I Became a Medical Genius in the 80s

Chapter 509: Chapter 508: Withdrawal of Shares

Beisitian sighed inwardly, suddenly feeling that investing in Shenghua Group was not a wise decision. If Luo Xuhua could indeed have full authority, it would be fine, but unfortunately, Shao Simin was his wife, and she had some influence on him.

Just like now, Beisitian felt somewhat frustrated.

Beisitian did not have the talent for business and did not intend to manage it herself, so she chose to invest. Now, because of Shao Simin’s constant suspicion, she felt quite impatient.

She could understand Shao Simin’s thoughts and actions. If it were her, she might be the same. After all, the other party had not revealed anything; it was impossible to use this person’s formula casually.

Understanding is one thing, but it really is troublesome.

In this case, it would be better to choose someone she knows well to cooperate with. In that moment, Beisitian thought of Ma Tianlai; he said he wanted to develop on the Mainland and was also interested in pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Luo Xuhua did not scold Shao Simin forcefully because he was also puzzled. After all, being so close to the Tian Family, why not discuss it with them? They could buy formulas from the Tian Family or let the Tian Family take some shares.

However, he couldn’t say it that way; he didn’t want this matter to create a rift between brothers, sighing inwardly, feeling very troubled.

”Well, let’s discuss this further then,” said Beisitian with a faint smile, ”These two formulas, consider them a gift to you, Brother.”

Luo Xuhua breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the first part, but was stunned by what Beisitian said afterward; gifting to him, what did that mean?

The formulas she brought out, Beisitian did not intend to take back. She considered these two formulas as her reward for the past six months, as she planned to withdraw her shares.

Luo Xuhua was not a fool. Initially unclear, he quickly understood Beisitian’s meaning, opened his mouth, and looked at Luo Xudong nearby.

Luo Xudong still did not express any opinion from start to finish; whatever Beisitian wanted to do, she should go ahead and do it.

Shao Simin’s mind had not yet reacted, and she said: ”Sitian, sister-in-law doesn’t want to do this either, but we all want to move in a positive direction, and I’m sure you do too. You know how great the loss would be if a company had problems with its products? It’s not just about losing money or taking products off shelves; there’s a lot of unquantifiable damage afterward!”

Beisitian’s smile remained unchanged, ”Sister-in-law is right.”

Shao Simin probably didn’t expect Beisitian to be so agreeable today, momentarily stunned, she regretted her earlier words might have been too blunt, and thought she should have considered her wording, as this might have hurt Beisitian’s self-esteem.

Shao Simin was at a loss for what to do, glancing at Luo Xuhua, and remained silent.

Luo Xuhua had figured out Beisitian’s intention, bitterly smiled and said: ”Sister-in-law, what are you doing? I never meant to force you.”

”Brother, I can understand sister-in-law’s thoughts, and you probably think the same. This is a business matter and unrelated to our friendship. However, such trivial matters could affect our relationship. I’m not intending to negotiate these matters with the Tian Family; this is my business, and I don’t plan to back down. For the sake of Shenghua Group, you wouldn’t retreat either. So, this is the best solution for now.”

Beisitian spoke calmly without any emotion, clearly not intending to use this to threaten Luo Xuhua into compromising. But precisely because of this, it made him even more hesitant in his heart.

Beisitian seemed indifferent to selling her shares, which brought a tinge of frustration to Luo Xuhua.

Shao Simin looked at one and then the other, still not completely clear.

”Do you really insist on transferring the equity?” Luo Xuhua asked with a sigh, noting that Luo Xudong appeared disinclined to intervene.

Only then did Shao Simin understand Beisitian’s intention, and her momentary hesitation disappeared. Initially, she had the same thought as Luo Xuhua, believing Beisitian was using her shares to threaten them!

Now Shenghua is a listed large company, transferring equity requires evaluating the entire corporation, which is a troublesome and complicated process. With the assets on the Guangzhou side, Shenghua’s scale is very large, transferring shares proportionally would be very advantageous for Beisitian! But for Shenghua Group, missing this fund might cause cash flow issues for some time!

This is exactly what angered Shao Simin; was she really going to use this method to threaten them just because her formula wasn’t accepted?

”Yes, Brother,” Beisitian replied.

Instead of this continuous disagreement, it would be better to separate. She didn’t want these business matters, perhaps due to Shao Simin and her, to put the brotherly bond of Luo Xuhua and Luo Xudong at risk.

Luo Xuhua sighed and said nothing more, but Shao Simin couldn’t swallow her anger. She hated people like this the most, using this to threaten them at such a time!

”Very well, but you know Shenghua currently doesn’t have much liquid funds; even if we sell, it can only be done at your original investment price,” Shao Simin said with a cold face.

Shao Simin’s words were extremely harsh, but to someone who wanted to use withdrawing shares as a threat, she felt this was a strong counter!

”Okay.” Beisitian’s smile remained unchanged.

Shao Simin was quickly calculating in her head, waiting for Beisitian to argue once she changed her expression, so she could retaliate with words. But she never expected Beisitian to agree so straightforwardly.

Shao Simin looked at Beisitian as if she were a fool, unable to resist asking: ”Do you know how much you will lose if you sell at the original investment price!”

Beisitian smiled, ”Getting back the principal is sufficient.”

As for how much profit or loss there is, she didn’t care. With high-quality products, paired with someone who knows how to manage, would she fear not making money!

Only then did Shao Simin realize Beisitian wasn’t using this as a threat; she genuinely wanted to withdraw!

What was this woman thinking, didn’t she know what Shenghua Group represented, casually withdrawing and incurring such a huge loss!

Looking at the calm Beisitian, Luo Xuhua suddenly felt that her departure might make him regret it someday. Would he?

This time, Luo Xuhua originally intended to visit Beisitian, having heard about the triplets to congratulate her, but he never expected things to escalate to this point.

”Brother, don’t worry, without these issues, perhaps our relationship will be better,” Beisitian discussed matter-of-factly, seemingly unconcerned about her loss and Shao Simin’s difficulty and even comforting Luo Xuhua.

Shao Simin pursed her lips, watching Beisitian intently, wondering whether her actions were genuine or a facade.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t tell; from beginning to end, Beisitian’s face held a constant smile without any change.
