I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 546: Chapter 545: Intermediate Medicine Cuisine Provider

Heavenly Blessing primarily deals in semi-finished herbal remedies. Ma Tianlai has been busy, and Beisitian is not idle either. Although she doesn’t plan to manage business affairs, she has differentiated the types of herbal remedies, making it easier for both promotion and marketing.

Since it’s only Beisitian working on this, there’s still some limitation despite the differentiation, which can be continuously improved in the future.

Beisitian divides the herbal remedies into two major categories: one by form, another by efficacy.

By form, they are divided into soup, drinks, porridge, wine, paste, stew, meal, and powder types.

These are mostly sorted based on the existing types of herbal remedies. But since Beisitian now has a baby, she plans to create a candy type specifically for children, considering the nutritional needs they’ll have.

By efficacy, Beisitian also lists them on the existing basis.

Health and wellness type, skin care and beauty type, disease prevention and treatment type, and disease recovery type.

With the major categories established, further subdivision into smaller categories is needed. Beisitian just needs to provide the recipe and method for creating the corresponding herbal remedies.

However, this process is especially important. Since Beisitian wants to make money, she plans to do it well. Each major category will have numerous smaller categories, with each herbal remedy having a specific effect, ensuring quick results.

Ma Tianlai tells Beisitian that for any commercial product, differentiation between high-end and low-end products is necessary to meet the various needs of customers. For example, ordinary people would generally buy regular herbal remedies, but wealthier clients are not satisfied with the existing herbal remedies.

After all, these wealthy clients have tried many good things, and once they have health and beauty awareness, they are absolutely not stingy about spending money.

Therefore, Beisitian plans to launch some advanced herbal remedies, which will include a drop of talismanic water with the corresponding effect as an auspicious enhancement.

Because Beisitian is the only one currently, these kinds of herbal remedies are limited... Hold on, Beisitian’s gaze falls on Wei Zhongyuan.

She sees him resting in a corner, with beads of sweat on his forehead, evidently a bit exhausted after practicing the Spiritual Talisman.

Beisitian’s lips begin to curl into a smile as she looks at Wei Zhongyuan.

Wei Zhongyuan is probably feeling the intent of that gaze, his handsome face turns towards her, looking at Beisitian with a puzzled expression.

”Since you want to practice, why not follow the method I provided you? A Mystic Doctor is not just for treating cold and minor symptoms. You need to be able to make any Xuan Talisman, only then can you be a true Mystic Doctor,” Beisitian said earnestly.

Wei Zhongyuan hadn’t expected Beisitian to guide him and immediately focused his attention, deeply realizing the truth after listening. Currently, he only practices the simplest Xuan Talisman, since he is the only Mystic Doctor in the Wei Family. If Beisitian does not guide him, he would have to explore on his own.

Now that Beisitian has offered her guidance, he is truly ecstatic and becomes even more respectful towards Beisitian.

From then on, Wei Zhongyuan plunges into a challenging life making ’raw materials’ for Beisitian’s Heavenly Blessing.

Due to Wei Zhongyuan’s somewhat lesser skill, the green glow is faint, and the talismanic water he produces has significantly less potency. As a result, Beisitian has to create an Intermediate Medicine Cuisine, which is sold only in limited quantities.

”Our samples just passed the inspection by the food testing bureau and can be put on the shelves for sale.” Ma Tianlai came to Beisitian’s small courtyard and said while sitting on the sofa, ”The regular herbal remedies are priced between 8 to 30 yuan. The Intermediate ones are priced between 300 to 600 yuan. Advanced herbal remedies start at twelve hundred, and can be preordered based on efficacy. Doctor Bei, what do you think?”

Before Beisitian could say anything, Wei Zhongyuan became somewhat panicked, ”Doctor Bei, can my talismanic water be used?”

He completely lacked confidence. If the talismanic water he produced turns out to be ineffective, wouldn’t it ruin Beisitian’s reputation?

Ma Tianlai glanced at him, knowing well that Doctor Bei had found another Mystic Doctor around her. It seemed to be this one, who supplied the raw materials for the Intermediate Medicine Cuisine.

Beisitian slightly furrowed her brows, ”You are a Mystic Doctor now, even if your starting point is lower than that of a typical Mystic Doctor, you shouldn’t undervalue yourself. The talismanic water produced by Spiritual Talisman is worlds apart from the talismanic water you used to make!”

Previously, when Wei Zhongyuan needed a talisman medium for talisman making, the green glow was much thicker, but it seemed like a fog, elusive and unable to condense. Now, even if the green glow is lighter, the Xuan Talisman produced by the Spiritual Talisman is far more effective than previously and stronger than what Wei Yuanqing produced.

This is a qualitative breakthrough. It is evident Wei Zhongyuan hasn’t realized this yet. It seems he needs to bring him along to consultations; otherwise, he will train himself silly if he keeps practicing so monotonously.

Beisitian said his starting point is lower than other Mystic Doctors because he recklessly broke through the constraint before his spirit was fully enriched. Although he succeeded under Beisitian’s guidance, his spirit is still lacking, which is why he finds it so strenuous.

”Mr. Wei is being modest; if Doctor Bei says there is no issue, then surely there is none!” Ma Tianlai, laughing heartily, prepared to establish a good rapport with him.

This person was not only close to Beisitian, but also an heir to the Wei Family, making it naturally important to build a good relationship.

Wei Zhongyuan’s lack of confidence was primarily because he had Beisitian by his side. If he had broken through on his own, surrounded only by those still using talisman mediums for talisman making, his self-assurance would have been ample.

However, this might be for the best; avoiding complacency allows for focused learning and advancing courageously.

As Wei Zhongyuan is also one of the main forces, someone like Ma Tianlai, who handles matters skillfully, directly offered him a stake, though not a mere stake, since he didn’t provide capital but contributed talismanic water more valuable than cash!

Regarding the dividends from Heavenly Blessing, as Beisitian had no objections, Wei Zhongyuan also made no mention of it. Since he temporarily joined Beisitian, it wasn’t appropriate to ask the Wei Family for money again, and earning money himself was best, especially since he needed to buy those herbs personally.

”Once pricing matters are settled, Doctor Bei, here is the list of guests I proposed for hosting. Look it over. In addition to the guest list, I also want to invite some influential people in this field to help promote us. This may require your involvement, as I lack the influence to invite them,” Ma Tianlai said.

This was the main reason for his visit today.

Beisitian said she didn’t want celebrities to promote, so only the big shots could be invited, and only Beisitian could bear such a task.
