Cheng Su will keep her secret, but even if she does spill it, so what? The child is hers, born by her alone—Ning Ge was at most just a sperm donor!

If anyone dares to take her child away, she’ll fight them to the death!

”So, where are you coming back from?” Cheng Su asks her.

”Australia.” Song Jiaying looks at her and says, ”I gave birth to my child abroad.”

”Then, why are you alone? Where’s your family?” Cheng Su asks again.

Song Jiaying purses her lips and says, ”I came back by myself; my family hasn’t met Tianyi yet.”

”They don’t know? You gave birth all alone abroad? Ten months?” Cheng Su is shocked, amazed at her audacity and courage.

Song Jiaying gives her a glance and says, ”What’s impossible about that? I think you’re a modern and open-minded person, right? Abroad, unmarried childbirth is common.”

”But, but...”

”Anyway, the child is born now; they can’t do anything to us. At worst, I’ll go back abroad, live with my son. I’m a doctor, fully capable of taking care of him.” Song Jiaying replies calmly.

Truly a cold and stubborn woman!

Cheng Su takes a breath and softly says, ”Jiaying, may I call you that?”

Song Jiaying nods.

”Well, Ning Ge did chat with us about you back then, and this year he’s been trying to find you, to no avail. I can see he has feelings for you. So this year, he hasn’t dated anyone or made any playboy headlines. You asked me not to tell him about you and Xiao Tianyi, but honestly, now that you’re back in the Capital, even if I don’t say anything, sooner or later he’ll find out. The Capital is practically his turf now, it’s not like you won’t leave your house at all, right? Even if you don’t, your family will have thoughts, won’t they?” Cheng Su says gently.

Song Jiaying’s eyebrows furrow.

”When your family sees the child, they’ll definitely have thoughts. Both the Song family and the Ning family, I believe they’d be happy to see you two unite, whether for the child’s sake, family interest, or simply for you two.” Cheng Su continues, smiling, ”Even as an outsider, I think you two are quite a match!”

Upon hearing this, Song Jiaying’s face has already darkened.

”I’m buying a ticket to go back to Australia right away!” She grits her teeth.

Cheng Su panics and quickly says, ”Don’t make a fuss, the child is still young. Besides, now that you’re back, didn’t your family come to pick you up at the airport?”

What a joke, it’s one thing if she runs away alone, but now she’s running with the child; Ning Ge would be devastated.

Not knowing is one thing, but knowing, she definitely can’t let Song Jiaying run away.
