Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1815: Chapter 1817: Give Her a Chance

Mother Qi is coming to take care of the child, but the ones to be persuaded are not Cheng Su and the spouse, the most important one is Qi Xiaoqi.

Everyone knows how clever Qi Xiaoqi the little friend is, and Cheng Su knows even better. Even if he pretends to be innocent, Cheng Su considers him a ’smart’ person, so she needs to discuss well with him.

That’s right, it’s a discussion, not simply informing. Otherwise, if he acts out, it will be fine if Cheng Su is there, but if not, what about Mother Qi?

So, Cheng Su took Qi Xiaoqi aside for a talk, saying that Grandma is returning to her hometown. From now on, whenever Cheng Su is not home, his grandma will take care of him.

When Cheng Su said it, her eyes were fixed on her son’s face and eyes.

Sure enough, Qi Xiaoqi was stunned, looking at his mother in amazement, but the moment of surprise was fleeting, almost impossible to capture.

”If possible, Mom wouldn’t leave you to be taken care of by either Grandma or your other Grandma. I promise you, as long as Mom doesn’t have to go to class or handle business, she’ll be home taking care of you personally, okay?” Cheng Su promised Qi Xiaoqi: ”Once Mom graduates next year, she’ll be able to be with you often.”

Qi Xiaoqi pouted and said: ”Xiao Qi wants Grandma.”

Cheng Su kissed his forehead and said: ”I know, you don’t want Grandma to leave, right? Mom also doesn’t want to.”

Qi Xiaoqi looked at her, not wanting it, so why make such arrangements?

”Grandma has been taking care of you for over a year, and throughout this time, Grandpa has been alone at home, and we don’t need to mention the loneliness. And your other Grandma, if her leg wasn’t inconvenient, she would have longed to come and take care of you. Now that her leg is better, it’s reasonable for her to come.”

Qi Xiaoqi glanced at her, lowered his head and said in a childish voice: ”She’s not good.”

Cheng Su raised an eyebrow: ”What’s not good?”

Little rascal, can’t hold it in?

”She’s not good to Grandma or to you,” Qi Xiaoqi said, ”I don’t like her.”

Cheng Su’s eyes showed amusement, but she said: ”But she’s your grandma, your father’s mother. You can’t say this in front of your dad, or be careful, he’ll spank your butt.”

Qi Xiaoqi’s little nose twitched, Cheng Su found it interesting, holding him on her lap and turning his face to look at her.

Mother and son stared at each other until finally, Qi Xiaoqi turned his eyes away.

”Listen, Qi Xiaoqi, Mom knows you understand,” Cheng Su turned his face back again and said, ”The relationships between people deepen through interaction. Your grandma cares about you without a doubt. Don’t deny her right away; try it first. If you really can’t tolerate her, then object later. But you need to stand on reason, not be unreasonable, and don’t be arrogant because of pampering. Simply put, she’s just an older person. The older generation’s thoughts are different from ours, just as ours are different from yours; in the future, our thoughts will also differ.”

Qi Xiaoqi stared at her, his bright little lips slightly pursed, his gaze almost saying, ”Mom, I’m just a little over one year old, okay? Are these things really suitable for me to hear?”

Cheng Su didn’t care about him, continuing: ”Let’s give her a chance, okay?”

Qi Xiaoqi’s brow furrowed.

”You should try everything once. If you don’t try, how will you know the other person’s ways of doing things? You have to interact to know how the other person behaves, to understand someone. I believe Xiao Qi is a smart child and will know what to do.” Cheng Su looked at him meaningfully.

Under her gaze, Qi Xiaoqi lowered his head. What else could he say? He’s just a child, he can only abide by arrangements!
