Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1840: Chapter 1842: You Are Not Fighting Alone

In business, there’s no one who thinks they have too much money, and Cheng Su is no exception. She’s not pretentious. Since she’s a shareholder of Old Jixiang now, for her own interests, she should reasonably offer advice and suggestions as a shareholder.

So, she talked to Little Yu about the development of Old Jixiang. Little Yu saw her giving suggestions as if she had found a treasure and quickly took out a notebook and pen from her bag to jot down some key points.

She is somewhat capable now, but in front of Cheng Su, her skills are just amateurish, so gaining more key knowledge from Cheng Su is like Cheng Su giving her money. Of course, she needed to take notes, as these are the ultimate guides to conducting business and dealing with people.

”You’re well prepared now, carrying a notebook with you,” Cheng Su said with a smile.

Little Yu replied, ”This is my first time doing business. I didn’t have any extraordinary skills before, and as I’m getting older, my memory isn’t what it used to be. If I don’t write things down as soon as I think of them, I’ll forget them. You also mentioned that when three people walk together, there is always something to learn from. Sometimes when I talk to others, if I hear something agreeable or reasonable, I write it down to review later, and that’s how I learn!”

Cheng Su nodded approvingly, ”That’s how it should be. Diligence can make up for lack of ability. If you can’t remember, just write it down and review it later. You might even get more inspiration.”

”That’s the way it is. That’s why I carry a notebook and pen with me now!” Little Yu said, ”Originally, being an employee meant just working hard for a salary was enough. But now that I’m really doing business and am a boss, I find that a lot needs to be considered and thought about. It’s not easy!”

”Exactly, being a boss is more tiring than being an employee, genuinely exhausting your mind and body, just like an emperor in ancient times!” Cheng Su related deeply to this, especially as more employees meant more weight on her shoulders. She said, ”No matter what, let’s keep it up. In our adult life, there is no such thing as ’easy’.”

Little Yu nodded and added, ”I plan to hire an accountant next year when this branch opens, as I’m not good with the accounts. It’s better to hire a professional!”

Forming a mature team slowly, Cheng Su had no objections and even advised her that if she found capable people, she could cultivate them as her assistants or such. After all, a boss can’t manage everything personally, right? Having an assistant to help with some details is quite good too.

Little Yu wrote everything down one by one.

The two of them talked more and more in sync, and only after some time had passed did Little Yu suggest taking her leave.

”If you go to Guangcheng next year, I won’t be able to have frequent talks with you!” Little Yu said to Cheng Su.

Cheng Su escorted her to the door and said, ”Now communications are convenient; cell phones are starting to become popular. Mobile communication will become more advanced in the future. With just a call, what’s stopping us from talking? And with transportation, airports will be built in the future, and we can meet in no time by plane!”

”That’s true!” Little Yu laughed.

”I’m looking forward to seeing our Old Jixiang spread all over and its reputation rising steadily. If you encounter any difficulties or feel puzzled, call me anytime, and we’ll solve it together,” Cheng Su held her hand and said, ”Remember, sister, you’re not fighting alone!”

Little Yu’s nose tingled, and she held her hand tightly, saying, ”I know.”

She knows she’s not alone; her children are there, Cheng Su is there, and no matter how difficult or tough it gets, she has support and won’t live the hard days of the past anymore.
